📍Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau - Gaia to try cod pastry. It is a very beautiful place, I felt like I was in Harry Potter movie. Go for Portuguese experience, so you get to try cod cake and white port.

I am going to Porto again in 3 weeks. Yay! I am going on my own, which is exciting, because I will do everything I want. And I want to wander around, eat, drink beer and wine and then wander around some more and eat and drink some more! I have started a list of tapas style, markets and some cheaper local places. And now I am here for more ideas!

If you see this sign"~" over "ao" like in "ão" is because you sould pronounce it like "an" and not "ao".

@@LondonerbyYaroslavaKirichok No. The question arised for me because of the question of Tristan vs Tristão, the sounding is the same but the english speakers ignore that in portuguese "ão" sounds like "an" in english like in the words pão "pan" (bread), cão "can" (dog) etc.
but sometimes (a regional thing) some people indeed pronounce some of the words like om

Is duck rice spicy? I am going to Porto, but I don't eat spicy food, so I am trying to figure out what I should try and what I should avoid.

@@LondonerbyYaroslavaKirichok Thank you, I wasn't sure because all recipes I saw on the web mentioned that it contains chorizo. I thought chorizo was spicy. What about food in Porto in general, is most of it not spicy?
