I just defeated Ganon this morning and watched the ending, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Like we never truly complete Breath of the Wild, and I agree I think it's foreshadowing to BOTW2
it's not foreshadowing, the game just brings you back to the moment before you defeat the calamity... also you did kill calamity ganon... the villain in botw2 is ganondorf, not calamity ganon
This ending is no doubt proof that you will not carry over the divine beast traits (Mipha’s Grace, Revali’s Gale, Daruk’s Protection, or Urbosa’s Fury) over to the sequel. I figured it would have been obvious to some people but for lore sake here is your reasoning

well, you can, your load file get a star that tell you end the game, and from then on, in the map, it appears the % of the game completed, so you know how much to discover are there yet

Honestly, I'm glad I just finished the game and watched this. This wasn't as great as I thought it would be. It's awesome. Just not amazing as an extra ending you have to traverse Hyrule for. It's a little extra. There's no real wow factor tbh.
I wasnt about to do all that, so I just beat the game without the memories but that is a pretty awesome scene. I came in thinking I wasnt going to like this game, but man I was fucking wrong.
It just reloads you in front of sanctum. Your save will have a star showing you beat ganon, but it will basically start it back to before you even walked into sanctum and started fighting ganon. "Defeat ganon" quest will still show as needed completed. So yes. Yoga still out there. Game puts ganon right back where he was. Then you can do any remain side quests. Until you get 100 percent, but even still after you defeat ganon, and get back to the main menu, you'll again be right outside sanctum with "defeat ganon" still as an active quest.
to get all memories u need to get urbosa's associated memory, and since this is the all memories ending, kohga would have been defeated cuz riju wears the thunder helm and link remembers urbosa cuz of their similarities
I kind of agree. He was just immune to damage. Once you time the dodge or hit him at the right moment he's so easy to kill. I had tougher times with the Lionels at times. The game was great. Don't want to obsess over anything else though. 100 Hours, 80 shrines, most gear, upgrades, all areas and around 120 Korok seeds is enough.

Looks like Link memories has been restored rescuing Zelda sealed and defeated calamity ganon they saved Hyrule but they failed to protect Hyrule the king and the champions
Unfortunately, memory #2 glitched out for me and doesn't register as found in the memory section of the menu. I was able to finish the quest, though, which is weird. Sadly, it seems that little glitch was enough to stop the "King and champions" cinematic. Oh well, I know I finished it all, so, that good enough lol
Wtf I didnt get these cutscenes at all... I just pressed 'skip' when the casting credits rolled but idk whether it skipped all these cut scenes too. I didn't get all the memories

I would have given this game 5 stars BUT the fact there's no game after you defeat Gannon, it just reverts to the autosave, is absolutely ridiculous. 3 stars from me.
@@uncannedspaghetti breath of the wild 2 is coming out in may. The reason you cannot progress more in the game is because the story of the original BOTW has been finished, but it will be picked up again in BOTW 2.
Am I the only one who thinks the best way to play is Japanese voices, English subtitles? It's quite clear to see that it is animated with Jap voices in mind. It's even more obvious in the TotK intro. Also, they just sound so much more alive in Japanese. Zelda's voice in English especially is a little too... fake and overly British. Inanimate.

I love this game man, but tbh Ganon was a weak af. I thought he was gonna be much more difficult than the others.
