Fun fact about the Scott Select. It comes in two sizes, medium and large. However, the size of the index and middle finger beds are exactly the same, and the finger attachments for the ring and/or pinky are the only part they changed between the sizes.

      I did not know that.

@@ArcheryTalkVideo I bought both the day they were released so I could make holsters for them, and the large was shipped first. I was surprised to find the large fit me a lot better than I would have expected on amount of my wearing size-small gloves. Then the medium showed up and I was annoyed to find the finger extension was the only difference in size. I made a video about it on my channel.

Just acquired one of these myself in the M size. Interesting fact about the sizing, eh ? If preferring more weight in hand, maybe choose the stainless steel Scott Ascent , however, for me, I love this release aid as is. I have an average size hand, shoot 3 finger & without the click, was not difficult to set. Recommended.

Does this hinge require rubber bands?

It comes with a rubber band, but you can still use it without one. Mine broke in my pouch and I haven’t replaced it yet. Still shoots fine.
