Regarding presentation, when Jairoop just opened they packed the roti in a brown paper bag and for some reason it made the roti tastier.
There's something about food served in paper that just hits different...
I never had Jairoop.. gotta try😂
The best Surinamese rotis are not store-bought. They are served at Indian weddings and prepared old school, on a wooden stove. That alone gives the best flavor.
I'll have to go back and try one 😊
I like how u are correcting urself. Raproom hahahahaha. Roopram . Love from 🇸🇷🇸🇷
Have you heard of Chris Roti Shop? According to many, me included, Chris has a better flavor than both Jairoop and Roopram. He’s another brother too and also had a falling out I heard. There’s also Joosje, another one, but that one doesn’t attract much customers…also another brother and a rival.
Ahh... the controversy continues! 😀 I'll have to check out some of the competing brother-rival shops 😎
Wist nooit dat het ook een broer was...
Hello, go to Rambali. Nice roti there
Thanks for the recommendation!
Yes, Rambali and Nurjahan are waaay better. Nurjahan takes 1st place imo. And the quality of both is way better than roopram. Roti is also best if you eat it right away at the shop
Are there doubles vendors in Suriname?
No unfortunately
@@tomatenkrabbeny’all need some doubles
I've lived in suriname for 21 years and never heard of this controversy and didn't even know about Jairoop him being brothers with roopram.
Now you have to try both and give your opinion on which is better!
🇸🇷
I want to come to Suriname
You should. You won't regret it.
