I had a thought... About the possibility of building 4 identical fighters, trading them to other pilots at space stations, and then immediately recruiting them to my squadron. Picture them matching like a proper professional crew... Glorious! I got the update this morning and started ship hunting. I'm a few updates behind, haven't played in a while but I'm glad to see that the community still rules and folks like Jason and Bob and many others are still around providing quality content! o7 to all my fellow travellers!!
Today is my 50th birthday. I haven't played No Man's Sky yet, but I installed it when I heard about these updates. I'm on the Xbox series X and I'm now looking forward to playing this tonight!

There are a few things that bug me about this update. They don’t cycle through space stations as you jump through. And gull wings are still bugged
graphics inside space stations are noticeably way better. the light bloom was a little much, they dialed it back

I wanna say it dropped for me sometime this morning on the standard Xbox One by like 9-10am EST. What really sucks for me is I live in a more rural area with all internet providers being through satellite internet. So...I started the update around like 10...maybe 11am this morning and by the time I left for work around 2pm, it was only at like 13-14% downloaded.
Even in a small town I live just outside of the area a certain provider will go. I’m stuck with Frontier Communications
@@ACR_Legends They stopped running hard/land-line internet about a mile or two up the road from me. There was apparently talk of continuing it further out...but that was like 8 years ago and they still haven't. I guess I live in just a rural enough area that they figure it's not worth running landline internet out to the dozen-ish homes on my stretch of rural road.
Noticed that some of the side quests are bugging out. It's like getting stuck in a loop...

I have a Series X, and I already built a shiny new custom hauler in Creative mode.
Has anybody else noticed that the cost to purchase multitools is lower? I usually play with the purchase price set as high as it can go and i was able to purchase B class 17 slot multitool for only 225,000 units! They used to be more than a million.

Got it this morning. Seems much more stable. Could actually fly at speed to the surface of a planet without a crash or hang. It did start to bog down after 5 hrs straight going into the Anomaly. But it didn't crash!

I’ve had an Xbox one s for a few years now and since no mans sky came out with the endurance update, my framerate tanked a LOT, and since fractal I’ve had weird textural pixelation at the bottom of my screen and the textures on planets won’t load correctly.

Just curious if you've heard of a big that doesn't give you the ship parts that you scraped? Ive done it to a few ships I've found and I don't see the wings for the cargo ship in my inventory at all
Well then, yet another factor to add to looking for the perfect sector
On my Series S I had a weird bug. The "X" button (interact) gets stuck on one thing (e.g. if you open a storage container or anything). After that you can't even get in your ship. I found you can fix it by going to your inventory and selecting to move something in your upgrades. You can even cancel the move or keep it in the same place but it seems to "unstuck" the focus of that button.

Updated no problem. Still can't claim expedition rewards on any save, and I've completed all of them. No response since I lodged a bug report.

Wait, so no change with the Abandoned and Outlaw Stations? Man. I don't mind being stuck to No Man's Sky's 4.0 series of updates until they get spruced up too! We need the other Starship types to be able to salvage for parts and make our own.
Not sure if it’s just me but some parts seem unobtainable, I tried getting the gull wings in different systems and each time would say part acquired but nothing goes to inventory

Been playing this game for about 3 weeks now on Xbox series x but the load times and warp time are taking longer and longer. It’s taking 20 minutes now just to load up the game. Anyone else getting this? Any tips?

Yes I received the update . I’m on Xbox series X the tower one.
I had got near end game in my original Xbone playthrough up until it became unplayable due to lag & screen jumping despite never playing multi.
I started a new game after this update & all was fine until i got the shop repaired & got the first message in space. When i landed back on the planet, it's lagging so badly that it's unplayable.
I've seen others complain of crashing issues on Series X, is it just not good on Xbox at all?
Still can't claim my other expedition rewards/ golden vector/ utopia speeder etc

Off topic: I'm looking for minotaur cannon S upgrades. I've been to a hundred of space stations and I couldn't find the upgrades. Coordinates found online don't work anymore (merchants don't have the same items). Does anyone have some current location??
Honestly, I kinda miss the rooms that had to be accessed with an Atlas Pass.

I ended up with 4.53, so I restarted everything, it didn't change anything, I had a copy on my external drive as well, I went and uninstalled the copy on the external drive only to find that my Xbox One x removed it completely.... Sad, now I'm reinstalling NMS from scratch, I think this it 4.63 because the update earlier was only 12gb, this update during the install is 13gb, so fingers crossed and praying the cloud has copies of my saved, if I lost those that would really suck.....hehe
Hi Jason. I’m on Xbox. Spent over an hour searching for a crashed ship. Found a crashed explorer, salvaged it, tried to build it. Nope. Wouldn’t let me build my minimalist explorer. I had the S-class reactor and hull. What am I missing?
They need 2 wings. You will have to scrap 2 ships with the wings you want.
Then you can’t build any ship you want. Disappointed
