I'm honestly surprised some of these umps don't get jumped in the middle of the ballpark after their abysmal performance. They are obviously not being punished by the league, so it's almost like the only ones in a position to fight back are the players with bats in their hands.

If you’re going to hold players to such high expectations, their on field counterparts need to be held to the same standards. An umpire screws up, he’s held accountable just like a player.
