He's probably the best, yet most underrated song writer of our time. His lyrics are always so meaningful and multi layered he will say one thing and it will have 2 or three different meanings behind it. My top 2 favorite bands are Led Zepplin and Coheed and Cambria.
Ouch, someone, please get me an asprin, my mind just collapsed again from finding my new favorite song and being COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY... oh no, i'm going for the replay button!!my brain can't last even two doses of THIS songs epicness!!!
Claudio is one of the best when it comes to conceptualizing lyrics for his material. This song is perfect and can extend beyond the game. This would have worked so well for The Dark Knight film as well. Well done CaC, well done!!
i am growing to love this song too much, and i am a solid coheed fan i search it up a lot now! i remember when it just came out, i used to sneak into my boss' office when i worked at the car wash and listen to it quietly on his computer because i NEEDED to hear the chorus again!!
Coheed are my most favourite band as you say the lyrics have multi layers as i feel i relate to the songs even though i know i haven't been through what Claudio Has, in the UK Coheed get hardly any coverage in the Kerrang Magazine but luckily we Have Rocksound Magazine even though they dont do much on Coheed they realize and give them recognition as Good Apollo 1 was in the top 101 modern day albums at 94, yeah 94 but at least they where in the list. they are incredibly under rated in the UK.
nice to see you are open about that sort of thing but that is the reason blogs are made. Maybe you should look into making one, there are bound to be a few people who find your stuff interesting :).
Although many people argue that this song is the Joker's and his alone, one could actually see how it applies to people like Jack the Ripper. The Ripper was notorious for using the phrase Ha Ha in his sick letters to London police. In fact, this entire song sounds like one giant Ripper letter to Scotland Yard.
It's kinda strange that there's so many songs that are connected to arkham city or stated as inspired by it, but only one was actually featured in anything to do with it, which was "Short change hero" by the heavy (also used as the intro song for borderlands 2) used in a trailer for it.
R.I.P The Joker :(:( the next batman is gonna be epic just like the dark knight rises it will complete the series cannot wait for it :) chris nolan has brought the batman back to life :D
*SPOILER* Great song. But it's also more great, but even more brilliantly bridged once you compare it to the relationship between Joker and Batman, but telling from Joker's perspective. Proves even more that it's Joker's perspective once you get to the part with the "HAHA! HAHA! HAHA! HAHA!"
I wonder why games dont put "REAL" songs like this in there games? They make there own beats and put them in there. But like that they made Batman base songs to lisen to out of the game!
+Isaiah Winter It sounds like someone was desperately trying to add some lyrics to original background guitar and because of it it turned out so awkward. It does not feel natural and instead far-fetched with all those prolonged syllables imitating those riffs unlike in case of someone who creates melody in their head and then starts writing actual song. My ears are bleeding from that stuff. It's ugly.

If Coheed and Cambria wrote an entire album centered around Batman, I'd be more than fine with that...
Awesome story, i love people who cant go a day without listening to Coheed :D

Love Claudio
I can just picture The Joker saying these lyrics
@disturbedfranktank agreed. Coheed is my favorite band and while Batman may not be my favorite hero he is in the top 5. so either way. epic song.
If Coheed and Cambria wrote an entire album centered around taking a piss, I would be find with that. They are amazing!
This was definitely made to be from The Joker's perspective directed at Batman. I FUCKING LOVE IT, AMAZING SONG. x)
This song made me cry.
Man these are deep lyrics
I first heard this at one of their concerts. It was the only song I didn't recognize but i thought it was amazing.

You're so right. Thank you for carving a thought into my head.

I am sure that they would make an awesome job :)
I want this damn song so bad.
OF ALL TIIIIIIME!
I like that the majority of this song's lyrics are taken directly from the jokers mouth.
i love batman, and coheed even more so, when i found out about this song i came in my pants
I thought the same thing, then scrolled down and saw your comment. I think we could be friends.
KENNY YOU SNEAKY LITTLE DEVIL

Yazty!! Poor Mistah J
Perfect song to The Joker. o':
So freaking good?!
Good to see i can make someone climax :)
HOW IS THIS VID 12 YEARS OLD I THOUGHT THEY JUST RELEASED THIS SONG
Am I the only one that gets this...sad feeling coming from the song?
You realize now this means Batman and The Amory Wars take place in the same universe, right? haha
this song is so sad but i love it :''''''''(
No one better dislike this song.lol
I just creamed my pants.
lol sounds like a plan! XD
I wonder why games dont put "REAL" songs like this in there games? They make there own beats and put them in there. But like that they made Batman base songs to lisen to out of the game!
This song is actually really sad if you know how the game ends
*poison me (i pretty sure atleaste, dont judge if im wronge) GREAT FUCKIN SONG.
@Nygma1000 What your Point
@MrHimid I Don't encourage it but RUclips converter it
i dare all of you to look up pics of the joker while listening to this
What album is this from?!?!?!
Shamefully its not on a coheed album. Its only on the Arkham City soundtrack which was included in the limited edition of the game.
I wonder what it would be like if Mark Hamill sang this...
Its sad isn't it. You do all this for Gotham an the only person yo can rely on is ME. -The Joker
But I'd bet others knew it already XD
i think most people would :P
It is poisoning.
skinny is very fat :) love you @fatmetalgamefreak
so awful
That song is awful, the melody feels so laboured & uninspired.
your opinion
