Not really. The disassembly drones will eventually run out of oil and overheat if they refuse to leave the bunker. However developing weapons in case of door failure is a smart idea.
The doors were doing a great job. the issue is more stagnation as they viewed themselves as totally safe with the doors. even without weapons you could have had a fail safe if some of the doors failed. for crying out loud they had 3 doors. the people in front of it were not prepared to shut the second door and the third door could be bypassed altogether. They had zero contingencies for their first line of defense.
Also personally think she's valid in killing the rest of humanity- they did kinda sic murder bots on the regular workers... And these robots are fully sentient, so they can see a betrayal when it's offered to them.

If I'm not mistaken, one of his character traits is lovable idiot.
The doors being actually weak and easy to destroy from inside is a reference to vampires, which the disassembly drones technically are. Literally any door will stop a vampire, not because of the material it's made out of, but because it's a door. If they aren't invited, vampires can't enter homes, so if you make a door out of cardboard, than that fancy piece of paper will be the thing that stops vampires. Which means that Uzi's dad actually has the right idea when he suggests to quickly build a door.
Also fun fact: the MurderDrones are actually inspired from the Sirens in Yellow Hallogen, a creepypasta made by the writer of the showe:)

So, to explain the doors: the Disassembly Drones share a lot of resemblance with vampires - drinking blood, sun kills them, wings, regeneration, as well as some other stuff that gets revealed later. And what's one of the vampires' weirdest and most absurd weaknesses? They can't enter a house without being invited in first.
So that is why n apologize first in episode 2

by the way, the animation quality basically exponentially increases every episode. So the production quality by episode 6 is actually amazing

@@abdurrahmandureng The animation def gets better. They completely remade the models and lighting in ep2. In ep3 they upgraded from Unreal Engine 4 to 5, and at some point (ep 3 or 4), they got Kevin Temmer, a former Bluesky animator on the team as their lead animator.

I've binge watched all of GLITCH Productions, and while Meta Runner had lots of soul put into from animation and story telling, Murder Drones is a lot more captivating, and darker, which is very much to my liking.
That's Liam Vickers for ya, everything they make is amazing
Looking forward to Circus I have no mouth too.
Every GLITCH series has had it's own vibe. Sunset Paradise was both lighthearted and funny, with it's dark undertones and goofy characters. Like a sinister face wearing a harmless mask. Meta Runner was a mystery with uncertainty, filled with fun and hope. Murder drones is edgy, dark, and does not hide it's gore and darkness, but is very self aware at the same time.
The series gets deeper into horror and I love it more as it goes on

Episode 6 was peak horror in my book ... Episode 4 was a guilty pleasure because the one character that was going through an insurmountable amount of stress, let some of it go for a few minutes.

I actually saw the pilot ep when it was released
I find it best to rewatch all the episodes because the changes in character development that come at the end of each episode (and yes the relationships between characters get altered slightly by the end of most episodes) are usually blink and you'll miss it scenes so it gets a little confusing.
The whole lore is kinda confused tbh
Liam Vickers wanted the story to be all over the place. In an interview he expressed that he wanted the story of each episode to take two left turns. The crazy thing is, is that with all the plot twists the story doesn't actually contradict itself at any point.
I still find it weird how they just accept the disassembly drones among them. The only thing I found that makes sense is that they were programmed to keep working even if another drone was damaged. They just made sure to keep a sense of self preservation so they wouldn't purposefully destroy themselves.

Murder drones is the best animated series something new,different while these bigger companies just push aside new ideas and find a way to rehash older shows that can’t work in the modern era
It seems like with every single animation or new idea, studios expect it to be this lightning in a bottle, massively popular thing to put on their networks, but they're often not- at least not within the first seasons of these shows, which are usually the roughest anyways, as far as garnering an audience goes. Some shows, like Harvey Beaks (which was made by the creator of Chowder btw) or some others, are cancelled before their first seasons for seemingly no good reason all the time because they're not as popular as their most popular show. This completely neuters creativity.
I honestly think that if these studios want to bring back old properties and have it be good, they should hire fans. The recent Sonic comics are done by fans I believe, and are genuinely good at capturing the energy of the games in comic form. Chances are, fan artists will know the universe and what fans want more than these studios ever could dream of.

It gathered a lot of people attention people were enjoying it people loved, and then the second season got canceled in favor for animated kids shows inside job is it in adult animated and it’s window. One thing about adult animated series. When i watched episode 1 for the first time my immediate assumption was "oh they made it robots so they can be super gory without getting demonitized thats pretty funny".

Also, fair warning if you don't pause a lot/rewatch, you will get lost. Accept that now. It's extremely designed for the obsessive. But if you don't try to solve the mysteries It's still fun. Confusing as hell but fun. It didn't come across that way but there is more hidden in here than vizviepops videos. They just hide it in hard to find frames rather than the background. (Seriously I still can't catch everything @ 0.25x speed and I really need some way to unblur when I do catch stuff)
Also N does not remain brain dead & only gets more likable. I'm actually starting to theorize it's a super power of his to befriend litteraly anyone by simping to a concerning degree.

That is to say she's a corporate loyalist who hates it when her colleagues have class consciousness or any sort of solidarity really. Like, in Episode 4 someone goads her into breaking a chain by telling her the chain wants paid time off to attend a union negotiation.

Murder drones is so underrated imo, the fights are fun, characters are likable, and the story is great
Absolutely feel free to pause at points during this show. There are so many background gags (especially written ones) that are just hilarious.
Heads up, you’ll either want to pay VERY close attention to what’s happening, probably even rewatch to find anything you missed, OR watch analysis videos that explain things to you because there’s a ton of hidden lore that’s basically essential to understanding what’s going on.

The EMP never really cunfused me until recently, I always thought "Oh, the disassembly drones are shielded, makes sense that only Uzi is affected", however, in ep 6 (spoiler alert btw) both N and V are knocked unconscious with one, so I don't get it, Maybe it's a modified EMP made by Alice, but even then
Magnets also don't destroy their brains so maybe it is just a modified EMP, and J's was designed to only hurt workers
Beyond the main plot line I've given up on the creators being consistent and coherent.
It also knocked them out for way longer than J's did...
Might be different than what we saw in the first ep, the EMP in this one, just had Uzi fizz out for a bit, while the one in ep 6 seemed to trigger a boot loop of some kind. DD's might have shielding for their own but not for the other thing, which gives sense since it seems that its supposed to be a fail safe for all drone types.
I think it might be how in transformers animated ratchet can’t be knocked out by his own emp. So maybe because it came from one of the disassembly drones in the front lobby and drones can’t be knocked out by their own emp but could be knocked out by someone else’s.

Don't worry, Liam's plots are rarely very predictable. If you blow through the other episodes, you might what to check out the spiritual predecessor, _Internecion Cube._ What happened to Kirie may challenge your ability to 34.
Just wantvto point out, she was given full permission (including by her dad) to do what she did that lead the murder drones in so she actually never did do anything she wasn't supposed to.

I must have rewatched ep 1 dozens of times since it came out in 2021, but the last time I did was actually a while ago. Going back to it (with the point of view of someone new to it no less) with everything I know is weird but fun lol. Trust me, you haven't seen *anything* yet.

They’re untrained neural networks. The worker drones either take one out of a neural network storage area, or they build them with their own hands.
The “babies” are then uploaded with software traits from both the mother and father worker drones, and upgraded with worker drone parts as their A.I. develops and their sentience grows.
The drones don’t technically have hair, so Uzi had to have taken a purple wig from one of the deceased humans or possibly took Nori’s hair after she died.
(In case you haven’t gotten that far, Nori is the name of Uzi’s mother. Don’t worry, that’s not really a spoiler for anything.)
Ladies and gentlemen it’s my privileged honour to say that there IS murder drone “stuff” on the “green website” and it’s pretty premium stuff (there’s 4 which is my favourite)

This show is so dope I remembered catching the pilot but honestly I just wasn't interested in most of the other shows the Chanel was producing and it looked like a dead project cause it had been so long between episodes but I'm glad you reminded me I had to go back and get caught up

I really think Nux should go watch some of the other stuff Liam Vickers has done like the Cliffside pilot and "Internescion Cube". They both are a lot of fun and have a similar feel to this.
Murderdrones,while its pacing and the episodes first half dialog is pretty awkward, is great at respecting the viewers attention and tries to reward them for working out certain details themselves until they become important. The drones themselves are basically trying to mimick what they know about humans based off of their media or directive. The dissasembly drones act somewhat like secretaries or maids in the presence of each other because thats how theyre supposed to act around other humans, the original worker drones however don't really have personalities built in so they develop them over time and quite literally "play house" with the media they watch and extrapolate from, which is why they are actively saying tropes out loud to communicate what the intention is and things like a robot "being hormonal" are actively played up.
These awkward conversations eventually die down as uzi becomes more actually 'self aware' in a real sense and has contact with drones who have lived quite a while longer than she has, and therefore have more developed personalities and better assumptions about how humans actually work. The awkward tropey discussions only seem to come back whenever other worker drones are present, but uzi herself stops.

I enjoy murder drones. Though my only complaints with it is it feels like it has an identity crisis during the episodes. Especially the later ones. It feels like it wants to be a dark deep story but also a complete meme with nothing taken seriously at the same time
I honestly love it for that whiplash. Makes the sudden humor moments even better.

Yea, that's pretty much Liam Vicker's brand. Make something super dark and sinister and then give you absolute tonal whiplash.
