You can find this rapier on many websites, just search "Hanwei Practical Rapier" and find a store that's most convenient for you. An example is - casiberia.com/p...
Hey Everyone, sorry for the second upload. There was an editing error that needed fixing.
Cheers!
Blood and Iron HEMA You're a error!
Just kidding. :D

Julian Schuetze Ha! Anyway loved the video and other videos that this channel puts out. Much better than other similar channels.
"Buh-bye now"
Excellent concise and thorough review as always. These are invaluable. You guys are definitely on top of your review game. I would have to agree with Lee, Erik's impression of Jane was indeed creepy. Still made me laugh out loud though. 😄
Buhbye now! :p
I found one used as my first sparing sword for $45. I think it will be absolutely fantastic to get into the sport. :) thanks for the review
Loved this, please keep up doing gear reviews!
My 37" doesn't seem too floppy. I actually like the swept hilt look as well. But I agree on the handle grip -- it looks fine from four feet away, up close it looks and feels cheaply made. However, it functions, as a grip. BTW, you can grind the nail tip down so it is sort of a rounded tip and then the tip blunts fit on it better.
I recently got a 43 inch blade and it's a bit more stiff than what you showed. Not to say it's rock solid by any means, but it isn't a pool noodle.
Would it be possible to get a pommel, blade, and handle from Castille and use the Hanwei guard?
That's what I have, it's great, just make sure they know that you're using the Hanwei guard so they can shape it to fit.

Would the basic rapier blade fit the hanwei guard?
@@matthewpham9525 You'd have to ask Castille.
what do you think of the Regenyei standard Rapier??
Can you use it left hand? The guard isasymetrical and I am left handed.
What blades will fit a Torino Handle and guard ??
So the blades that came out after their factory burnt to the ground can be very iffy in quality?
Hey bud, which rapier was the one that you recommended?
I believe it's Castille Armory mate, sorry for the delay X))
I've used this rapier in a stage combat course. I found the handguard was too bulky and heavy. Our forearms were always tired after about 1o minutes. A smaller handguard would be much appreciated.
Just bought the 43" for $175 four days ago and then this video pops up in my recommended feed. Mine isn't that floppy though and the nail tip is a little better, weirdly.
I'm....80% sure I have this rapier somewhere back at my parents place. After I moved I couldn't exactly take everything so I left them in the corner of my old room. Not sure where she put it.
Maybe add a link to where to buy them in the description? Would be nice.
Done.
Blood and Iron HEMA
Thanks!
How did Julian do at Winter's End, by the way?
VelmiVelkiZrut Had to step out, took a blow to the back of the head. I'm alright but it's always disappointing.
Sorry to hear that - better luck next time.
Would either of you know, can the light pommel be replaced with a heavier one, or is it fixed?
The pommel threads on, so you can remove it. The question is will your replacement fit the threading?
Hey where are you guys at ??
You said you visited (down in Portland) I’m in Seattle
We have two locations, one in Burnaby, the other in Victoria. Both in British Columbia Canada :)
I think hema shop has them for 200 incl. tax.
I can't make out the name of the sword vendor that the guy on the right recommends at 5:05. Anyone?
Sam at Castille
That floppiness is it's own advantage if you know how to usenit
Jinkies, couple of big old blokes there huh?
Not only did the title got messed up, but there are no bloopers, eh. BOO, eh!
:0
Eh?
Makin' fun of my Canadian heritage there eh bud?
Heaven forfend. As a sign of recompense I will buy you some rye whiskey.
Hanwei is not what it used to be.
