In his journal, he revealed that he believed the stories about Link beating all the hylian knights at age four. He always knew that Link was a great fighter, he just thought that he was better. And he had good reason to feel that way, after all, the Champion's Ballad memory about him clearly shows that he was almost a force of nature!

I admit, other than Mipha's route, Revali's cutscene kinda made me want to tear up. You can hear his proud voice somewhat shrink when he sees Zelda calling to him. It just feels like he's sad seeing that his friend had to leave after not seeing him for so long.
I’ve heard that because of link’s bland reactions, revali never got to be friends, and was rather disappointed. HE JUST WANTED A FRIEND😭😭

Ok. So. 1 Revali babytalks Medoh And ThatS the most important thing ever. 2. He says the princess has been waiting, but clearly he’s been trapped for a long time too. 3 tHE PAT PAT when he’s talking to Medoh.
4 Revali wanted to get to know Link, but Link has already gone silent. Coping mechanisms forced him to seem aloof and like he didn’t care about people. Link had pressure put on him from a young age. Now who else seems unlikable, puts pressure on himself and has to live up to the expectations put on him because he’s a prodigy? Link had Mipha and his other friends. Revali isn’t really seen to have friends at all.
In conclusion- I have gone in depth on the psychology of Revali and he was simply coping with the expectations of those who put him on a pedestal by being cocky and arrogant instead of letting them all see him cracking under the pressure.

He’s my favourite. I cried at his divine beast’s theme when he sent out the SOS late, and halfway through the song, it plays a heartbeat flatline. Then I cried again at the freed divine beast cutscene.

I loves the Revai's theme, I think that is one of the best themes of the game, but I feel that the Revali's quest is not so emotive like the other champions quest. Also, the Revali's quest is the shortest quest in the game. I mean with Mipha we have the story of she and her father, and her relationship with Link. Daruk is so emotive when he sees to yunono and both smile. With Urobosa we have the relationship with Zelda. But with Revari we dont have that connection with other characters in the game.
Well, he did seem to be more distant. He seemed annoyed by the other's presence all the time in the memories.
I feel like Revali is more sort of a lone wolf. In his journal he wanted to be befriend Link but because of Link's assumably aloof demeanour, it steered Revali away thus giving Link a hard time all the time lol. But Revali is like that teacher who's an asshole to you but truly wishes for you to be the best.

Yeah I saw that and I was like, 'Wait, was that how it always is?' I was trying to remember what I saw when I unlocked Medoh. The moon looks awesome in the background, perfectly framed. I thought it was written into the cutscene.
You save Revalis life, he thanks you in the best way possible. Actually being nice.
1:54 - 2:00 I was playing with the Japanese dialogue and thought, "This makes the game so anime." After Link landed on the ground after jumping, I instinctively did that "stare at the ground and quickly look up" thing they always do and laughed so hard when Link did it at the same time.

From what I could tell, Revali was the only one to be annoyed by Link returning after a century whereas Mipha, Daruk and (possibly) Urbosa were pleased to see him again; am I mistaken in that assumption?
He def was stand offish, I see it as a rivalry among knights of the princess.
i think you're good, that's a good assumption man. but you'll notice that he becomes more impressed with link's ability and eventually acknowledges his skill as a warrior, which is why he blessed Link with his special ability and prays for his success in stopping Ganon. i think that Revali is a good guy, but he's not all buttery and nice with it. he's more of a jackass that most people love, like Vegeta or Shadow

If Link speaks to Impa after freeing all four champions, she says that she sensed that they were all overjoyed to see him again. And why wouldn't they be? Even if they all hated Link to death, they would still be happy just to be freed from the Blight Ganons'!

He mightv been arrogant, but before Link departs he's thinking about the princess saving, and after Links gone he's thinking in the journey of Link and wishing him the best.
I loved all Champions, but Revali holds a place in my heart. Honor bound till the end, and even if he didn't show it, he cared about everything except himself.
THAT'S, how you write an amazing character.

Revali may be a jerk, but he's a misunderstood lovable jerk.
You know, I used to look at him the same way most people do. Egotistical, a jerk, pretty much a narcissistic dude with an awfully sheen coat of feathers because he spends every other millisecond preening himself...
But when I defeated Vah Medoh and freed his spirit? God, I swear my SOUL cracked.
He's just a misunderstood birb who just wants someone to look up to him.. and was kind of a jerk to Link when he became a Champion because Link stole the spotlight from him, all because he was born with the blood of the Hero of Hyrule, who could wield the sword that seals the darkness. Sure, Link was an expert swordsman, even as a child, but Revali.. Revali wasn't born into a higher status or given a powerful skill at birth, no. He was born into a place where hierarchy didn't exist and the people who were at the top were the ones who honed their skills to a fine, sharp point. You don't inherit the top spot here in Rito Village. You have to work for it. He trained day and night to master the art of the wind and how to create an updraft to soar into the air, and yet he was placed on the sidelines to act as a sidekick to Link because Link was given a higher status than him for his hero blood, even though he didn't do as much as Revali did to get the spot (not saying Link didn't do anything, I'm just saying that Revali did a lot more from what I've seen. Don't get me wrong, I still love Link and all, but right now I'm just trying to show that my tsundere Ravioli birb isn't being a jerk for no reason other than his pride. There's a difference between talking like a jerk and being a jerk). He got jealous and slightly resented Link. I mean, wouldn't you feel invalidated if you trained day and night to master something, and then find out other people inherited it or was born with what you worked so hard on to achieve? What did they do to earn it? (Literally be born.)
He gave off an air of being higher so he could feel like his existence was be validated and had purpose.

Not gonna lie. Coming back here while playing AoC is even more sad than the first time I watched this 😢
People tend to regard wind blight Ganon is the easiest, but for me I found it the most engaging fight… the other ones had a lot of waiting around for the blights to attack, but with WB, you were constantly on the move. Not hard, but certainly a fun one. Cinematic too, with all the explosions on a fantasy air ship.

revali truly was like every bully that becomes the main character’s tsundere friend in every fucking nickelodeon show ever.
May favorite character in the game. When you start the fight against Windblight Gannon Revali claims that he was almost victorious in his battle against the blight. And I believe him. Revali is stuck-up and cocky but the warrior is incredibly skilled.
Keep in mind, the blights were meant to counter each champion. My best guess is Revali got caught in one Windblight’s whirlwinds and then hit him with the lasers from the little things it calls upon

Because we don’t see the Champions’ spirit until the Divine Beast’s respective blight Ganon is gone and Link starts up the main control unit, I wonder if not were the bodies destroyed so there so the Champions couldn’t try to escape even after Ganon sent the blights, their spirits were sealed and the seal started weakening as Link worked on reactivating the terminals and couldn’t be fully broken until the blight was defeated. Just a theory and I know it probably doesn’t make sense

Does anyone find that Kaneli is similar to Kaepora Gaebora? Maybe there is a theory that Kaepora Gaepora was some form of a Ruto back in Ocarina of Time? And now he is reincarnated as Kaneli - leader of the Ruto?

Kaepora Gaebora is the owl from OoT. Those who've played Skyward Sword knows Zelda's father has the same name. The gossip stones at the Sacred Forest Meadow in OoT back this, saying the owl is thought to have the soul of an ancient sage. Heck, even her father's eyebrows and facial appearance resembles the owl, showing they are indeed one and the same.
It’s actually more hinted that Raru, the sage you first meet after the seven year time skip, is Kaepora Gaebora

people have got to start realizing that revali lost because rito have shit night vision and during his fight it was dark. also it was raining so no bomb arrows, and mind you, revali survived the longest hence the sos signals in the divine beast themes.
@@nosoul266 Revali believed that he didn't need help, which is why he sent out the sos signal last. Where as the other champions didn't care if they were to weak to defeat the blight ganons, as long as they made it out alive
@@KleevesDoesStuff well i thought it would be obvious that he was too proud to send the signal out earlier. but he did survive the longest because of the timing of when the s.a.d signals start. that’s when the blights killed the champions and corrupted their divine beasts
