Selling is a vital part of any business, of course sharks are going to press on it. As shown selling can happen before manufacturing, so that is not really a good excuse.
The main point is shows bad drive if the entrepreneur does not sell, rather than a flaw in the business plan. It's the entrepreneur being questioned, not the product.
That being said Steve was being harsh, but everyone else was quite fair.

Most people nowadays have rotary lines, so my idea was to have a rotary line but with an umbrella covering the washing. Oh how we laughed and after a few pints we decided to steal one from our local beer garden. Well we weren't laughing later when the police arrested us, pissed up, on our way home, on a stolen push bike thinking that we had somehow managed to conceal a giant umbrella.

The Shark's showed themselves in a bad light in this one.Of course the business in still on the drawing board,it has no revenue, the entrepreneur clearly wanted a shark to mentor her fledgling business. I am glad that in the end she received advice and support from the Shark's and Naomi offered her substantial assistance for free meaning that all is left to do is monitor the progress of the business that they clearly rejected on the basis that it was an Idea not a business .Hopefully the Shark's will have egg on their faces over this one.

The metal pipe 5 bucks tops.
The rest maybe 1 to 2 bucks.
    Packaging and delivery tops 2$.
I am quite sure she can get all the parts besides the pipe for 4 to 5 bucks.
I am not sure in aus but they probably got a pipe manufacturer there. If you use pvc instead of metal maybe you can get it for 3 bucks.
