These people should not get life imprisonment, They should be tied to a tree and set ablaze themselves. Let them feel what those creatures felt and their human companions that lived in their homes and vehicles and jobs gone up in smoke!
What they've been through and that their home is gone is horrible. But a gym full of koalas calmly sitting in tents eating leaves and cuddling is about the sweetest thing I've ever seen!

@Uvuvwevwevwe Osas From what I'm seeing they're a real problem apparently. They're an introduced species and therefore feral. They've reduced their numbers to 300,000. Cats are also feral in Australia. It's a sad truth but culling has to be done to preserve native species.

It's amazing how quickly some of the koalas warmed up to and trusted the people that were helping them, I expected it to be more difficult with wild animals. Instead, you get what looks like genuine gratitude from the ones that are saved.

This is true but unfortunately many humans do not respect the life of animals. Maybe this tragic event will teach the uncaring that we share this earth with these beautiful angels and we must learn to care for them not destroy them.

Dylan Le All the surviving animals are loved and supported. They have been looked after by specialist carers. Many Queensland fruit bats for eg were taken to Australia Zoo. Lots of animals went to Taronga Zoo in Sydney. Wildlife sanctuaries took in wombats, birds, kangaroos etc depending on their area of expertise 😊
Thank you for all you do in taking care of these lovely and basically helpless animals. ❤️ 🐨 🦘 Was just in Australia for 9 days 2 weeks ago and saw the devastation near rainbow flat in northern NSW while driving from Brisbane to Sydney. Still can’t believe 200 arsonists were caught setting many of these fires, you have to be absolutely heartless to incinerate these helpless wonderful animals and everything some people have ever worked for that tried to either save their homes and couldn’t or died doing so. The arsonists deserve the same fate, those people are incorrigible and I wouldn’t feel a bit sorry to have them burned alive like they did to so many others

Thank you all for not just standing by, watching with apathy, using helplessness as an excuse. You didn’t say “well what can I do?” You went and you did something, however small.

1 min 22 sec into the video just love that momment were 2 koalas are sitting and hugs each other just so damn cute, and thanks to every 1 that have been part of this biiiig heartbreaking rescure and saving thise poor injured traumatized not just koalas but every wild animal, that has been cought up in the bush fires, GOD BLESS YOU ALL and my prayers goes al the way from tiny cold denmark, to every 1 of you both animals and humans in australia

Dylan Le All the surviving animals are loved and supported. They have been looked after by specialist carers. Many Queensland fruit bats for eg were taken to Australia Zoo. Lots of animals went to Taronga Zoo in Sydney. Wildlife sanctuaries took in wombats, birds, kangaroos etc depending on their area of expertise 😊
i wish all these gorgeous animals return to their habitat and be safe!they deserve to be happy again!love them so much

Thank you for all you do in taking care of these lovely and basically helpless animals. ❤️ 🐨 🦘 Was just in Australia for 9 days 2 weeks ago and saw the devastation near rainbow flat in northern NSW while driving from Brisbane to Sydney. Still can’t believe 200 arsonists were caught setting many of these fires, you have to be absolutely heartless to incinerate these helpless wonderful animals and everything some people have ever worked for that tried to either save their homes and couldn’t or died doing so. The arsonists deserve the same fate, those people are incorrigible and I wouldn’t feel a bit sorry to have them burned alive like they did to so many others
