The chain stitch fonts I've seen look more like a "run stitch" font that uses a chain instead of a run. I've tried making one into an ESA and it doesn't work. BUT - if you want a fill, try outlining the letters first (Create Outlines & Offsets), change to a fill, apply the chain but It's going to have to be a pretty large font.
@LindeeGVideos I was looking for the chain stitches you mention in the video, I went to the link in the description and then from there at the bottom of the page it has a link for 'access the free design' which opens to the 'crazy patch heart' design... I though that zipped file was the one with .esa files of the chain stitch in (but it wasn't). Do you still have the chain-stich motif files somewhere? Would really appreciate it if you do... thank you 😊

Great! Now to figure out how to put your stitch into the Hatch Library .. 😂
Fun 😊
Lindee, thanks so much for this tutorial, so helpful. Especially the tip about start and end!
Hi
How can I apply this to a lettering fill. I saw like chain fill stitch to a fonts. Or is just a esa fonts already created ?

Hi Lindee, thank you for this design, however when I opened the zip file, I have found no .esa file with the motifs in.....?
What file are you talking about?
The heart design is an EMB design, not an ESA.
