    I just hate the umps who eject players or managers for no reason, but at least these guys deserved it

    • @trescojones3692
      @trescojones3692 4 года назад +7

      Actually they deserve it; they get in the face of the umps and use foul language, they insult, some even threaten, they cause unnecessary delays in the game, they distract all involved, they provide a shitty example to youth, I mean the players and managers who do this are hypersensitive, spoiled children who give young players the idea that anything bad is the ump's fault and you deal with it by saying 'fuck this bullshit' 25 times instead of learning to abide by the rules or play better. They should be ejected; the umps are right in ejections probably l90% of the time, because the rules are strict there; the problem is so few take the time to read the rules of the game. If we don't want ejections, a brainless hothead like Bryce Harper has to either learn to control his childish anger, or his team can propose to change the rules. Since after all, the game is all about him.

      Yeah, no. Weaver was actually a good manager, a winning manager. All of these guys have losing records as managers, and only Bell still manages, the rest were jettisoned. Dont tell me Gardenhire was good, either. Lifetime losing record. 6 PO appearances, only made it out of the first round once, then lost quickly in the second round. Bad managers start arguing more trying to shift the blame away. These guys dont belong in the same sentence as Weaver (or Lasorda or Martin) because they were losers trying to save their jobs by arguing everything. Dave Martinez belongs on this list as well.

    Umpires suck. They get A LOT of calls wrong, often affecting the outcome of a game. They’re also WAY too quick to throw someone out of the game. Players and managers are allowed to disagree with a call, and argue, without being thrown out. Umps don’t like that. They think it’s all about them. Hey, umps, it’s NOT! Umps get embarrassed when they’re disagreed with, like it’s a threat to their authority. Umps just suck, and the worst ones offer ruin the game. Disgusting.

    This is so easy to fix; you throw out a Manager and he comes out to argue warn the bench that they need to get the manager off the field, then if the manager continues arguing eject the coach that is in charge. If the arguing continues then you keep ejecting coaches, it would only need to happen once. Baseball is the only sport that allows managers, coaches, and players to argue with umpires.

    • @russs7574
      @russs7574 3 года назад +2

      It's easier to fix than that. Get some umpires with a little thicker skin, and tell them to lose the rabbit ears. Oh, and remind them that nobody buys a $30 ticket to watch them umpire.
      And maybe, just maybe, MLB could start insisting that umpires call the strike zone as described in the rule book....as opposed to each individual umpire having their own personal strike zone.
      MLB umpires make NHL officials look good.

    • @strikehold
      @strikehold 3 года назад +1

      @@russs7574 - I guess we just have to agree to disagree. The umpires are not the problem, it is the over amped coaches and players. I specially like it when a player gets all tough and tries to go after the umpire and others get in their way or grab them, I say let him free and start ringing the cash register up and if he makes contact with the umpire suspend them and depending on the level of contact dictates the length of the suspension.
      As for the $30, no one pays it to see a coach or player make an ass of themselves and the strike zone is what it is, you adapt. And if you want every thing by the rule book there are many rules that would apply; how about the check swing? There is no such rule that states any plane as to be broken, in reality if you go by the book if the batter is attempting to hit the ball it is a strike and the moving of the bat to the ball would qualify as an attempt; STRIKE!
      You fix what is broken, coaches and players arguing with umpire and brawls are stupid and a waste of time.

    • @troywilson9885
      @troywilson9885 3 года назад

      That’s not a good idea and that’s not true either about baseball being the only sport that allows players and coaches argue. Football players and coaches not only constantly argue with officials, they use much worse language on a normal basis. Basketball coaches argue with officials often. Basketball players lift their hands in the air after a foul in what is honestly the baseball equivalent of drawing a line in the dirt. Soccer players do it constantly. Baseball is not the only sport. Baseball is the only sport where officials are very well known for throwing players and coaches out
