i’ve made this a couple times and my tip is to remove it a little before you think it’s ready, personally i always think it’s too liquidy and continue for longer and longer and then my wax ends up way too hard. keep in mind that the consistency you are boiling it at will not be the same as you are waxing it with. simply because you aren’t going to put boiling hot wax on your skin. hope this helps 😋

DaJohnna Collins it’s suppose to be fast like a bandaid when taking off the sugar wax. There’s no point in slow because you’re trying to pull the hair out of its follicle so it takes time to grow back. And the pain tolerance is different for everybody. What may not hurt for me, may hurt for you. But from what I’ve read, a lot say it is less than? Again, it depends.

It works! Letting mine cool overnight but I'm so excited to try on my face! I used fresh lemon and 1 whole lemon squeezed yields the 2 tablespoons needed. Also if you don't have the cotton just leave a lip on the wax you spread out to grab onto and pull off. I'm leaving mine to chill overnight so I know it's cooled all the way. I'm allergic to the hair and other stuff but this didnt bother me at all! 😍😉

If you’re going to microwave it do it for 3 minutes and 30 seconds
If you don’t want it to harden then don’t mix it up with a spoon
DON’T use coconut sugar

Just one tip: the temperature depends where you're living. if you're living in a humidity region, then you need to rise up the temperature up to 270ºF. Believe me, I live in Valencia, Spain, the coast of the mediterranean sea and when the temperature rises to 250ºF my sugar wax stays liquid in the container, not solid like a candy.

You're only microwaving it for abt 15 seconds.. a quick 2 to 3 blows should cool it down enough to stop the wax from leaving any actual burns, it may feel warm going on still.

You actually have overcooked your sugar, add just a little bit of water and recook it. Cook it only upto thread stage, then it can be used as strips, if you cook it further it will be used as hard wax.
