- Sup yall! First off, I'M SOOOO SORRY for not having posted a reaction video during the middle of the week. I'm getting pretty busy with my two jobs; I'm working over 60 hours a week. Therefore, I'm getting exhausted these days and it was harder than usual for me to push myself to not getting any sleep. However, I will make it up by posting two days in a row. I will be filming this video and the next one the same day, meaning that I'll be wearing the exact same thing in the two separate videos. So, don't be weirded out from that if ever you notice! XD
Sooo, I got a random wheel to decide on the Leningrad video I was going to react to because I couldn't decide between Louboutins, Tits, Cabriolet, Not a Paris and Drink in Saint-Petersburg. All of your votes for these songs were quite tight. As you can tell by the title of this video, it landed on Louboutins.
Leningrad's Louboutins: what a total treat!! It was so fun, funny and entertaining! I loved the video and how relatable it was: it essentially depicts all the process, pains, struggles and pressures of girls getting ready for a date. Ladies, holler at me in the comments section and tell me how you prepare yourself and what you wear on a date. Guys, I would like to know your process too ;P
It was soooo funny that I found one of my old headbands that looked like the one the girl was wearing in the video hahahah! And I like music videos that are related to the title of the song. Louboutins, I found out with the video story line and video, are a type/brand of shoe that seems really popular (Victoria Beckham was wearing them in the poster).
I love how I can relate to the girl in the video because she copied what Victoria Beckham was wearing, and I copy whatever the mannequin is wearing when I go shopping. Once again, I also do everything she did in the video, from judging myself in front of the mirror, to completely breaking down before a date.
Anyhow, regardless of how you feel or who you are, remember that you are beautiful just the way you are. And any person would be lucky and fortunate to date you. ;) Just be confident in your own beauty and FLAUNT IT!

I highly recommend to turn on subtitles when watching Leningrad videos. Ignore a song translation, but read them for intermediate scenes. Leningrad's videos usually tell a story that is usually much more interesting than a song itself, and without subtitles you lose a half of a story.
I just hope the subs in the dialogues are accurate!
As far as I remember, Convertible has computer-translated subs (but understandable), other subs are ok
In addition to international funny moments, preparation for a date, the clip has a dialogue with her mother, which, it seems to me, is difficult for foreigners to understand.

this video and other leningrad videos (exlude juju and voyage) highly needed english subtitles turned on for dialogs. PS girl from poor family getting ready for date with rich guy/ shoes are faked and it have no red basement as in the original

Voyage is sometimes spoken in Russia, but there are two more popular words. Trip no one says because there is a sexually transmitted disease called tripper(clap). In Russia, we speak either a long Russian word [puteshEstvie], or a short French word of three letters tour[tUr], which we have taken into our language and it is in our dictionaries.

Louboutins are really expensive designer shoes. They are known for their bright red soles. That is why she put red nail polish on the bottom of the high heels, she's faking the expensive stylish shoes. Ingenious! Lol!

However sometimes the subtitles are terrible, likely Google-translated line by line (like in the Cabriolet video, just read them).

I personally don't like 'In Piter We Drink' cause it's just too trashy for my tastes but it's also an accurate depiction of our sad reality lol

U need subtitles to understand the dialogs. And you can find out what was next from "tits" clip ;) Subtitles are nessasary, it's a lot of dialogs there

That`s no pain, in fact. I know, I live long enough.
My first wife was sawing herself and I loved her style. No problem at all. My second wife was a kind of freak, asking me before a business meeting, are these jeans and leather jacket is OK. Considering that I wear mostly my tracking shoes (my gosh, 12 or 15 thousand per pair. Versus 5 for general stylish suite shoes or 20 for hand-made super-duper ones. Jul spends 20 thousand for common boots or sneakers, just no idea why. But ok, they are never cheaper and she loves her shoes and god give us space to hold them). A military trousers (cozy, lots of pockets, no stains and minimally worn, even when rollerscating), some freaky shirts and a backpack (either travelling for 2-3 weeks, going mountain skiing, rolling or to the groceries).

It depends, I have mixed opinions from people about the subtitles. Some say its necessary, others say theyre terrible and distracting. Personally, the subs distract me from focusing on the video, but now that I know that all Leningrad vids have dialogues, I'll put the subs on. :)

The girl desperately wants to go on a date with someone "way out of her league"(that's why she can't just cancel it in the end of a clip, she feels like it's her only chance in life to get out of her poor and miserable life). Since she's an "artist" the guy then asks her on a date to an
Exhibition. She's so excited, but struggles with finding the perfect outfit, she dicides on "Vicki look", but lacks a pair of shoes, that would look like "Louboutin" (their characteristical feature is a red sole), so she calls her friend, who happened to have almost what she wanted.
So the thing is, it's not your usual date, the girl tries her best to pass as an elite, exquisite, strong and independant lady, not some cheap "trash" living with her mom in a small flat, having to do housekeeping and stuff.
