This is going to be a great Saturday! So many consider this just a standard 50s horror, but this gem did create a few zombie tropes that are still around. See you Saturday.
If people are still telling you guys to get better movies, they’re not watching every week! There’s definitely been better quality movies for at least the last year and Zombies of Mora Tau is one of them! Don’t take comments like these to heart guys! I’ve been watching your show for a few years now and between good guests and good movies, you’re doing just fine. Glad to have your show to watch every week. 😎👍
Love you John!! First saw you in "Forever Knight" still one of my favorite shows and you're still adorable. You and your smile! Thank you for good memories in all you were/are in!
I know what you mean. In fact I'm surprised, even shocked, they never talked here in their interview about his role on "Forever Knight". A vampire TV series would seem to be the perfect topic of discussion on a channel like Creature Features. By the way they have "Forever Knight" here on RUclips.
Creature Features again has frightened me. Mr. Livingston with a smile, along with "the eyes and ears of this institution" John, Vincent with more freakish excellent interviewing, and Tangella having ghoulish smiles throughout the show. Thank you Creature Features.
My sincerest thanks to John Kapelos for gracing us with his presence. Haven’t lost your touch at all my guy, great to see you again. Ps. Carl was the bomb, yo! Breakfast Club forever!! 👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽
As a kid, I was impressed by the effect when the released from curse Captain Peters disappears and his empty costume falls to the ground. Nice fx for the 1950s
Folks this is actually a pretty good old school Zombie flick from the great 50s “Atomic Age” sci-fi/horror /zombie genre. Yes it’s over the top, cheesy, but a enjoyable watch for all. Looking forward to this one. Thank you as always “Creature Features”…! Saturday night…here we come!!! 💯🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️💯
I love “The Zombies of Mora Tau” a great Sam Katzman Horror Film with 50’s Scream Queen “Allyson Hayes” ♥️ 👍🏻. Great job Tom, CF movies are getting better 🙂.
Dude, I love your energy. Island and tropical zombie movies always get to me. The idea of running from these horrors in the hot, humid jungle has a different feel than city and suburban zombie movies.
the original intro song is awesome the remake you use is one of the rare times when a song is "updated" while still being true to the original but the editing you use on the intro is top notch i esp like it when leelu punches the mangalores in time w the song killer \m/\m/
Not only did the 1950's give us the greatest invention of all time, the pointy bra, it was also the golden age of monsters! Americans had to deal with 'The Blob' and other alien invaders, 'The Creature From The Black Lagoon' , giant Tarantulas, killer robots, and in the case of saturday night... ZOMBIES! And that's just a few examples!.At least Americans didn't have to worry about the atomic bomb, because the gov't said it was easy to survive if you hid under a table and we know the gov't never lies!! Oh and if you think overseas was safer, there was a cute creature named Godzilla waiting for you! See you Saturday night!
During the Cuban Missile Crisis, we had to practice survival by hiding under our desks. It was years later when I realized the only relatively safe place to be during an atomic blast would be anywhere that I could look over at some and say, "What in the world was that?"
Great show. I,v seen that movie awhile ago I enjoyed it. I really like zombie movies. It did not show how they turned that woman into a living dead. Keep up the good work.
You are right Vincent. With me anyway. I watch politics like crazy, and when I get a little sick of it, I look for a short escape into fantasy, so I started watching Creature Features just recently. Love the super chat matinee where you get to read what others are thinking, and commenting as they view the movie at the same time. It's fun!
I'm surprised, even shocked, you never once asked John Kapelos about his role in the TV series, "Forever Knight", in which he plays a Toronto cop who's partner, Nick Knight, turns out to be an actual vampire. In fact the series borrows much from Anne Rice's vampire universe with the twist being the good guy vampire is a police officer. I'd think that Creature Features would want to find out more about a vampire TV series from one of the main characters/actors who stared in it given that vampires are part of the creature genre you promote and show in your movies. Whenever I think of John Kapelos I think first and foremost of "Forever Knight". You can find it here in fact on RUclips.
Hey Creature Features, I would like info on the music from TANGELA'S DANCE video. Who is playing guitar and who wrote that gem?! The guitar is so good if that's Vincent playing I would be surprised.
That movie was OK. There were a few plot holes, though. How could the recently zombified woman know what that box was if she’d never seen it before? Also, they never explained how the old woman knew how to stop the zombies by getting rid of the diamonds.
Wik'pedia says Kelly LeBrock is an American actress, born in NYC, 1960. After divorcing her 1st husband she married and divorced Steven Seagal. I loved her in 'The Woman In Red' ('84).
It's a great hosted horror show. Just like the kinds I used to watch a long time ago. Glad I found them on youtube a few months ago. Tangela is a drop dead cutie!!
I just started watching and saw the guest without knowing who he is but I automatically thought he could be the new Grandpa Munster for Rob Zombie. He's got the look and charisma of Grandpa Munster, I'd totally would cast him for the roll!
This guest did not get along with the cast much did he?? Any cast he filmed with he called them monsters and more. I think he is a bit of a snark myself. Otherwise love this movie. Corny but that is what makes these fun

Kapelos is freaken awesome! so witty and fun that i stayed just to see more of him! the movie was good, but the interview was Entertaining!
John Kapelos what a wonderful guest!
Agreed
Not really. He is kind of full of himself
Right on. One of my favourites.
@@melissastruxness512 Its called "charisma".... "personality".
Terrific movie!! And wonderful to see John Kapelos! Thank you, Creature Features. ~Sharon

What a fantastic movie!! One character was named George Harrison. I wasn't aware of George's pre-Beatles film career! 😎✌🏻☕️🥯😀☘️☘️

Kapelos is HILARIOUS! Loved his take on the Boston accent. Always enjoyed his movie roles. Lovely guest, Vince!
I saw this when I was 7 yrs old, and it scared the crap out of me! This has always been one of my favorite zombie movies!
What a great guest this week! Congrats on the 40K :)

I absolutely love this channel.
I actually liked this movie ! I really love you all too !
Tangella’s skill with the hula hoop is impressive , but it prove hypnotic and distracted me from the opening sequence with mr Livingston and Vince .
Loved that episode with the sniffing lawyer😂😂😂😂
This starts off w/a bang! I don't remember seeing this, it looks like fun!
The lovely Autumn Russell who plays Jan in this film is still alive at the time of airing at the age of 92!
Amazing!
I am sooo "Hooked on" your 'tubecast, you have me commenting as well !
Creature Features should try to get the movie "The Man Who Turned to Stone" too.
Haven't heard from this premiere but I like zombie movies hope this premiere is good and scary looking forward for this zombie movie 👍🏼
Lovely, lovely
"I may be stranded on an island with zombies chasing me through the jungle, but I'm still gonna wear high heels!"

I remember seeing this on Shock Theater out of Chattanooga in the 70s.

This movie actually scared me a little bit.....when I was eight !! (saw it at the drive-in in 1958 with my parents)

right at the end John dropped a 'Blood Theater' reference LOL!
This title is new to me. So, this is one more premiere experience coming up for me this Saturday. I look forward to seeing everyone's comments.
How does Tangella hula hoop so slow and not let the hoop fall?
Just looked this one up ! Looks good , heck , zombies can't be bad right ? 🤣

LIKE #13! This better be good.
I'm glad to see something more akin to the original Zombie legends then the modern brain eating eating zombie apocalypse tropes.

Is it really premiering at midnight?
Eeesh. We almost messed that up. Thank for catching that and the frisbee, Zeno.

Great Balls of Fire!
Tangella is how old? Is she related to Wednesday?
So throwing diamonds in the water is destroying them? 🤔
I would have thought there would be fire or a grenade or something.
Just read 'feisty' Grandma Peters really perks things up in this movie. We'll see.....
John K reminds me alot of Bill Murray.
Wet zombies are the worse kind.
They smell like dog.
Seen this one recently..there is one or two goofs in the plot.. And I will just show up and BE goofy :P

You mean all these two women do is scream. They don't fight back???
Some old movies are still good stores (and decent acting), this is not one of those
This guest did not get along with the cast much did he?? Any cast he filmed with he called them monsters and more. I think he is a bit of a snark myself. Otherwise love this movie. Corny but that is what makes these fun
Haha, at 1:09:53 he slaps her right earring right out of her heat, ha.
What...was she wearing an evening gown to bed!?
They keep bringing up "The Walking Dead" - hmm
