I ran over ran over the 8in1 version of this while it was in a tool bag with my work van. Just a minor blemish on the shaft still fully functional. Use it everyday. As to the standard version with ball detent bit retention I believe the bits hold better over time because the ball is not under pressure while the bits are in storage as with other types. It really is a well thought out tool.

This screwdriver has had a favoured spot in my toolbox for over 15 years. I use it 3-5 times/day. Please do a review on the other Mega-Pro sets. However, when doing your video edits, you're subject of the video is out of frame so we cannot see what you are referencing.

They do make good stuff. I just cant get on board with the proprietary bits. I went with the Wera version of this kind of driver, with the extendable shaft.
Take a look at the one Megapro made for LTT… its pretty great, but its ratcheting.

I haven't tried any of their ratcheting drivers, it looks like @ProjectFarm has tested that one, awesome

For the last year on Amazon it's been right around $24 USD ($32.88 CAD), so I'd say that's a fair price
