Definitely think you should have touched on Soublaze in that document, the fact that it does Multiplicative damage rather than additive like the Flamer is actually a really important note.
One thing you mistakenly talked about was Combat Blade crit chance. You even read the paragraph at the bottom that explains how to understand it, and then instantly go to a weapon and read it the wrong way. The Combat Blade has a 15% flat crit chance, and yes it does have Finesse...but Finesse in Darktide doesn't affect crit chance....the Critical Bonus stat affects crit chance. Finesse affects crit DAMAGE. So, a Combat Blade has 15% flat and completely unchanging crit chance, because it does not have a Critical Bonus stat. Note; the part you misunderstood specifically was where it says "the things with a range between two numbers improves because of a stat". A singular flat number means it can't move because of stats. 0-15% =numbers with a range, which means it has a stat that affects crit chance. 15%=no stat change.

Destiny 2 has it so that when you hover over class ‘aspects’, it highlights the keywords, and in a little side window it has descriptions for each of those keywords. Darktide does a good job with the weapon breakdowns, but should be more transparent with keywords.
In regards to stamina chunks equaling seconds of sprint I would highly recommend you take a look at how it compares to sprint as an Ogryn with the slab shield versus how it is sprinting with a stubber. That, as well as the stamina regeneration with each. Each weapon has its own mobility statistics so depending on if you need to get somewhere fast, maybe changing weapons may help out with that. And you'll find out real quickly that even though you have 10 chunks of stamina with that shield you're not going to be moving far at all.
Yeah stamina represents for both push, block and run action Ogryn shield might have 10 stamina but it also has huge stamina drain and slow speed so the weapon's bonus stamina will only give benefits to push and block actions
Yea I thought that wording about 1 chuck of stamina being a second is not true. Your weapon should say how much stamina it uses per second. I run the crit build on the zealot and with maybe 5-6 stamina I can run for like 15 seconds.
Fatshark did it again , everything we complained ( including hidden and confusing stats ) are back in , we need to watch 2-3 hours of explanation videos if we want to know how to build , well at least we won't be bored
It's funny cause they added so much more stats and numbers for the weapons in the inspect screen, which is something people always wanted in VT2, but then somehow added even more stuff that never gets explained
3:54 No, you can get the Burn blessing on weapons. I have an Accatran Recon Lasgun that does burning. It sounds great, but it does it so irregularly even when firing full-auto that it's really not worth it.
TFW youtubers and players have to do Fatshark's work for them when they could release literally just a Word document with their internal descriptions for the stats and permanently end all confusion.
bleed is always a difficult one because besides bosses and monsters, is it better to cause bleed on hit one but still require 2 follow up hits, or not cause bleed but only take two hits to down
Do most weapons have cleave or only specific ones with the stat? It says weapons have many stats, but the top 5 are listed. Do Orgryns work the same as other classes? I've never seen an issue with my attack swipes doing a stop short animation.
But when it says unarmored or flak armored targets, does that mean when you hit a given spot on an enemy or are enemies grouped into categories of armor
the specific spot, since you do mitigated damage to a mauler's CARAPCE armored headpiece. so you'll do 20% more damage to carapace armor would prob be a better way of looking at it :)
@@italianspartacus ty, its worded wierd. Unless I forgot how to read, those perks read "+% damage to ___ armored enemies" your clarification makes sense though

When you need to datamine the to know game mechanics, LOL. Lazy by devs. Not only Fatshark but many devs don't even bother to explain mechanics. It can be done easily tho. Keywords like Power should be outlined in different colour and when you hover over it you see an explanation. Like some RPG games do to explain famous persons or places.
Still don't have any clue. Brittleness? Armor penetration? You can hit flak armored units all day and don't get any benefit. If you hit mauler in chest a couple times 3-rd hit in the head will be more then 1-st in the head. So it works only against carapace? Render player buff? Only works against one target - you hit somebody in chest - you get render against him. Switching taget - will need build this buff again. You can have this buff for about 5 seconds, so you can shoot 1 then 2 then 1 then 2 - and you will have your damage increased for both. But this is not how it works on melee. +20% rending on one-shot. You need to kill in one-shot to get a rending buff against another target. And it doesn't work against flak. While on bolter render works against flak... WTF is going on? MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC! Ok - impact increase on my weapon buffs my stagger. But "target recives 2 stacks +5% impact"... WHAT? I will just play and will not read any of it. That's just elven language. With elven logic.
It can't be right that Crushers have bleed resistance. When I heavy attack any Ogryn in the Psykhanium as an Ogryn, they take heavy bleed damage. I know I read somewhere that Ogryn enemies take double bleed damage.
The fact that it requires all this work to tell basic ass shit in the game is beyond sad. They really did rush this game out. They delayed it a year and it should have unfortunately been delayed another with how rough it is atm. Systems are poorly designed, it's badly optimized, and there are more than a few bugs. Not sure why weapons don't have descriptions like they did in Vermintide. It would say X is for cleaving, Y is for Armor Piercing, Z is for crow control. The weapons and stats are so poorly explained its criminal.

Most of these are intuitive but why wouldnt that put a glossary like this in a game menu?
its always been this way, in Vermintide too a lot was intentionally left unclear

when you say combat axe are you referring to the Antax or Attrox?

Games could really use a Codex to explain what these terms mean.
the people making the game dont even know

Orestes chain ace brittleness 3 is boss

What is short range? How short is it?
great stuff
i might try laspistol just for that crit
me thinks there's a fun build somewher ein there!
I would love to learn how much each increment of range is. The revolver had its range increased to 40. How far is that?
Gonna guess meters, since that's the default unit used in abilities, achievements, the ping tool, etc. :)
40 inches
I think the Lucius lasgun also has burn , I seen the blessing on it
Well, yes, if it has a blessing that adds burn...then it has burn.
This should all just be a menu in the game
Inexcusable that tooltips for these terms weren't included in the game.
Like it wouldn't even be that hard to just be able to mouse over the term and have an explanation pop up. Doesn't even have to be detailed...

How I see the crit chance on weapons?
You can’t for the majority of the weapons. The values mentioned in this video were data mined.
I don't understand how recon lasguns have a base -2% crit and yet my Mk VIb seems to crit about 75% of the time in the meat grinder
It probably seems to crit a lot because it shoots 11 times a second. :^)

The keywords is the dumbest thing ever - they literally mean *nothing* to the average player.
