Hiroyuki Sanada is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE actors! I've followed him since he was a child with SONNY CHIBA! Such a distinguished, fantastic person. I love the passion he brings when he's often portraying the culture and history of Japan. The scenes with him feel so authentic, im questioning wether he was there to experience it. He has been internationally known for many years, but it's beyond time he gets a bit more credit for his amazing portrayals.
After his incredible work in Shogun, I’d love to see Hiroyuki Sanada take on a Lone Wolf and Cub TV adaptation, with him starring as the legendary Ogami Ittō.
TOTALLY AGREE! I can't believe this FANTASTIC MARTIAL ARTIST hasn't been given his own big budget MARTIAL ARTS ACTION MOVIE. He need to play Oda Nobunaga, he had those complex persona between good and evil in him that fit Oda description. Of course we need to see his loyal retainer Sasuke, the first and the last black samurai..
Glad Mr. Sanada is getting more recognition for his work in the film industry. I only know a small portion of his work, mainly in the US. But I did see Twilight Samurai when I was just starting to get into Japanese film.
Words cannot express how much I respect and adore this man's work.
Amazing!!! legendary Hiroyuki sanada sensei!
Loved the first 2 episodes. Love Mr Sanada's work.
After his incredible work in Shogun, I’d love to see Hiroyuki Sanada take on a Lone Wolf and Cub TV adaptation, with him starring as the legendary Ogami Ittō.
From the day I watch his movie the last samurai, I love watching any of his movies, he's a great Actor
Remember watching Shogun in the 80's. So this series bringing back memories. But absolutely stunning series.
Such a humble man... truly a legend of our times. A beacon to keep the spirit of and the Samurai as a whole, alive for thousands of years to come.
Hiroyuki Sanada should play Miyamoto Musashi in a BIG budget film.
TOTALLY AGREE!
I can't believe this FANTASTIC MARTIAL ARTIST hasn't been given his own big budget MARTIAL ARTS ACTION MOVIE. We've seen JET LI, DONNIE YEN, JACKIE CHAN, and TONY JAI all STAR in their own martial arts movies. Before it's too late Hiroyuki should get one.
I'd love to see him play THE LONE WOLF AND CUB OGAMI ITTO!
Another idea: I believe he'd be perfect to play Lord Shimura in Ghost of Tsushima adaptation.
@@MatiZ815 oh wow, that I would like to see
He need to play Oda Nobunaga, he had those complex persona between good and evil in him that fit Oda description. Of course we need to see his loyal retainer Sasuke, the first and the last black samurai..
@@thomasjuniardi3559You mean Yasuke the black samurai.
Glad Mr. Sanada is getting more recognition for his work in the film industry. I only know a small portion of his work, mainly in the US. But I did see Twilight Samurai when I was just starting to get into Japanese film. He's been one of my favorite, "That guy" actors, and I'm glad for a lot of people he is no longer "That guy" but a distinguished talent and force in the film industry.
Extreme dedication from Hiroyuki Sanada, huge respect 🙏
Amazing show, impressed. We need more like these.
I was 20 when the Shogun miniseries came out and at the time everyone liked it, but this series blows it out of the water! It’s a work of art and I love how the women’s roles are very well written and acted. All due to Hiroyuki’s involvement as a Producer. I hope Hollywood lets him do much more. I loved him in Westworld too.
first saw him in last samurai alongside ken watanabe who were "The Japanese Actor for Hollywood", and now Hiro has become more than that
Without question, Mr. Sanada is a joy and a privilege to work with, I’m so thrilled for his success and for everyone on this production! I hope he gets to helm as many more projects as he wants to going forward. He truly is everything they say, and more. Bravo, Sanada-san!
This is a masterpeice so far. I hope more people give it a chance. Hiroyuki Sanada is a legend. So glad he finally gets a true leading role in America with great writing. Makes sence the show is so good if he is a producer aswell.
Hiro is absolutely amazing. I didn't even know who he was because I never watched any films he acted in. Now I am a fan and can't wait for the sequel! Also, he is so handsome, I couldn't take my eyes off him.

Fantastic actor/producer and series is a must watch.
Sanada acting is spectacular……
Hiroyuki Sanada is one of my absolute favourite actors and I feel is truly under appreciated by some.
The ending had me shedding tears😢 I need more
Hiroyuki Sanada deserves the world - Im over the moon he is in the forefront of this incredible show - I pray more health so he can carry on in his work!
He’s awesome. Loved him in the last samurai as well, he doesn’t say much, but when he finally accepts and respect Tom cruise’ character he gets a little nod of respect, I loved that
You got to respect Sanada San on how serious he’s taking this job. He really taking his job as producer on this project seriously and making sure all the details are right. First episode was awesome. Looking forward to more.
Hiroyuki Sanada is a legend! I have been watching his work for YEARS. It makes me smile to know that Hollywood has given him this opportunity to display his genius in front and behind the camera.
