She mentions her mother and sparks my comment, Kentucky gentleman here and love to cook and made fun of for hanging out with grandma and ashamed I didn't pay more attention when canning and pickling. I will never forget when I came over and Harlan and Claudia Sanders were there, my grandma was known for her skillet fried chicken and I'm totally sure 5 of those 7 secret recipes are hers in KFC etc. Back in the day you didn't have store bought meats, so you had to make wild game and what raised taste good. She made rabbit and squirrel taste way better than chicken. 🙃😎😘😇

My mother made a red velvet cake like supreme, you land right in there, she managed a Holiday Inn and made her supercede I think and a mother that tasted with comments 😂etc. She was also an antique dealer and back in time she did. Vast knowledge of glassware and furniture. 😮

Grew up in Bmore (still live in Bmore) and have had Many Very expensive Baltimore a peach cakes. My local bakery back in the 60's always put confectionery sugar on top their peach cakes. Try it. My recipe is a little different than yours, but it doesn't matter. Thank you, Bryan.

I made a chocolate cake off pinterest. It was awful, not sweet enough and dense as cornbread. Im sure Martha's will be a much better try. Everything I make of hers turns out phenomenal.

If you cut that strawberry cake into 12 pieces, each serving would be over 1 stick of butter each. A stick of butter has 92g of fat.
Oh my gosh! Made beautiful Angel Food Cake only to cut off top and take out center? Better left alone and just put frosting on top. Less is more.

Authentic Tiramisu is NOT made with lady fingers (which are british) or coffee "syrup." Italians make it with sponge cake and use actual coffee. Coffee syrup would create an imbalance in the amount of sugar, resulting in a grotesque flavor.
