When I used to play on an Mac too, I just went into settings, went into mouse options, and then hit enable right click on mouse. You couldn't block hit obviously, but you could still use right and left click.
Fun story: I learned to use hot keys because of a Mac. Shift clicking didn’t work on my keyboard and the scroll wheel was too tiny and too sensitive. So I learned to use hot keys to access my inventory as well as craft quickly

Its possible to use spacebar and shift at the same time, use ur pinky in the shift button then thumb to spacebar if u want to try it.
Using a pinky hurts for people with "petite" hands. I woudl recommend the ring finger..
