Can sonic and his friends save the world from annihilation or will robotnick seize victory find out next on sonic x”. That had to be the best intro I’ve seen on sonic x and the reason I said it so good was because I watched it a lot when I was 6 or 5-9 and even watched it again when I was 12
I prefer the original slightly over Brotherhood. It has the better Shou Tucker/Major Hughes storyline. Also the tone is better and certain backstories like Lust are better
Greeds death was also very beautiful and sad in 2003. It was amazing in Brotherhood too but the theme of the 2003 version was so haunting, dark and sad.
Tbh i think 2003 only did a few minor to medium things better whereas Brotherhood had a much better plot, better pacing, better homunculi, better fights, and a FAR better ending. that's not to disrespect 2003 though!
Btw the fight scene in op 4 (10:13) wasn’t cg at all. It was all 2d animated by an animator named Kou Yoshinari. They are known for their animation style that is so good, it almost looks like cgi.
8:17 it was planned from the start that it was going to be an original story, as was requested by the manga’s author Hiromu Arakawa, since she felt it would be more interesting to have different versions of the story. As such even in the overlap there’s a ton of original content and variations that foreshadow and leave hooks for the anime original material as well as just wouldn’t fit with the manga’s story. 8:54 Fuhrer Bradley was pride in the 2003 version
WOW really I never knew that The author is so cool for this and smart too she captivated people into her story only to have her own original story told that's so creative
I much prefer the brotherhood version. The original fleshed out the start of the story better and I really liked the tone but after it branched out into its own story it kinda fell apart for me in terms of plot.
@@mr.l3938 That's my opinion. If you like the original more then that's okay. I prefer the original show's soundtrack and first have over Brotherhood. I just prefer Brotherhood overall.

My favorite FMA is brotherhood! Also I always prefer when the anime follows it’s original source 😅 Also I started watching FMA when I was like 18 and both shows where out, and watching the first FMA was nice but when I started FMAB I literally finished it in less than 48 h. And for something to hock me so much is not that rare- because adhd and hyper fixation, but with this show I nearly didn’t sleep because I was so hocked! For what I know the FMA did better the start of the series, but like FMAB knew a lot of it’s watchers had seen FMA so they went faster over that part, or that is what I had read. Also I had the manga is so good! For me FMAB is so well rounded and everything fall into place, I really admire the autor and wish I could write a story like hers. Btw: I would have loved that you watched the opening with the subtitles for the meaning, maybe you could do that or watch amalee English covers of them? Her English covers are so good!! + I’d love to watch you react to FMA + FMAB endings + subs!
I prefer 03 way more the story is basically a character study on the main protagonist and him accepting that the world is imperfect and unfair it isn't as black-and-white as he first thought the whole story is way more philosophical and thematic and way more mature the main cast gets a lot of development too even some characters represent and embody the main character's guilt, rage, or a different version of them if they went on a different path on their Journey or remained on the same path t also you took inspiration from real life stuff like the Iraq War and this version of the military having parallels with the Nazis and what they did back in ww2 and 03 even tackled a lot of political and religious specs in a realistic way like the after effects of War, propaganda, religious persecution, the director of the series decided to use the Iraq War because in 2003 that has just begun and wanted to add a little bit more realism and even some of the things some characters do mirror real life stuff that happened in the past which is it a big foreshadowing for the end like I said it's very thematic and philosophical And the end is basically an embodiment of the core messages of the story which are that the world is unfair and imperfect but it's all so beautiful and also represents the main characters growth a literal metaphor of growing up leaving the ignorance you had and going to the real random yet beautiful Adult World and even some characters embody these core messages like the main bad guys but in the end it tells us that even if we work hard in some cases we might not get what we want in return or we will get it but not in the way we expected it but you can't simply give up knowing this the world may be flawed but thats what makes it so beautiful no matter what you believe in life is still worth living U already heard me talking about it and it's aight if u already watched it again if you have watched it I have plenty of other bangers so it's aight and you've only watched Brotherhood then watch this version it's completely different but I think you're going to dig it U should watch this version then fmab so u can have the best experience 03 develops the main cast while fmab develops the side cast😈🔥And they also foreshadow the ending in unique and compelling ways like in every episode The Brothers give you the Law of Equivalent Exchange yet near the end it changes like they are throughout the series there are many examples of the law is very flawed ep16 is probably my fav example Edward talking to a veteran doubting the very law he believes in and questioning after his journey what is he going to do, also be a monkey versus are way more developed and one of them is a huge example on why that law is flawed as well and around th izumi Arc when Ed goes through the gate there are a bunch of flashing images which foreshadow the ending even more I am so sorry for making a Bible verse of a paragraph and I hope yall have a great day
Still my number 1 anime of all time, but I’m still one of those people who prefers the original ✨✌️✨ not because I think it’s better, but because its nostalgic for me 🙂 also, the originals Wrath was by far my most favorite character. A homonculus who could use alchemy was pretty sick lol
Talk about a blast from the past! Which version of FMA do you prefer?
Gotta be 03 but both versions are great
Brotherhood :D but I still like the original...
FMAB,Gintama and One piece are my fav mainstream animes :)

Agreed. I always thought the scene when Ed grieved over Nina and Alexander was way better in the 2003 version.

Ready Steady Go was the one adult swim chose to use and it was the opening that got me into the series. Such a masterpiece.
They also used rewrite (op 4) and I remember being in middle school and blown away by the ed and al vs lust and gluttony sequence.

Agreed. It does the beginning so well with the tone and the music. But it kinda fell flat when it was left to tell its own conclusion.
