If there is 2 sets of terminals , but the amp is a mono block amp then those terminals connect to the same thing inside of the amp so it would be the same as working together in one terminal if you put them separate . Some amps have more connection spots so you don’t have to try to cram 2 sets of wires in. If it’s a 1 channel amp though it will not be separate

You should be pretty satisfied with the increase in power and the better subs and 2 dual 4 is the way I would go. I had 2 dual 2 wolfram subs but only cause it was all they had in stock the .5 ohm was a little rough on the electrical though.

Depends on if it is dual voice coil or single, but you would either have to buy a single to double input has a post then 2 holes . Or use a box terminal and connect all wires to go together into the one terminal on the amp for both sides
Hey I just had a Guy install my subs they are dual 4 ohm speakers wired down to one ohm connected to my monoblock amp and when it was connected to amp subs would just pop and not getting no play out of them and they're brand new never been hooked up the guy said that my amp was bad but it was new also do you have any idea of what could be the problem
Depends on electrical on true rms output of that amp, if you have 2 subs that are booth dual 4 ohm you can wire them like this to 1 ohm and get whatever 1 ohm output is for that amp so around 500 watts to each sub at 1 ohm

And you wire them to 1 ohm your amp will output whatever it’s 1 ohm rating is so if that would be 1000 you would figure each sub would see around 500 each if they are rated for 750 rms each then 500 would be super safe. Now it is possible to burn a sub up or blow a sub up without over powering it, for example you can have a sub that is rated for 1000 watts and only have a 200 watt amp and still blow the sub if the gain is turned all the way up and clipping dirty power and also voltage drop from poor electrical in vehicle can also be an issue but at 1000 watts your all good should be no power drop issue and as long as you gain on amp isn’t cranked all the way up and distorting you will be perfectly fine
It all depends on how much power you plan to run on them, there is a chart somewhere that shows what size is recommended , I always used 12 gauge and 10 gauge ofc wife

If your wanting to use 1 amp I would suggest something 4500-5500 Watts rms wolfram has some new amps that are decent priced, I also recommend skar amps, dc audio, and sundown

question. i have a 1 ohm 1 input amp and 2 dual coil 4 ohms subs. as i understand it. they want you to make your 4 ohms to be 1 ohms if your amp is a 1 ohm. if you understand what i mean. is that correct?
I have it like that but at the amp it says 0.00 on the multimeter but if turn the wires around it will say negative 4 but if i disconnect it says 1 ohm any ideas why this is?
If your checking at the amp when it’s all connected it could be reading off , if the subs show 1 ohm when disconnected the impedance of the subs is good

I really don’t remember why I switched the wolfram out with the skars, I think I had the skars first, and that box in the video was built for them going off of the specs for the skars so it played better with them in it, the wolfram moved more air though, I gave them to my nephews they each got one to put in there vehicles they still have them. @@Garza713tx ok, this depend on if they are 4 ohm single voice coil or dual voice coil if they are dvc and you wire them one way you get 2.6 ohm and if you wire them the other way you end up with 6 ohm if they are singe voice coil you can get 1.3 ohm or 12 ohm .

No problem and thanks, if ya go to google and type in what exactly you are looking for for example “ 2 dual 4ohm sub wiring diagram” and click images it should pull up charts showing every possible way to wire it and what ohm load it will end up at. Some monoblock amps have more than 1 set of inputs as well the skar I was useing had 2 positive and 2 negative terminals but they connected on the inside the amp.

If you hook all positive together to amp and all negative to amp. Or jump from positive to positive and go into amp from first speaker and do the same on negative with 4 speakers 8 ohm you will only be able to get down to 2 ohm . If you are talking about regular door speakers that are 8ohn single voice coil

lolo ent no, 2 dual 2 subs can be wired to 4ohm, 2 ohm or .5 ohm the only way you can wire 2 2ohm subs to 1 ohm is if they are single voice coil subs. I have other videos with some dual 2 subs wired to .5 ohm. And if someone had 2 dual 4 subs they would probably be more willing to use a little wire than to buy another set of subs to save 4ft of wire the price difference would be made up quickly. But yea there is ways to accomplish the same ohm load with less wire on these subs I just prefer to wire this way for equal power rather than going in one side. But typically whenever you decide you want speakers you will figure out how many you will be useing and say ok I have room for 2 or 4 and then figure out how many you can of what ohm load to be wired to 1 ohm usually that is the desired load as it is safe for most amps rather than .5 and if you are at 2 ohm u won’t get full power potential from 1 ohm stable amp. But to answer your question you would need 2 single voice coil 2 ohm subs to wire to 1 ohm as simple as possible but there are other differences when going from single to dual .

You need to be more spacific the duel 4ohm sub you wired parallel and the other the same then you parallel them both to get 1ohm
