I watched this in the cinema at the time and then explained it to my friends who thought it wasn't a real movie.

It's one of the most unique concepts for a movie, I'd say that Oscar was the best example of how power corrupts a person.

I find it hilarious that the people where the monsters are are just like "Oh God what the fuck is that!? Its destroying the city!" And the it writes a message basically saying sorry my b won't happen again then a robot shows up and starts messing with people and the monster come back and defends them which was probably super confusing to them

Honestly this movie surprised me it was a lot better then expect and presented serious topics well! I really liked the twist it threw and overall a good movie.

This movie did a good job in combining topics that normally aren't put together
At the end, he did not beg to be put down, HE DEMANDED the "bitch" put him down. In other words, even at that point, he thought he was in control.
Thats what you do, yell someone the definition of a female dog then stay dominant, oh and then get killed.

Have you ever noticed that when a guy has several partners, people often think more highly of him but when a woman does it, they look down on her. She broke up with her first boyfriend, and the second was a rebound tryst. There is no evidence in the movie she had sex with his friend at the party.
In the beginning she was an alcoholic and that does lead to her having sex with other since someone drunk does not have a lot of control. In the beginning, she was out of control, but towards the end, either despite the two, or perhaps because of them, she learn to take control.
@@roberthicks1612 No I think guys who have several partners that they don't care about at all and who they manipulate for material gain are trash as well. Notice how I'm using the same yardstick. Also if you didn't think she was leading on and friendzoning litterally every guy in the movie then we were watching different movies. I never said she slept with them, don't put words in my mouth. The bartender was hot on her so was the other dude. She knew this. She flirted with them both. She also kept calling her ex and preventing him from moving on. Rewatch it. The part about her killing people was a bit toungue in cheek. She does try to save them. After being so drunk that she falls all over the the place showing their lives mean very little to her at that point. But yeah she starts drinking less. In the real world though had she driven into and killed someone while drunk she would be in jail. No redos. Also I'm not sexist which you are implying. Women can have as much sex as they like. When it's done for gain then it leaves a bad taste. As I said before roles reversed it would leave an even worse taste.

Yes she partied with people, both men and women, because of her alcoholism and as a result, ruined her relationship with the man she loved.
People that think that just because a woman is having a drink with the guys is trying to lead them on are using out dated male centric views. Its the kind of thinking that says its ok for men to rape women they see wearing shorts and a tube top because "she was asking for it". Women can have friends that are male and not be trying to get into their underwear, just as men can have female friends without trying to sleep with her. You need to get out of your medieval thinking and get into the 21 century.
Wish more film makers would take chances on original concepts like this
I absolutely agree. Great art and storytelling = excited about movies and television. The problem is the ad marketing and campaigning is usually spent on the more dull, boring, same old rehash unoriginal bs.
I have a fuck tone of ideas o grabbed things from different movies and shows to create my own idea . Along with 12 others and the bad guy or hero that i have the storys focused around get thr best armor your going to find
I thought that this film was absolutely amazing!! Such an original concept which makes it a very unique movie. The message apologising by the monster was a brilliant concept. So many original ideas in this film. Full credit to the makers, actors and computer graphics people. Well done.

I watched the first 60seconds... than bought the movie on amazon.. watched it... and now i am back. Tbh: I like the movie and the way it portrays addiction and toxic relationships.

This movie was great, but the only bad writing I see is Oscar. How could he go from that super nice guy to that toxic evil villain in the middle of the movie all of a sudden?! It's like he has a split personality! Like a Two-Face situation! What the heck?!

When watching this movie for the first time I just ended up thinking. If a crowd was watching the robot get thrown. How many noticed that the robot got thrown at the exact time gloria Made the throwing gesture.
