Hey Micah, that one that you thought was bass was a Gag Grouper. They actually are born offshore and come inshore to grow. Once they get 10 inches or so, they go back offshore

I caught my second walleye ever last night while catfishing it ate a live bluegill that was about 6 inches long. It was 30 inches and 5.5 pound. I’m excited to eat it, also I love the videos. ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Micah, The one you thought was a rock bass was a baby gag grouper. If you do catch a black bass or we call them blackfish, make sure and keep it if it's big enough, some of the whitest meat and best eating in the ocean!!!

Buddy I have caught some seriously nice fish on pinfish. I grew up in Brandon Florida and I used to take my boat out into Tampa Bay and I would catch big cobia, blacktip shark, amberjack, snook, big black drum, and some other gamefish. Man do I miss those days. I left Florida on my own at 14 years old until I found out that I had cancer and my mom made me move back home the next day. I lived there again until I was 18 and I moved back to Pittsburgh and I'm 41 now. I've been wanting to move my family back down there, but the cost of living is SO much more down there than it is here. My house here was $125k, this same house down there would be $350k+. 1,600 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a big living room, a big family room, with a full attic and a basement...yeah.

We just had a full moon with an eclipse that's why the tide is so high and this is a good thing you're going to catch a lot of shrimp and a lot of fish right after an eclipse

PIN FISH !!! They are great great bait, cut, frozen, live. For Snook , Shark, big Red Fish basically everything above a big SheepHead. Love to see you catch a Snook btw, Shrimp, Lure, Pin Fish great Fellets. I’m pretty sure your father caught a couple small ones.

Great video! Large mullet are delicious to eat. If you catch one about 12 inches and up you should try it. You won't be disappointed

Hey Micha , love your videos I’m a long time subscriber that vacations in Folly Beach SC every winter usually around January or February. I tried my hand at surf fishing last year but was very unsuccessful unfortunately.
I never caught a salt water fish and it’s on my bucket list. Is it possible for you to do more surf fishing videos to help me out maybe some info on what rigs to use and your setups so i can bring proper equipment/bait and such for my vacation this year in January.

Micah, I would recommend getting a hand sweeper and dustpan to just sweep up the shrimp and load them into your cooler. Much faster than picking them up!

Any time you get a big haul with one cast of your net. Bait up and cast into that same school. Something is feeding. Don't move.
What if those Commercial guys hijacked your shrimp or maybe some anglers. They have been known to do that on occasion.
Nice haul though on the shrimp never seen that technique before. May have to try next time on the coast next year.
