I don’t want to scare anyone, but this is my story: back in December I was watching TV late at night and I noticed a strange blurriness in my right eye. On a hunch I took my blood pressure - it was 90/40. I had always had a blood pressure of 120/80, or thereabouts. I immediately went to my Cardiologist at the time and he wrote it off as: “Oh, you’ve lost 150lbs from Keto, it must be the weight loss.” I sensed something was much more wrong with me. I got a 2nd opinion from another Cardiologist and she said: “Your prior Cardiologist didn’t hear this distinct murmur?” I said: “No, he never mentioned it.” My new Cardiologist - who goes on to save my life - orders echocardiogram, T2-MRI for iron in the Heart because I have Hemochromatosis, a CT-Scan, then ultimately a heart catheterization and a Esophageal Echocardiogram. These tests showed that the murmur was being caused by a badly regurgitating Aortic Valve. I underwent open heart surgery on April 8th to replace my bad valve with a bio prosthetic Bovine Valve. I also had an AtriClip installed on the left atrium appendage to prevent blood clots from AFIB. I’m 10 weeks post-surgery now and my BP and heart rhythm are normal. My heart rhythm was not normal for the first 6 weeks - I would get AFIB, SVT’s, & PVC’s. It was very rough going at first. But, I’ve stuck to the Healthy Ketogenic diet that Dr. Berg advocates and my surgeon and Cardiologist are all amazed at my progress. Heck - I was driving a car at 3 weeks post-surgery. At 10 weeks out now I’m going to the supermarket and walking the dog - and she’s strong - AmStaff/Pitbull type dog. I’m not at the point of cutting the lawn yet, but I’m nearing the point where I want to perform light workouts with dumbbells. I already perform Yoga stretches with special precautions to my sternum because I had a traditional sternotomy. So, just beware what your Cardiologist says, and get 2nd opinions - it may just save your life.

@Provoked Brittany I hope so. Also - In regards to my Hemochromatosis - get your Ferritin checked if you’re of Northern European heritage. My Ferritin was 4580 four years ago when I started experiencing night sweats & leg cramps. After many phlebotomies my Ferritin is now around 50. Normal is 0-50. But, the iron damaged my liver with Fibrosis. My liver is regenerating, but it’s been a long road back.

I had a lot of arritmia For many years I went to cardiologist to check February 2021 he said there was nothing wrong with my heart ❤️ the irregular heart beat was coming from somewhere else. So when I started the interment fasting with keto February this year 2022 among many other benefits I experience, my energy, my gum, headaches in the morning, and so on… my heartbeat is just perfect 👍 I think is something related to liver and /or I really have to stay away from carbohydrates.

All my life my family cooked out of cast iron frying pans and when I left home I continued the tradition. When I was in my late 20’s my doctor told me I had high iron and wanted to know if anyone in my family had high iron. My grandfather on my fathers side did and he also died of a liver disease. I got rid of all my cast iron pans and months later my iron was normal again. I miss cooking in cast iron pans but not that much if it effects my health.
It’s funny how people can all consume the same things but only a few seem to be effective negatively by it.

Blood viscosity: have CRP and fibrinogen checked. Ideal is less than 1 CRP and 360 fibrinogen.
Thrombus: a blood clot is 65 percent fibrin or fibrinogen, 25 percent platelets and 4 percent cholesterol.
Mitochondria: the heart has more mitochondria per cell than any organ. To improve oxygen flow CoQ10, D ribose, L canitine improve the electron transfer chain function and converting ADP to ATP.
Statins: suppress K2, CoQ10, increase risk of diabetes, brain fog, skin cancer, etc.

Dr. Berg, great analysis regarding potentional risks to our hearts. Anyways, I was on Monday in IKEM in Prague regarding my heart and results were for my cardiologist more than good. Cholesterol 3,7. They measure cholesterol not insulin. Professor Ben Bikman probably would tell them something😊.
So, my weight is now 98 kg and I am aiming down to 93 on Keto and sufficient level of sodium, calcium, pottasium and magnesium.
Regarding recurgitance of my aortal valve it is still between 2/3. Other valves 1-2. So, good no potential chirugic invasive exchange for mechanical valve on the eve.
Nevertheless, all my problems or my condition is caused by 50% Murphy syndrome ( that is my tissue is ill). some of my organs and parts of my body evolved in atypical shape. ( Paganini had this sickness 100%). It is about of lack of collagen? It influence mostly heart, eyes and teeths. Is it possible to revert this shortage of collagen in my body that my tissue might be healed? Thanks for info. Radomír

Super informative video Dr. Berg! I just watched an earlier video of yours about racing heart could be caused by the gallbladder. Started taking Tudca again yesterday. Looks like it needs to be something regular I'm doing. Had Covid in January which seems to have magnified anything I had going on previous to it. Dealing with UC which I'm sure is flaring some of my other issues. Trying to do better with my keto and IF but UC is not allowing me to have any raw vegetables so just trying to figured out how to balance my diet of keto with diet for UC!! As always, your videos are ALWAYS timely!! Thank you so much again!!! ♥

    • @applebobbingfore6221
      @applebobbingfore6221 Год назад +1

@@Bait1official I took high doses of thiamine (vitamin B1). I balanced and increased my minerals (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfate, manganese, and the other 71 minerals). I made sure I got my vitamins all 18 of them A-K2. I worked at correcting my fats (Omega 3, 6, & 9) and avoiding processed fats and oils. I then finished my supplementation with the essential12 Amino Acids my body can't synthesize.
I know supplements (pills) aren't the best nutrition but, when you're failing they are better then nothing. Currently I'm working towards building my food to contain the complete nutrition needed to avoid the complications, manipulations, legalizations, price, and limited quality of all current commercial food products.
I have found there are 155+ elements to our nutritional needs. You supply these elements to cover deficiencies, you correct over 900 diseases.
So, to start healing requires B1, salt, water, sulfate, and potassium. Then comes the essential 77 minerals, bile salts, animal fats (clean unprocessed), and proteins. Then filter in the probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, and low oxalate and low phytic acid plant fiber. No sugar, carbs, seed oils, seeds, or alcohol. And last, avoid EMR while fasting after you have a more complete nutritional profile working in you.

I was doing research and articles appear stating that intermittent fasting increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. I noticed after I did a hard core fast, at times my heart will just beat fast out of nowhere and I feel sensations in my hands and body that feel like they are weak and I want to collapse almost. I received an influenza vaccine in October 2016, and whatever was in it was "not normal." I have never had sickness in my body like that ever. I am glad I left due to the harassment I had to deal with.
