God I wish this was o n youtube in full instead of just Roku
This is it for Zach. If he implodes against the Chiefs which everyone seems to believe will happen…it’s over for him. Zach needs to grab this moment & prove he’s not the guy who sits down & gives up on plays. Can he do it? Um….
@@tellthetruthtrish I actually love these type of games. EVERYONE now expects us to lose. As a Jets fan, yes, I have been frustrated with Zach’s playing & also the play calling by Hackett…BUT I will be rooting for Zach big time Sunday night against the Jets. It could be an amazing opportunity for Zach to surprise everyone. Who knows.
That is NOT going to happen
Perfect timing to bring in Kaepernick 😂......for many reasons.......
If trevor can be the mike white this year that would be acceptable. I already said before i would of kept Mike white before zach. I get the high pick that he was you just cant give up. But you have to be realistic
Simien is actually a decent backup. Couple of years ago he did a decent job with the Saints. I mean he's an upgrade from Wilson. He's you know the proverbial game manager type as long as you don't put the game on his shoulders
I can’t wait for Sunday when I hope the final score is 56-0 KC and ZW goes 13-40 with 4 picks
Thirteen completions? That's generous.
“Twice a Rodgers” 🤣 Love that unit.
He has a pretty good live arm.
Aaron would definitely tell Namath to shut up and sit down. Behind a closed door, like an adult he'll have that tough conversation with Wilson. Its what professionals do
Trevor Siemian's a gamer. Glad to sign him, and doesn't preclude another move later in the season.
Lay off the copium my guy and be happy the packers don’t get a first anymore
Siemian can win games. He's at least 50% of Herbert
@@andrewalvarez4975 Lol... As a Saints fan, I can attest to the fact there's a logical reason he didnt last long in N.O. - And I'd rather have Andy Dalton for example, any game of the week... Still...
Atleast he's actually done something in his career lmao... Same with Bridgewater instead, he looked great in a Saints uniform, before he left to get a big raise with a mediocre Panthers squad... Give me super bowl winner Nick Foles instead... Heck, give me fricken Carson Wents instead... nobody disputes that he has the talent and ability to put up big numbers, and win big games... it's just one of the biggest rollercoasters in the league with that guy... but atleast he has some upside compared to Zach or Trevor...
Maybe just maybe Trevor can pull a Geno Smith... but those Geno's out of nowhere dont happen very often for a reason...
@@WhiteCheddar. He's 0-6 in the last games he started.
A move for what? You know there is a trade deadline, right?
As a Jet fan since '72 it's hard to be amazed. This signing did it though.
Wouldn’t Carson wentz do you better justice
Josh Moss would do us better justice!
Can you imagine if the Jets had just been patient and kept Sam Darnold? They could have used the pick they wasted on Wilson to draft a better OL and then wouldn't have had to make the trade for Rodgers. They put EVERYTHING on Darnold, when he had no weapons and a bad OL. You can win with a decent QB. You can't win with a joker like Zach Wilson.
this is why im not really bothered by Daniel Jones as a giants fan, whatever happens. Even if he's not the guy, theres no point trying to find the guy until the roster is at least average. We've seen this happen so many times
😂 😂 😂
Delusional people pretending Sam Darnold was good. He was bad in Car with a good line and CMC. Get over it
Patience? Not with Jets and Dolphin fans. 🐬🆙
Carolina did not have a good offensive line. He did have an injured CMC. Stop it
@@seed.planted Darnold started 11 games and had CMC for 7. He threw for 9 TDs and 13 ints and 18 turnovers total. He also has DJ Moore, Anderson, and CMC as receivers. Darnold was and is terrible
Word on the street is Tanny may be available soon. The results may not be much better, but I guarantee he'll never give up on the team.
If the Jets end up with the first pick in the 2024 draft, I think Caleb Williams goes back for his senior year at USC.
Well, the Jets taking a USC QB in the first round would make them 0-3.
No.
USC.
Quarterbacks.
Ever.
I remember when Sam Darnold was the next Namath and Joe spent time with him, they had lots of media coverage on that as well. Didn't really make a difference. So, Joe never met with the kid, and ihe seems upset about it, but it's irrelevant.
The truth is, some QBs just never adjust to the speed of the game in the NFL. That's a lot harder to measure than arm strength and accuracy when not under pressure. As a 49ers fan I've seen both sides of that and now I'm watching a QB that doesn't have the physical traits to impress media scouts but has the fast processing to be good in the NFL.
That's what Mike McDaniel said he saw when he watched the tape on Tua and why he got excited about him. That's what Brian Griese saw with Purdy. That's the thing Wilson doesn't seem to have.
Rich & Greeny are going to have strokes this season 😂😂😂😂
@@tellthetruthtrishi am surprised he hasn't on Twitter yet I guess he will tomorrow morning but we shall see because I am sure he will soon
@@tellthetruthtrish omg he is going to snap
@@tellthetruthtrish me neither & he was SICK
As a PatFan since the beginning 1960 I feel for Rich. What a situation to be in as a fan.
With Siemien it’s Super Bowl for the Jets 😂
Right. Why are we excited
Let's just try to win first. Like get a first down.
Rich Eisen is surprisingly well adjusted for someone who's only known misery his entire life as a Jets fan.
This is a good move. Siemian can absolutely hold down the fort.
u obviously haven’t actually watched siemian😂. theres a reason he wasnt even on a practice squad
@@jaysonsmith7264: Dude, I'm from Denver. I watched Siemian when he was a starter, for one full season and parts of others. He's not going to set the world on fire, but he is competent and he CAN "hold down the fort," which is all the Jets really need to have a decent record and a shot at making the playoffs this season. They don't have any good options - their dreams of contending for a title are over this year.
As a vikings fan who endured Siemien as a backup... hes not even a good backup
I agree!..He certainly can't do any worse.
@@jaysonsmith7264Can’t do any worse than ZW.
Needless to say, Zach is done in NY. Can't survive this. And you can blame everyone that was responsible for thinking he was ready to play in Week 1, Year 1, through putting him out there again this year. The incompetency from the draft until today is off the charts.
Not every team can be as fortunate as GB where QB’s basically grow on trees
Because they have better scouts. That's not a series of coincidences.
If I was the Jets I’d sign Chad Kelly. He has been really good in the CFL, and he is now the highest player CFL player. Still probably most impressive qb I’ve seen play in person.
Welcome to what the Bears are going through and just went through with KC
As a Saints fan I think Trevor is the answer for the Jets for now. They just need to give him an O line. He played well for us when we needed him.
Will the Chiefs put up over 70 points on the Jets?
No.
As a Patriots fan I would just like to say that in spite of all of this chaos in NY Tom Brady and the Patriots were down 28-3 late in the 3rd quarter in the Super Bowl and came back to win it in overtime
maybe the JETS should trade for Sam Darnold ? :)
Sam says “no thanks”
This is the organization that said he isn’t the QB both Robert and Joe said hit the road Jack.
@@Simeonjackson47 definitely good at Qb talent evaluating
Doesn't matter who you sign. That o line isn't going to protect anyone. You had Rodgers. He lasted one series.
Do you all realize that Joe Namath had a career losing record, 50% completion percentage and threw more interceptions than TDs? Even the best Jet ever was mediocre.
He has a ring
Do you realize it was a different game back then? Do you realize that Namath played on two blown knees for a good part of his career? Do you realize that Joe Namath was his own offensive coordinator? In todays game, Namath would put up ridiculous numbers.
Yep and he'd have been run out of town before he got that ring if he played today. @@TrackhawksATL
@TrackhawksATL Yea because of defense and run game. Wouldn't even let him throw a pass in the 4th quarter of that SB
@@bryceallen5135 You've clearly never seen Namath play. There's nothing wrong with that, but there is something wrong with you looking at stats and thinking that they tell the story. They most often do not.
Trevor Siemian is a stud. He should start and will ball out immediately
Bengals have the worst back up QB in the league and we cut Trevor over the guy we have now, so that's saying something lol.
I would argue the jets had the worst backup and his name is zach Wilson 😂
On January 23, 2017, Siemian was named as an alternate for the 2017 Pro Bowl, but declined the invitation due to recovery from left shoulder surgery two weeks prior.
Trevor Siemian is such a Jets move. Why not Ryan or Carson ?
Rumors were bs,thats from both their agents
Hell, even Glennon! 🎉
Im a Miami fan and i actually feel sorry for the Jets fans, MY GOD!! they are the only NFL team without a dam stadium of their own.
They share a stadium but at least it isn't still called Giants Stadium with red and blue seats any more.
At 5:31 can anyone explain why Wilson is not using the laces on the football???
Zack Wilson is the biggest bust of my young life but embarrassing nonetheless 😂
It really can’t get an worse than him or Justin Fields
Trey Lance is side by side with Zack Wilson.
Josh Rosen and Johnny Manziel say hello lol
@@173jaSon371 They we’re both dumpe WAAAYY sooner than Wilson. Try again.
I’m 62 and I’d say ZW is the biggest bust the Jets have ever drafted.
Trade for Tyler Huntley or another young but experienced backup. Plenty of options if you are willing to spend a 5th or 6th round.
Somebody check on Zach Wilson because after hearing that from thee Joe Namath he has to be somewhere curled up in the fetal position crying...DAMN! That was brutal 😬
He should be, because he's terrible. XD
It needed to be said, and it needed to be said by that man.
To NY Jets fans: At least you're not the Chicago Bears.
To Chicago Bears fans: At least you're not the New York Jets.
😂
Imagine Zach's depression when he hears what Namath said. Pretty cruel.
This has nothing to do with Zach, it has everything to do with Saleh, Douglas, and Hackett. Jets should have cut Zach at the end of last season and spared their fans, and players the torment of having to play him at QB this year. Siemian could have been signed two weeks ago so he could be starting against the Chiefs.
maybe he shouldnt have sucked every game😂
He needs to look in the mirror not at what others are saying.... the message is obvious - he was happy to sit on the bench and get paid and needs to be traded asap for future talent
@@slowrunner14 You realize you're posing Siemian as an improvement, right?
A guy who the Bengals, a team that could surround him with a championship caliber offense, decided couldn't get the job done. Wasn't even good enough for their practice squad.
He's an upgrade from Wilson, but no one else.
This guy played for the MINNESOTA VIKINGS before....................That tells you how "GOOD" he is!!! ( from 50 + year Viking fan )
sooo anyone who has played for the Vikings is no good?
Brilliant logic.
Rich thank you for everything you do. Smart, witty, knowledgeable, willing to listen and entertaining.
I will not name names but YOU, sir, are a treasure compared to the moldy locker room of junk sports writers and sports shows and their simmering buckets of useless hyperbole puke.
You make sense of the insanity of sports while others are out failing with their garage sale sound bites.
I wish ten super bowls worth of blessings on your family. 💙💚
So Carson Wentz reached out and Jets told him to piss off for Trevor Semenman
My question... why do the Jets have a backup qb that is not able to be a backup qb? If Wilson became the project during the Aaron Era, why let Mike White go and keep another project with Boyle??
Trevor Siemian? Super Bowl here we come!!!
Watch him get hurt his first game and Wilson will have to go back in
Jets management turn UFO type management idealogy.😂
The Packers and Bears backups QBs both looked really good in the preseason. Those guys might be worth a look. Think of them as solid draft picks.
Get Brissett dude... makes total sense. He's good enough to lead the team to the playoffs easily.
Rich is the best, the only TTUN fan I enjoy listening to 😅
