Excellent deep dive on wines of Argentina..! Upon reading reviews, just today I bought 4 bottles of Mendoza Malbec 2020 Signature line at Costco for $6.99 each..! 😲 One blind taste reviewer I watched said it would be a great buy at twice the price... I would have to agree, and I'll be stocking up more soon. I'm also keeping eye out for Melbecs from other Argentine regions..., but the Costco Signature, along with canned sardines, will help me daily, and to prepare my pantry for the zombie apocalypse... 🧟♂️😄🙏💞 Blessings
As a proud Argentinian we have many varieties of wine and different regions!!!! If you ever find yourself in Argentina please try any of our many wineries and our meats and you will not be disappointed, our Malbecs which we are most known for goes great with any asado and our most popular white wine Torrontes goes great with empanadas!!! My family is from Mendoza, Argentina, I remember my grandmother telling us how she made money when she was a child picking grapes; She was paid per basket then. I never got the chance to visit there from the USA but I would too.
I actually searched on the map. There is indeed a town known as San Carlos in Salta, which like many other locations in the country shares the same name as the wine-growing GI you meant in Southern Uco Valley. So yeah… the video is correct. No mistake there.

Argentina have an increduble variety of climate and soils, that is magnific to all the grapes variety. I am proud of your video in my country ♥️

I believe there is a mistake of 7:31 as San Carlos should be a department under Uco Valley, but not under Salta.
