What a clever design! I like the 'push through' feature with the bits as well as the hex attachment at the base for applying extra leverage. This tool junkie will have to get one of these. Thanks for a great review, Jake!
Thanks for watching. There are companies starting to copy their way of making drivers so you will soon see it all over, I think their patent ran out very recently or will very soon.

I have had one for 15 years and it's in perfect shape. I am getting a new set for myself so I can leave one in the garage and one in the house. I bought another set for my son for Xmas.

As a carpenter I prefer this type of driver
I started off as a carpenter too. I was even working on my cabinet makers apprenticeship before I got married but then my knees stopped me.
I still call my self a carpenter but these days I'm an Apprentice Training Adviser/Assessor, I started my time when I was 15 in 1985, after completing my high school certificate, I love my job visiting young carpenters on site & sharing my knowledge. Luckily my body gets a rest as I have dodgy knees & back, not as bad as you by the sound of it brother. Keep up the good work, God bless
These are great. I use them alon with my large Ifixit case and Bahco ratcheting screw diver..I would say I like these a bit more but once you get a good ratcheting screw driver its hard to go back. 😅 These are uaually handier as I have a few of them and I tend to misplace my Bahco allot.😑
I am quite happy with mine, but I wish the bits were a little harder, about a year after making this video one of my torx bits twisted a bit just behind the tip.
How have these held up for you?
I love these, I have two of them, the only thing weird is that my Teeny turner does not have torx bits... Mine has Robertson #0 and #1 bits, still useful but I'd like to get T6 and T8 bits for it, I'll give them a call .

I went on their web site and it seems that the Canadian model has square bits and the American (USA) model has Torxs, go figure...

the tiny one has great bits for knife maintenance, but not if your hands are XL, then it gets fiddly.
They look like the quality is on par with B-Square driver sets. Man, I tell ya, the guy that does the hosting on this RUclips channel, will never be as good as Jake from Canadian Cutting Edge. ;-)

I really like that they are Canadian and do a very good product. I would like them to create a line of harder tip drivers, maybe S2 tool steel instead of just chrome vanadium.

Yes, no problem. The small stubby screwdrivers have smaller bits so you could not use a screwdriver bit adapter for them, like you can with the full size screwdrivers but if you have a cordless screwdriver the has an adjustable chuck then you could use even the smaller ones. But the full size screw driver bits will work definitely work in any cordless screwdriver.

pet peeve: long bits that have a shaft wider than the head. can't use them to disassemble things with recessed screws.
It is often challenging to find drivers that are suitable for that specific need. Generally one must find a traditional set of drivers and not multi bit drivers for that scenario.
it is needlessly challenging to find them. they're only made that way to cut down machining/cost, even though a fully turned down shaft would be more versatile and functional. as with many other things I think it's better to seek out the best thought out tool
Wera, Wiha, and I think Felo all make sets with turned down long bits, and handles that go with them. KC Tools currently has the Wiha blades on sale. I am curious whether these drivers would hold them. I have one of the Wera Kraftform sets with their power blades, as well as extra blades of the same sort from Wiha. So far, they all work great, and I think they are the best replacements for regular screwdrivers. The bonus is that you can use a cordless drill for many electronics applications with them, which is really why I sought them out. I agree that there is really not much benefit to long blades with the hex all the way down, personally. These power blade sets are so nice, I really wonder why they aren't in more people's hands. If anyone knows if they comfortably fit in the style of handle in this video, I am really curious.

I have had them for years. The problem is the bits rust out really quick.
The oldest ones I have are about a decade and they have no rust at all. Must be somewhat related to the fact that I live in dry Alberta.
Most good tips are plain steel. They just need to be kept away from moisture or well oiled. A light, neutral is easy to deal with. I personally use Mineral oil, because it is benign and easy to get.
