Thank You Phil, Thank You Chris Chadwick....That is one neat-o looking piece of possibility Phil.... As you know I have been looking at (untouchable) burls all morning thinking of the possibilities. Gorgeous, Phil, absolutely gorgeous! Oh, sorry, Phil, I was referring to the burl, not you. Now, I’m not saying that you are not cute, but gorgeous, maybe not! 😂😂😂 Another awesome video, my friend. Really enjoyed this one! But then I enjoy all of them, don’t I. Stay well, …..Gord

Phil, there are a lot of great wood turners on youtube but honest, for me, you are one of the best. Not only do you create beautiful pieces but you do it with a great ammount of humility. You truely have a gift of caring for the pieces that you make.
Hello my name is Russell, and I am new to wood turning. I am not new to wood, I have been working with it 70 years. God has blessed you with a gift , and you are talented. Thank you for sharing it. I look forward to your videos every day! Russell
NICE! Only way to beat burls is a crotch Phil that's is simple beautiful! Go from smooth to silky soft is all I can come up with! Happy wood turnings to you Phil and you're followers!👍

every week you turn a wonderful item, I am running out of superlatives to describe your work 😊😊😊😊 Outstanding Phil,,, that will be this weeks one,,😂😂 keep it up
Another burl that has been turned by the guy. It looks very cool Phil. All the colors are nice but the inside tops it all off. I did see a face in the inside when you first held it up. And the finish is perfect for this piece. Sure a nice shellac finish for sure. My can of shellac as gone bad. Time to get another I guess. Problem was I thought I was saving money getting the gallon size. I can hear a shelf full of burls watching you come in. "Look out boys here he comes!" Great job buddy! Gary
I think I go through thee cans of sealer to one can of shellac, Gary. The wood just loves to soak up the sealer but it does a great job so not much shellac is needed. I'd never get through a gallon of the stuff. LOL! I'd love to have a shelf full of burls! 😃
Hi Phil, Glad that your choosing to put your wood blocks on your lathe before you start videoing, that way it stops any health and safety issues being shown. Love your bowl

Hello Phil, Welcome to another great day on this Amazing Planet we are so lucky to call Home 😊. I can't think of anyone better than you to coax the beauty out of a piece of timber. Davo from sunny beautiful Australia 😊.
Great job of getting through that thick bark on the bottom without loosing the bark on the edge. I think it’s a winner as well. Another beautiful piece from Shady Acres Woodshop.
Hi Phil, , It turned out beautiful! You have a god-given talent to create the perfect form that brings out the beauty of the wood! A friend gave me two huge cherry burls that i resawed to make two keepsake boxes for two of my granddaughter. They came out beautiful. Like you said,, you can't beat a burl😊 Tom 15:41
Truly beautiful Phil, but I think the true beauty lies in the fact that you have good friends who send you things that you can coax the sensational finished items from.
A beautiful horned bowl to take the scowl off of any man. I showed your video to Brenda, my wife, and she said I ought to take up turning now that I'll turn 76 in a couple of months. 😂😂😂 She was on her second glass when we watched your video. A gem. Thanks, Phil.
I'm up to my you-know-what in getting my garage reorganized and fixing stuff around the house. But to be honest Phil I am a total novice (read dumbbell) at fixing things. RUclips has helped me a lot.
