Just a reminder that fans attend games to see the PLAYERS not the umpires. If you’re going to hold players to such high expectations, their on field counterparts need to be held to the same standards. An umpire screws up, he’s held accountable just like a player. A player doesn’t touch an umpire, an umpire doesn’t touch a player. A player doesn’t point at an umpire, an umpire doesn’t point at a player.
Although I will admit there were a few instances that I liked where the player did something wrong and he’s not even arguing it. He’s got that look of “that’s right, I did that. And I’ll do it again.”

After exchanging line-up card, don't have another word to say to them. Don't argue balls and strike, check swings nothing. On the other hand don't talk to them, look at them. Don't offer help when they get hit by a foul ball, nothing. all of their dramatics when calling a third strike, all to be a part of the show, BS. Totally ignore them and the BS will stop. They will learn the strike zone, or be reported. Start protesting more games, just to be a thorn in the side. Just don't talk to the umps. YOU MUST BE TOSSED!
Seriously, could we try to create some new rules for these situations?

Surely you could have it that as long as you don't direct it, you can say it? E.g: Screaming "that was a shit call!" while walking back to the bench?

I really wish a manager of a team would tell his player who gets ejected for some manby pamby issue to stay in the game and call the umpires ejection. If the umpire ejectes anyone else, call the entire team off the field and tell the other umps they will not play as long as the home plate umpire is allowed to stay behind the plate. I’m so sick of umpire hijacking games. It’s about the players you jackweed umps, it’s not about you!!

Start rattling their front chickletts in their mouth,, and maybe they will start to call the pitches correctly. It infuriates me how much power the umps have. So soft skinned and a chip on their shoulders. Ever wonder why poor performing umps continue to keep their jobs? Umps, weathermen, and politicians are the three jobs that they can perform poorly and keep their jobs and get raises. Sickening

If an umpire boots a player for balls and strikes arguing and the player is right they should be fined. It would cut down on all this nonsense

Some of these umps cant wait to find an excuse to run a player. Its past time that these so-called umpires need to answer for their terrible calls. They are changing outcomes of the games and ruining baseball altogether. MLB needs to do better like yesterday.

Batters need to shut up and stop taking borderline pitches, Leave it to the umpire to make the call this is what you get, then act like spoiled children in their tantrum. Good role models....NOT!
