MLB players, coaches , and managers need to completely ignore the umpires. Umps want to be a part of the game rather than officials, don't let them be. After exchanging line-up card, don't have another word to say to them. Don't argue balls and strike, check swings nothing. On the other hand don't talk to them, look at them. Don't offer help when they get hit by a foul ball, nothing. all of their dramatics when calling a third strike, all to be a part of the show, BS. Totally ignore them and the BS will stop. They will learn the strike zone, or be reported. Start protesting more games, just to be a thorn in the side. Just don't talk to the umps. I realize that not all of them are bad, but they all belong to the same union and should be treated the same way. Have a nice day.

Just a reminder that fans attend games to see the PLAYERS not the umpires. If you’re going to hold players to such high expectations, their on field counterparts need to be held to the same standards. An umpire screws up, he’s held accountable just like a player. A player doesn’t touch an umpire, an umpire doesn’t touch a player. A player doesn’t point at an umpire, an umpire doesn’t point at a player.
Although I will admit there were a few instances that I liked where the player did something wrong and he’s not even arguing it. He’s got that look of “that’s right, I did that. And I’ll do it again.”

How is 0:48 a "bad ejection"? He threw a 92 mile per hour fastball at the opposing pitchers HEAD!!! That should be an instant ejection EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!
Edit: Also, literally ANY instance of arguing balls and strikes leading to a thrown out player is NOT a "bad ejection". It's well established that arguing balls and strikes is highly likely to get you thrown out. Don't like it, don't argue balls and strikes!!!!

You know, it's really funny. You don't have a lot of other major league sports that have notorious referees or empires that most fans know by name. This doesn't speak well for major league baseball because of the fact that the umps Make questionable calls and there is no one to check them. If they're gonna add a pitch clock, then they need to add a camera to home plate and get rid of the homeplate on ump. There's too much ego.

Jerry Meals had to have been legally partly blind like Angel Hernandez. I read a story where in either 1981 or 1983 when Angel was an A ball rookie umpire in Florida, he was jumped by two drunk angry fans for his bad performance and beaten. The damage resulted in 35% vision loss in one eye. He literally can’t see the low corners. He sued and the settlement out of court in 1986 was a job for life/until retirement.

I love how indignant ARod is after he gets beaned. He's like "Omg you guys, it's so unfair that you don't want me to cheat. I just want to cheat. Chill." Should've thrown at his head. For the sake of the guy who nobody's ever heard of... who had to go work at Jiffy Lube, after he got released from the minor league club, because he never got a chance to go up to the Show, because that piece of shit ARod was there, taking his spot, longer than he would've been if he hadn't cheated.
