Hi! What do u think about gaming phones like rog 9, redmagic 10, etc. that used 8 elite? Their antutu score was 3 million. Im lack of knowledge about them because i just think that 8 elite is overkill with its 3 million antutu score while the 9400 only got 2,6 million. But when i see ur vid, gt7 pro with 8 elite also got 2,6 million score. Is there any phones that used 9400 where the phone is designed to push gaming performance? I just want to see the result of the compare, cuz i didnt expect the 9400 was also that great.
Hi! Gaming phones like the ROG Phone 9, RedMagic 10, and others using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite can indeed score incredibly high on benchmarks like AnTuTu, reaching around 3 million. However, real-world performance often depends on more than just raw scores-like cooling systems, software optimization, and sustained performance during long gaming sessions. The Dimensity 9400 is a powerful chip, and it can definitely compete with the Snapdragon 8 Elite in many scenarios. But as of now, most phones designed specifically to push gaming performance still focus on Snapdragon chips due to better GPU optimization and partnerships with game developers. That’s why you see phones like the RedMagic or ROG series running Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite. That said, if we do see a phone optimized for gaming with the Dimensity 9400, it would be very interesting to compare. While on paper it might score slightly lower (2.6 million vs 3 million), the real-world experience could be closer than expected, especially in thermally-efficient devices. I'll keep an eye out for any gaming-focused 9400 phone to test and compare. It’d be exciting to see how it performs!
It 3nm not 4nm
