Oda is a genius, at first I thought Lucci getting mad and taking Luffy's bait seemed weird as well as him being so upfront about his intentions; but then I realised that it actually makes perfect sense and that just like Luffy, LUCCI CAN'T LIE!🤣
Which is why when he's undercover, he's a mute and Hattori speaks for him🤯🤣
Bruh.... BRUHHHHHHHH
Your comment is one of the reasons I love One Piece fans. Someone is gonna find something cool that I couldn't.
can't believe i never caught this after like 15 years
@@splitprune man it only clicked for me this chapter and now I’m re-reading Water 7 and Enies Lobby just to see if it was actually obvious the whole time😂
And ofcourse it makes sense that Kaku who gets mistaken for Usopp is lying
This is awesome
Your reaction to Shanks being on Elbaf was hilarious and he is always so hyped up! But luffy and Zoro chilling is the best part
One piece fans are so deprived of Shanks that they go rogue when his name is mentioned, let alone he actually DOES SOMETHING.
*Shanks lifts a finger* OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
He is that guy 😈
@@mintman325 KOL be like:
This comment just got much cooler.
It's not so much that they need Lucci and Kaku's help, but rather trying to fight while protecting them (since they're unwilling to allow helpless prisoners to be killed) was too much of a pain in the ass.
I will say that Egghead is a really good arc so far. Compared to the slower pace of Wano Arc, it is just so refreshing that things are moving quicker. But it is also bittersweet because we are truly in the Final Saga.
I’m fairly certain that the memory bubble is Kuma’s memories and the reason Bonney wasn’t able to move from her position is the same as when you try to run in a dream but you can’t make any ground. It’s a memory so she’s not able to interact with or change anything since it’s ostensibly a movie playing out in front of her.
Yes think of the Pensieve scenes in Harry Potter. They were in Memories but couldn't interact
There's also the element of it being a distant memory of Kuma's. Once we get to the more recent ones that he wants to remember, we see greater detail & see up close.
I love the idea that Lilith is the traitor. Because the joke would be hilarious.
Lilith:”yes it was me”
Vegapunk:”oh that should have been obvious she is the evil part of me after all!”
Straw Hats: “aren’t you supposed to be a genius!?”
Gotta be honest, the moment I saw Dorry, Broggy, Oimo, and Kashi had me extremely emotional. Happy emotional, but so excited. It’s so great to have them back in the story. Also further confirms for me Elbaf is coming. There is no way we can’t go to Elbaf with Dorry, Broggy, Saul, and the Ohara library.
this arc is gonna be a robin and usopp storyline and im all here for it
@@sharkguy6427 I really hope so, but Wano wasn't as Zoro-centric and Egghead hasn't been as Franky-centric as I anticipated. I'm cautiously keeping my expectations lowered.
I’m under the belief that the memory bubble is Kumas and that Kuma swapped his memories out with the Giant Robots on Egghead so Vegapunk could essentially ask and talk with the giant robot on why he climbed the grand line and about their power source. Vegapunk was talking about Hogback discovered how much the soul weighs and talks with Kuma about the weight of the human memory I think that was a foreshadowing moment. Would also explain why the WG is trying to get rid of Vegapunk for what he knows now regardless of what he knew in the past. The power source is probably tied in with some void century stuff.
Pretty goof theory
@@udayjoshi223 did you misspell that or are you insulting the guy?
I actually never thought about that. It makes sense and I like it. Kudos to you if it's something you came up with
@@lEg0l4z I haven’t seen any theories saying this but if they’re out there I wouldn’t be surprised. I can’t be the sole person in the fandom with this thought. It just made sense because Vegapunk has been hand in hand with the WG for years but only recently over poneglyph research being leaked to the WG is he now being targeted. Plus if Kumas memory bubble is in front of Bonney it cannot be in Kumas mind as well. Also another thought is that the Poneglyph research is probably relating to the power source of this ancient robot giant. It only makes sense the transfer could happen when Kuma himself is fully robot and can swap memories with something similar to him.
@@kennedymiyamoto4314 also makes sense if kuma is booted pack to his original programming and is climbing the red line like the ancient robot did.
I had the same reaction to Elbaf! It was so clever of Oda to show us the exterior first and then a close up of the giant kid at the bar. I do find it just a little cheap that Oda plays with scale so loosely. But the reveal worked on me so I guess I can't complain.
Tbf the exterior showed a tavern as big if not BIGGER thant the 2 ships parked there if I'm not mistaken.
I knew it was Elbaf immediately because... vikings and stuff. But I get why some people were a bit slower to figure it out - when you're in the middle of a chapter you aren't always thinking about stuff like that!
The theory I like the most is that there is a secret satellite, that maybe not even the other satellites know about, which is truly the "evil" one. This satellite is basically the Mr Hyde of Vegapunk and further adds to the science fiction tropes references. The second theory I like is the one about the Punk Records becoming sentient. The "physical agent" could be any manufactured clone.
Kidd has Big Mom and Kaido road PGs. However, I'd like to point out that Kidd didn't know he was going to Elbaf.
Yep and it'd make sense as robin saw that there are more organisms to create more vegapunks, punk records is vegapunk brain so it could be sentient, and the other vegapunks have to connect to it thus giving it their personalities of a actual vegapunk.
I don’t think Law gave Kidd Big Mom’s since he only gave him Kaido’s because he was in the raid too. I could be wrong though since it was briefly mentioned at the departure
@@alliew31 he didn't and didn't need to. Kidd had already stolen a copy of Big Mom's on his own the first time he infiltrated her territory. He said so himself.
As far as the traitor, Oda loves the terminator franchise. He has a life size model of the terminator in his work home and based the pacifista off of terminators. So punk records is likely the skynet, that took over.
Skynet could take a "physical" form as we learned about holograms without a payoffs. It is further foreshadow by 5d chess jinbei saying, "Hey, vegapunk? What if the punk records is informed by bad ideals?" As Jinbei knows racism first hand. Vegapunk responded, that won't matter on the pursuit of science. It seems fitting for vegapunk to be punished for his own hubris, common trope for "genius characters"
Additionally, skynet / terminator hinges on a machine evaluating that humans will inevitably destroy the world if left to their own devices. So whats the point, and machines should take over to sace humanity from itself. But the films emphasize hope that humans can and will be better with the freedom of choice, corresponding to one of the core tenants of one piece.
Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure everyone’s reaction while reading this chapter was roughly “F in the chat for Kidd”
I love how far Merphy has come with the series. She doesn’t believe anything she sees anymore 😂😂😂 same here!!!!
I thought the “it could kill you!” from Vegapunk was just essentially a bluff to stop her. I never thought she was in any danger.
I kinda think the "traitor" might be a previously unrevealed S-Flamingo. He's been consistently absent from the shown seraphim. We know Doffy's thing was puppeting. This whole arc has brought up questions about control over people wills and particularly of the seraphim (the intro to the island was Lilith complaining about how their creations are hard to control). An S-Flamingo rebelling and puppeteering a Vegapunk to command the others to kill his creators seems something that's admittedly a bit of a stretch, but I could also see happening. It would also fit the manga's general themes of Will and Freedom as well as Oda's standard for making things that are hard to anticipate but also make a lot of sense in retrospect.
Also having just thought about this, the pit that Vegapunk is in with the CP agents is very similar to the garbage pit in Dressrosa.
Could S-Flamingo being cloned from a Celestial Dragon allow it have some authority over the others?
@@tacorrific I was just having the same thought. Now I want that to be true and am ready for disappointment when it isn't.
@@tacorrific I was thinking this too, but so far there's nothing revealed in the chain of command that relies on celestial dragons. Even in Japanese the list we got had the Gorousei not the Tenryuubito, but I do think if this does come to pass, his lineage may either be used as an explanation for his ability to rebel, or lead to other factors Oda hasn't introduced yet.
I really like the idea but it might be something about cloning a celestial dragon.
the moment this arc turned into a mini murder mystery I got so excited to hear merphy’s thoughts 😭
Agreed!
On the subject of why they need Lucy to win, I think there are two situations. First, the simplest, the Seraphim were attacking everyone, including Lucy and Kaku, who could not defend themselves because they had handcuffs and we all know that neither Luffy nor Zoro are capable of letting an enemy die in such a dishonorable way, so having to defend them all the time would be a waste of time. On the other hand, although Luffy is obviously incredibly powerful at this moment, the Seraphim are not weaklings either: remember, they are versions of the warlords of the in their prime, with Lunaria DNA and extra devil fruits that complement their abilities, So while I personally think the two most powerful Straw Hats can win one on one against them, they are in a rush to help their teammates and the Vegapunks so I don't think any of them are so egotistical to turn down the help.
When you realise that Merphy has once upon a time started her review in One Piece along with other books'reviews..
Now, Merphy is one of the biggest One Piece fans here on YT..
Like, there's no way you won't check her reactions or reviews after reading the recent chapters right?
From a complete newbie in reading manga, to one of the most respected and loved One Piece content creators..
I'm so glad i followed your journey.. your takes on things are actually fun.. i remember one time that there's a certain point where you really wanted to catch up sooner so you can give your own theories too.. and now, here we are.. what a good time to be a One Piece fan..
I wish all the satisfaction would fall upon us and everyone ends the series with nothing but beautiful memories.. imagine how historical it will be, hundreds of millions of people around the world are smiling altogether as we read the final chapter..
I'm sure it being a memory of what has already happened is why Bonney can't interact with anything she's just an observer. Not necessarily a third party's memory.
People have for a long time assumed that Shanks has some connection to Elbaf, and that does indeed seem to be the case. I've also been on that thought train for a good while.
...How did it take me this long to realize that Shanks' oversized sake dish that he had when drinking with Whitebeard makes _perfect sense_ for someone who hangs out at the island of giants??
My thought process behind why Bonney can't get any closer in Kuma's memory is because it's just that, a memory. She wants to go help baby Kuma and interact with him, but she can only be an observer. Seems like a general rule of viewing memories rather than a misdirect that it's not actually Kuma's memories. Just my take!
I thought it was that she forced herself out because she’s scared of seeing it. But then she was brave and reached out again
« It’s not because i have an agenda Jay » LMAOOO
Merphy's headcanons always take precedence over any logic based on what we actually see in the manga. The true hallmark of a proper One Piece fan.
I don’t think the implied narrative here is that Luffy and Zoro need Lucci and Kaku’s help to take on the seraphim, but more a question of time and tactics. Not only did they point out that trying to fight while protecting helpless prisoners made things more difficult, but they heard Nami’s scream and know there are more seraphim around to prey on the weaker crew members. So freeing CP0 is more about getting it over with as fast as possible so they can protect their friends.
Related note, I’m thinking/hoping Nami’s scream they heard was actually her scream of joy when she found Vegapunk’s synthetic diamonds. XD
Yeah, Kid is 100% riding on the high of beating a Yonkou any buying into his own notoriety right now. Facing Shanks is one thing. Heck, facing Shanks and his crew is conceivable too (if I’ll advised). But Shanks, his top officers, AND his grand fleet? Not to mention the giants themselves (which to be fair Kid has no way of knowing they’re allied with Shanks, but if he’s just chilling on Elbaf it’s probably a fair assumption he’s got friends there).
It's not really "you need our help" and more "free us and you won't be burdened with our protection", me think.
Well, Luffy didn't take Kaido down alone. I wouldn't say he's stronger than Kaido. He even had the time to completely recover after being knocked out by Kaido and ate lot of food to do it. Luffy can still get exhausted for using too much power. So there's sense in freeing Lucci and Kaku. NTW. It's implied Beckman took off Kid's arm. And that was pre-TS. Honestly it's kinda impressive even.
Kaido had been fighting since the previous day. He fought big mom for a while, then he fought the akazaya, then the minks, then the worst generation, and then luffy like 3 times.
Yea I think it because of how fluffy took the main portion of the 2nd half of the kaido fight is why people believe he should be above him now when I feel like they are equal or relative to each other in strength after everything kaido and luffy has been through.
The way I see the big mom and Kaido fights is that despite the big mom fight having it’s issues which it does I thought it was fair since Kid and Law didn’t get a break where Luffy got about 3 breaks with the first 10 minute break, then the break where he got knocked out and then got back up and used advanced conquerors and then knocked off the island unconscious and was allowed to eat loads of food to regain strength and then technically got a 4th break but I don’t really count that since it was his awakening and he wasn’t down for that long so in my eyes it’s pretty fair
@@MsQuikly The Kaido v Big Mom fight happened a few days before the raid on Onigashima, no?
Oh, and Yamato also fought Kaido, and Momonosuke bit him.
He fought Big mom the day before and it was a tie, so they partnered up, then the 9 scabbards opened up his scar, then the minks on sulong form, then the worst generation (where zoro tanked a Hakai, the combination movement Kaido and big mom do together that is based on the Hakoku from Dorry and Broggy), then luffy like 3 times, then yamato and momo, then luffy on gear 5... and just then he lost.
The fight lasted for hours until sunrise.
Shanks may have been on Elbaf to get one Road Poneglyph indeed, but primarily he was there, because it is his territory and maybe even his "homebase". This was theorised since waaaay back on Little Garden (which was published more than 20 years ago), when we found out about Elbaf and that the giants are based on north mythology. The connection being, that his ship had a dragonhead and was heavily viking inspired.
And shanks is based off of Tyr
@@gabecisneros9066 True! but i don´t think ppl were making that connection back in the day, at least i never heard of it :D
Shanks had the giant Elbaf cup when he met Whitebeard
I think it’s Kuma’s memory but the reason she can’t get closer is because it’s so traumatic for Kuma.
It is obviously Kuma's memory there's no story reason it wouldn't be, idk what merphy was on💀
I took it as she couldn't reach Kuma because you can't interact with memories you only can watch them, simple as that.
Only other story option is Bonnie's mom's memories? But that would just be an unnecessary level of separation, even with good reason.
I really need this arm story flashback for kid. It's driving me nuts, I feel like he wagered something too
This Kuma Memory thing just flipped a switch and now I have a question. What if part of what Kuma gave Zoro wasn't just the physical pain, but the memory of those wounds, the feelings Luffy had while receiving them? It would cement Zoro's loyalty even further, makes that moment deeper than just a physical sacrifice.
Also the inverse - that Bonney is experiencing Kuma's pain along with the memory. This would explain why her life is in danger by doing this.
26:05 With Wano specifically, I think Oda was playing with it being an isolated country, that's why he starved us for information for so long, and now he is doing the opposite because now things have gone global
I subscribe to the thought that the reason Lucci had the bird speak for him when he was undercover was because he can't lie to save his life, it's also funny to me just how much Luffy has the effect of turning everyone into a petulant child (Law and now Lucci).
23:42 Shanks' birthday and MY birthday! LOLOL
I love that they gave sanji so much emotion in egghead considering he thought he was going to be an emotionless monster in wano; he has his emotions still😭😭
Been following along your journey while also catching up - Love your videos Merph!
I think it’s Bonny’s memories as a kid watching her dad like that and that’s why she can’t move
Maybe some/all her happy memories of her dad as king are false and that’s why it’d be too hard for her
I bet the last Poneglyph aint there BUT that Saul knows how to read Poneglyphs and thats why both Shanks and Kidd are there
When Bonney was unable to get closer in the memories, I interpreted that as she is inside Kuma's memory and no matter what she does, she cannot influence the memory. She can't run up and save the people hurting Kuma, she can't offer comfort, nothing. The memory plays out and she can only observe.
I don't know why but to me, Lucci seems way happier than the first time we met him.
love the excitement and energy! Don't apologize for being a fan 😁
Oda might just love the Harry Potter reference and add another satellite like an unwanted Horcrux created by Voldemort. The Hive mind AI can be the 7th satellite.
Your high energie was awesome, it is why i am subbed to your page. I like seeing people talk about stuff that they love with super energie.
I love videos when your energy is high like this. I feel the same excitement so it's wonderful to watch.
knowing kid is facing down shanks reminded me of the end of wano when kid, law, and luffy were picking log-pose directions. Luffys gut instinct(and kid's too, to be fair) was "THE MIDDLE ONE" which would've been leading to elbaf because that's path Kid eventually takes. If luffy hadn't drawn the short straw the strawhats would be on ELBAF, WITH SHANKS. they would've been having the biggest reunion party ever. Luffy's instincts are really unmatched.
I think Shanks telling Kidd to drop the rubbings can be interpreted in a couple ways.
1. He's been chilling and maintaining the peace for like 20 years, he might not have even cared to get them yet because he knew when the time came he could get them quickly, now he just doesn't have to go to WCI to get it, he can just grab it from Kidd. He also mentions that he hasn't been back to Wano (I Think?), so we can be reasonably sure he doesn't have that one even if he knows it's there.
2. Shanks has all of the Poneglyphs now, he's telling Kidd to drop his because he doesn't want Kidd to go to Laughtale.
Haven’t caught up yet to this in my personal life( only up to the raid on Onigashima but still know all the current story) but I do enjoy watching Merphy’s downward spiral into the wonderful world of oda’s magnum opus. Seeing her gush about the fights now from her first videos is entertaining. Can’t wait to be there with you all at the end. One of us one of us
Shanks was there every step of the way when roger was collecting the rubbing to head to laugh tell.
Congratulations to 400K subscribers Merph. You deserved every one of it.
I love to see a bit of how Shanks deal with being a yonkou, he doesn't ask for tribute and seems to treat everyone from his team as equals, it is such a contrast with the last two yonkous we got to spend time with
Really love that I can look forward to these on break weeks, that works out well because it feels the weekly void
Merph realising it's Elbaf it's literally me 😭
It's very easy who the traitor is! It is Edison because he gave the last order and only edison can change that like you said!
Also we reached Elbaf and the first thing Oda does is references Vicky the Viking in many ways! this will be so much more important!
I love it i love it more more more of those live reactions!!!
I really like how GLR put it:
Lucci: "Yeah, after I'm done, I'm gonna kill you. Then I'm gonna brutally murder all of the 7 Vegapunks, then I'm gonna slowly dissect each and everyone of your crew as they scream for help. Also Stussy... I'm gonna kill Stussy."
Luffy: "Yeah, sure, you can do that catman, if you can beat me... which you can't."
That reaction is iconic it's on Uzumaki Khan level of entertainment
Major congratulations on 400K followers 👏 and I think you'll only ruffle some feathers if you think Kidd has any chance against Shanks, but seeing Dorry with Broggy again was awesome also Luffy showing off his Big D. Yonko energy towards Lucci lol
Big D. Indeed
26:35 I like your energy. Often I need calm streamers, but sometimes I need people with high energy.
And it is lovely that you enjoy One Piece so much. A show I discovered in 2006.
I you didn't notice or don't remember, the final road poneglyph is the one that was one fishman island during Oden's flashback, sometime between Roger's Execution to the present day someone has taken the road poneglyph and moved it somewhere
her saying she can replace her face could also be a way to describe how she got fixed so fast
this high energy was awesome
Love Merphy reactions. Always all over the place 😂
Luffy literally picking the lesser of two evils in this block, weighing between the unknown forces and people they beat twice.
i love the high energy :D
A great way to see the future of one piece is to check which poneglyph each captain have.
Luffy Has 3 poneglyph Zo,WC,Wano
Kidd has 2: WC,Wano
Law has 2: Zo,Wano
So if we imagine that the last one is in Elbaf you can see something like this happen:
Luffy go to Elbaf = 4
Kidd will lose against shanks, since shanks already has Elbaf+probably zo ( he know the people of zo since roger) Shanks now have 4 Poneglyphs too
Now Blackbeard is interesting because if blackbeard beat law he need the one from Whole cake and Elbaf, lucky for him Blackbeard commanders just came back from Whole cake with Pudding (and probably a poneglyph), so the last one he need is Elbaf and that give you Shanks vs Blackbeard everyone is waiting for.
Now you can imagine blackbeard killing shanks taking the last poneglyph (Elbaf) watch the race to the one piece between Blackbeard and Luffy.
Don’t apologize for the energy! It rubs off and some of us need it! :)
I feel like having these post-wano chapters are so absolutely packed and laden with looks to the converging events in the world is excellent as well! Isolationism and the ignorance that comes from splitting away from the progress of the rest of the world were explored heavily in Wano, now that we've left its borders the Straw Hat crew (and the audience) have a much stronger connection to the information of the events happening across the world. Coinciding with the themes of knowledge, and access to forgotten/historical knowledge present on Egghead island and how knowledge is created, gatekept, erased, rediscovered...
I just caught up on the series last night for the first time since I fell in love with the series in 2020, I can't believe how fortunate I am to witness the conclusion of this Epic work of fiction and I'll not tire of seeing the community reaction and analysis of this story both now and for years to come, even after Luffy becomes the Pirate King.
“Are the Kid’s fans gonna be mad at me”
Oh Darling, there are no such things as “Kid’s fans”. There are Kid’s haters and the ones that are fine with him…
I could see Kidd getting some hits in if they really do end up fighting but winning? As Lucci said "FAT CHANCE!"
Merphys line of reasoning has me convinced its York... Just think of the resentment that would build up if that was your job lol and no one pays attention to her so she could easily get away with doing sneaky sabotage missions
I thought it was insinuated by the Stella having been in lock up for months, that the Stella that the crew has met so far is an imposter, which is why the other Vegapunk “couldn’t believe his eyes”
Your enthusiasm in this dark/horror OP is adorable miss merph
"Are the Kid fans going to come after me?"
...
What Kid fans?
Did you see Randy Troy’s chapter reaction? If not he talks about what if Sunny-kun gets damaged from the 100 marine ships near egghead, and when the crew gets to elbaf it’s basically a reunion for majority of the crew, and Franky sees the Oro Jackson then possibly fixes Sunny-kun with the Oro Jackson.
Those are Kuma's memories, Bonney is in a dreamlike state as an observer that can't interact with the people of the past.
About the Vega Punk traitor being AI, it actually makes a lot of sense...there's "another" VegaPunk that has been overlooked, Stella's own top head Punk Records!
If you think about it makes sense, the arc is about technology both the Utopic and Distopic sides and AI overreach is a big topic.
And you can fill the blanks with what we already seen: first technology we saw were cyborgs, one of which was roguish and disobeyed orders, then was Holograms, which can be seen as a physical form and Atlas even showed a tech that could physically interact with the holograms, the defense system turning off from outside of the control room and some cams turning off while others being destroyed.
It's also possible to assume that the Seraphs recognize by sight whoever gives them orders and as such, it is possible that PunkRecords used holograms to pretend to be Stella and give orders to the Seraphim, I think it is even possible that it made backdoor access in the programming secretly to have a higher authority in the command chain
And making the Records to be the enemy to be defeated you fix the future issue of the Punks still being connected with each other, limiting their freedom of self, which would be fitting for Luffy to fix it by punching it really hard.
The thing about the ponegliph is not only where they are, but being able to obtain it if you don't want to risk so much, like the big mom one, you should go to her territory and start a fight or something, like Luffy or surely Kurohige, and the Wano one in the end was tenguyama who showed it to the crew. I think obtained from Kid seems a little easier haha
Atlas
Satellite
Atlas is an inner satellite of Saturn( Saint Jay Garcia) which was discovered by Richard Terrile in 1980 from Voyager photos and was designated S/1980 S 28. In 1983 it was officially named after Atlas of Greek mythology, because it "holds the rings on its shoulders" like the Titan Atlas held the sky up above the Earth.
10:57 I like the critical note about Atlas, never say never indeed 🤔😏🤣
2:25 Even Robin told him not to, that has to have hit hard for the mosshead xD
hahaha your arguments for which vegapunk is the traitor is basically "it's always the one you most medium suspect"
Punk Records is the mastermind, pun not intended. And it is using the light creatures mentioned at the beginning of the arc to do everything
I've been reading One Piece since I was 13 (I'm 28 now) and have Always been hype/intrigued by Shanks. If his first showing is just having him lose to hype Kid (who already has A Lot of hype from last arc!) I will be Very Upset no matter the circumstances. I'd assume I'm not the one in the same boat, so I think Kid's about to (Justifiedly) have a rough time.
Never apologize for having too much energy, Merphy. It's frankly a joy to see how thrilled you are about what's happening and I certainly share your enthusiasm.
I knew they were in Elbaf the moment I saw the classically Nordic building in the first panel. I also screamed.
25:30 I think the poneglyph shanks is referring to is the one found within wano that luffy kidd and law all got access to at the end of the arc, I don't think shanks has this one because wanos borders were closed
What if Shanks isn’t asking for the poneglyph because he doesn’t have it. What if it can also be read as “give up on being pirate king and go home, or fight me right now”? I am just spit balling, but it feels like it could be more of a challenge
Clips from your reaction are great!😁✌️
Great timing! I just started studying 5 minutes ago so it's time for a break 😅
Didn't they release Kaku and Lucci mostly because they felt it wouldn't be right to let them die while cuffed, and they'd end up having to protect them? So they decided to free them for that reason
Oda going to write a master piece after this break. Also I love that we are getting so many story lines all at once. Like Oda got to wrap up so many things from sabo getting blown up maybe. Garp getting Koby back. One piece is at a perfect time again again I’m so excited. ALSO CONGRATS ON 400K woooo
You know whats worse? I feel like Garp will die trying to save koby. I have this sinking feeling Garp will pass away to get Koby back.
Merphy: (reaction to the last chapter as an intro)
Me: (likes video)
The Rode Ponagliph that we dont know about was on Fishman Island when Rogers crew found it. It’s been moved and unless Shanks was the one to move it, he wouldnt know
Kid has the Wano and whole cake rubbings he could get them but with kid arriving it’s just easier to take them off him
Reasons for the teamup
1 Cool Crossovers
2 Cuz lugging around captives is more trouble than its worth knowing they can beat the CP0 guys if they want
Merphy forgetting that S-Hawk had Blackbeard shook sounds like agenda to me 👀😂
Stella is the 8th Vegapunk. Look at the bottoms of his feet when he's captive.
No, it's definitely Kuma's memories. In an SBS, Oda showed how the Shichibukai looked as kids, and the one in the memory is a spitting image of Kuma.
My future events predictions are fight with black beard > compete for the one piece with shanks > get the one piece and become pirate king > fight the WG where most people are probably thinking pirate king would be the last thing, buuuuuuut I think we're going to need the title pirate king to command the world's crews to rebel.
I love the jacket of the live reaction
There's two perfectly good reasons why Shanks might want Kid's poneglyph rubbing. Explanation the 1st, it's just a power play. He's saying that if your gonna back down from me here then you don't need this rubbing any way. Or obviously I'm gonna be Pirate King so you don't need this. Explanation the 2nd, Shanks does know generally where all the Roads are but can't easily access them. Zou is impossible to find if you don't know the way for example and Big Mom's Road was moved to Whole Cake Island from some place else in addition to being deep in another Emperors territory so from his POV stealing Kid's copy may just be easier.
maybe the brain in egghead or the organs in the tanks adquire awareness of itself, the herarchy diagram shows that the original vegapunk is higher than the satellites, so if it is really vegapunk's brain, technically it would be above them and perhaps that is why vegapunk and pythagoras were surprised, they did not expect that the brain could become aware
