On the coach house, are the four doors across the front the stalls for horses? Is there water available in it? Are the fields fenced anywhere? How much land is included in the property? Is this considered an historical property? Any rules regarding changes to the property? Can you give me a reference to go to regarding making the house into a bed/breakfast on the internet? Question on the house. On the master bedroom was the wall cracked above the door? Are all the plumbing fixtures up to code? Hello Dawn - sorry I haven't replied sooner. Most of the rooms downstairs in the coach house are used for storage. There is are 2 stables on the south end and one to the rear elevation but it would be easy to repurpose what is there. The owners have had horses previously so there should be fencing to at least some of the fields. It is not a Listed building, although it has history. Here is some information about setting up a B&B in France -www.french-property.com/guides/france/business/micro-entrepreneur/chambre-d-hote . I do not have any information about the crack. The house is a full time home and has been renovated by the present owners. Good luck with your search :)
The owners must be British, The French don't use those little off-cuts of carpet around the loo. lovely house to be fair, I love watching your videos, you can always spot the Brits in France, picture of a Spitfire or a Highland cow is always a give-away.
