Don't Order a Pepperoni Pizza in Italy! 6 Things to Know

I love to try different pizzas in Italy. But, if you order a pepperoni pizza in Italy you will get a pizza with only sweet Bell Peppers!
A pizza with only Peppers will not have much taste, so you will be very disappointed.
Peperoni in Italy does not mean spicy salami! Spicy salami is called ‘Salame Piccante’ in Italy!
Often a Pizza with only salame piccante is called a ‘Diavola’. Or find something else on the menu that has salame picante as a topping.
Enjoy your pizza! I love Italian pizza, it is the best!
