  • Howdy. Todays adventure will take us to the site of Camp Cajon, the first rest stop in the United States. Kendall's got plenty of info that you don't want to miss.
Join Kendall as he and his friend, the video camera, take you on an adventure. The autistic artist, graphic designer, and filmmaker shares some of his favorite places to visit as well as places he’s always wanted to check out. Normally not overly social, he comes to life when he has a conversation with the camera and his viewers. Kendall starts the adventures with a history lesson where you are bound to learn something new. His history includes historic photos that feel like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Growing up he loved to watch episodes of Huell Howser's "California's Gold" on PBS, all types of content in the History Channel and had a favorite book titled "Weird California" about strange places to visit. Like Huell, he’ll explore places we are all familiar with, some we've always wondered about, and some you’ve never heard of. Let’s go on a learning adventure!

Thank you Kendall, that was very interesting and informative. Always enjoy your presentation and photos that help us learn. I thought your videos reminded me of Huell Howser and I just read in the description that you loved watching him too.

Thanks Kendall, though I have only past there one time. I had never heard of the story of its existence. I did recall the name Cajon and at at first thought it was Gorman at the top of the Grape Vine. So I took a trip on google maps to refresh my memory. Back in the early 70's my sister lived in the San Bernardino area and that was my occasion to pass by there . Enjoyed the video Have a good one.
