2025 Audi Q7 45 Premium: Great Value | Car Conversations

Today I am reviewing the new Audi Q7. The Q7 has been facelifted for 2025 including new fully LED headlights and a bigger grill. The 20” wheels have been updated, and you have plenty of chrome trim. The back remains mostly unchanged with the premium taillights, but exposed exhaust returns. The interior is pretty nice for the base model. The seats are made of leatherette and they adjust 12 ways. The gauge cluster and steering wheel setup is modern with a heated steering wheel and a fully digital gauge cluster. The materials aren’t bad either with the glossy wood trim and the leatherette. The Q7 continues to offer Audi’s latest infotainment system with the dual screen setup. While it’s relatively responsive and it supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it could use an update soon. The storage in the Q7 is pretty terrible for the size of the car that it is. There is barely any space in the center console, and the only other storage that you get are the two cup holders. In the second row, you get the bare minimum for the base model. The seats are relatively comfortable and they slide and recline. You also get two cup holders and a third zone of climate control. If you upgrade to the Premium Plus or Prestige, you could get four zone climate control and heated seats. The third row is pretty tight and it looks like Audi cheaped out in this area. The cargo area has adequate room, but it falls behind the competition like the Acura MDX and the Lexus TX. You get a maximum of 69.6 cubic feet and the third row power folds. Under the hood are two engine options besides the V8 in the SQ7. We have the base 2.0L 4 Turbo with 261 horsepower. This is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission and it gets a good 24 MPG combined. The V6 is the better choice if you want the extra power, but the 4 cylinder still isn’t bad. Nope, BMW X5 is WAY better (my dad cross-shopped both along with some other cars), and I don’t want to hear about the Q7 3rd row bc it’s dysfunctional
