Billal not at many refineries. As a Safety Supervisor I occasion had to walk job sites and verify that everyone that was on file as needing corrective lens was indeed wearing corrective lens and if they weren’t they had to be reported the my director who then reported it to the site owner and that generally led to them being blacklisted from ever working on that site again. Some chemical leaks can result in horrible reactions with contacts and since safety glasses don’t provide 100% seal there’s still a serious risk there and thus many sites don’t allow contacts or allow contacts only if wearing safety goggles (which most people will tell you are extremely uncomfortable).

He didn't say how much the clip ins were but they most be way cheaper than safety glass ones. Great idea and good luck to him.
