I had a mentally abscent father and it strikes me how so much men who had good fathers are able to make something of themselves. And how others who didn't have that, have a tough nut to crack..
I am really happy for this fella having a great dad and realizing his potential.

I met Isamu and his father a few years ago at a championship. I competed to see who could do the most 360 spins with it. Isamu is fantastic! Lots of technique, super light style and straight to the point! Live he is even more incredible!

Being a very old school skater that I am, back in the day we used to think freestyle was the gayest thing. We skated bowls, Pools, pipes, and ditches, and it wasn't until Rodney Mullen came around and he made freestyle cool.

I was one of those nerds. I knew some of what I did looked a little ridiculous but it felt rad to do. Little did I know that skating would eventually come around to what we were doing. I never wore no damn headband but I did wear long socks (wore shinguards cuz ollie to pogo is hella painful without)
@brandonmason388 one of our friends did some freestyle, he was a precision technician with his skateboarding. He later become a doctor. He's proly gonna cure cancer

If y'all don't know about this kid, you should. I'm not a hardcore skater, but I skate around when I visit other countries, and I've met some people in Japan (I ride bike, BMX, motorcycle, rollerblades ETC," I'm just a jack of all trades. I met this kid in Kumamoto in Japan, and he's on some next shit. Kumamoto is a crazy skate heavy prefecture in Japan, I met a lot of skaters there, but this kid honestly surpasses a lot of heads there much older than him. I was chilling with a crew called Jungle Kumamoto, and they all swore by him, and I do, too. And he wasn't even a teen when I met him.

Hi nomad, it's my first comment (and first video i see) on your channel and i would like to share that freestyle is back, i can see i rising up all aroung on the internet community last years, and i am so glad it is finally happening :)
This Dude can do anything, just as you said. thanks you for showing his magic spells, it is a bold statement to tell someone is the next Mullen but this guy is totally worth this mention. I can even somehow see some points he looks even more familiar with the boards than Mullen itself

@@Theskatenomadthanks for your reply. To be clear, he is incredibly talented with zero doubt of the level of discipline and skill he has.
I was merely interested to see a platform of more random variables than that of the predictability of flatground in which is mostly predictable. His board and body control seems unparalleled and I'd like to see him operate in places that offer said variables where adaptability is more accessible. Enjoyed the video more than I can express and I'm just curious to the extent of this young persons talent.
