Straight forward and easy to follow. Now hopefully this same method will work with 4-4ohm double chambered box enclosure. Thanks again My Man much appreciated.
So glad you showed how to connect them to an amp with 2 channels. Most videos dont or have both + and - going into only one channel... which can get confusing if you have a 2 channel amp. Thanx again.
mannnnn my DIAGRAM that came with the AMP fu****D me all uppp, IT WAS RIGHT.... but i was looking at it wrong... this helped me out with series parallel wiring!!! when time was starting to run thin for me THANKS!!!!
Hey what's up I just got your dB15 6000w, how would you get both subs ( R2 w12D4 ) to run off the amp at 2 ohms? Because the wireing digram shows the same thing for both 2 and 4 ohm
hi there, i have 8 ohms above amplifier, now i have 2 sub dvc 4ohms, is there any chance to make it 8ohms wiring together? or the series mode each is the only way? tnx for answering...
Do coils lose impedance for years my 4 dual 4ohn subs wired to final impedance of 2ohm now only read 1ohm amp keeps smoking amp is 1ohm stable but speaker out put for 1ohm are at each end but i use for 2ohm at outputs next to each other if you get what i mean
Easy most sub boxes have separate ports start wiring one sub power to power ground to ground in the wall drill a hole & pass other wires through there & again power to power ground to ground & you'll only have one power & ground for the amp specially ideal for a single ch mono block class d amp you just gotta make sure subs are 4ohm dvc which they could only be wired to 1 ohm 2ohms & 8ohms dual 2 ohm Dvc subs can be wired to 0.5 ohms 2ohms & 4 ohms
@@AlmightyyCres yes but it don’t look as good. On the inside of the box the port divides the sides run it back and forth behind the port. Pretty simple but you will probably see the wire at the back of the port from the front of the box when looking at the speakers. But you will have to have something to keep the wires from rattling because there will be a lot of pressure in the box while the speakers are playing.
I’m sorry I have a jl hd 750/1 and have a 13tw5 2 ohm sub but my box has room for two. Should I just get another 13 2ohm or can I get a 13 4 ohm? Don’t know what’s best. Hope you can help me.
Nothing like a good multimeter to check speaker ohms first, wire it up then check it at the box terminals, first time wiring dvc 4ohm to 2ohm,I would have wired 1ohm but dont trust my old infinity 611a lol
I have 2 10in 4ohm Dual coil subwoofers and a 1000 watt 4 channel Amp and using as bridged which speaker wire configuration should I use? The AMP can go to 2ohms?
One of the best videos.Straight to the point and very instructional for any first-timer
How do you hook up the speakers to an amp when the bridge?

Gonna try the method before last, mono amp with 2 speaker outputs & dual sub box with dual outputs!! Going for 4ohm hopefully everything goes well
Thank you for making it simple and easy to understand

So as far as wire a four ohm sub down too one ohm if my box has two terminals do i just use one side?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Thought you checked impedance with speakers facing up……not down. Doesn’t that affect the reading??

How do you hook up 2 2 ohm dual voice coil , to a mono block 1 ohm
But how do you keep those connected when you put them in the box

I'm not 100% sure but if u have 2 dvc 4 ohm subs they can only run at 1,4,or 8 ohms I'm not entirely sure but I think that's how it is
what is that 16 gauge lmao
