+RazzerKirk I thought about the same thing. I think i uses the same pattern as the hands in the halftime shuffle RLR RLR but played over a 32nd note base.. he just speeds it up a level... I have to check it again.

I think this tempo is too fast for the ghost notes; it's too busy. Slow it down like the Purdy shuffle (Home at Last), and the ghost notes groove, but speed it up to this tempo and it grooves better without the ghost notes.
