Trying to figure out why my 2000 Ford Windstar passenger side front door window gets stuck in the full up position. I have replaced the motor and lubricated the track and checked it for lose parts but it still does it. Only way to free it is to remove the door panel and loosen the motor fasteners then it works again. We try to remember not to raise it 100% if we do leave it down slightly if never gets stuck. Has anyone had that issue and figured out what to do to get a permanent fix?
@@YXEFlatl1ne I replaced the motor a second time (under warranty from Oreilly Auto parts) apparently the Oreilly units are remanufactured original Ford Motors and I just got a bad rebuilt one that first time around. Poor ole van is just barely holding together it is the true Moniker of FixOrRepairDaily. Latest is the HVAC suction line refrigerant leak, now that R134a has gotten so expensive this may be the death blow to the old girl. We only kept it t haul the 3 fosters kids around in anyway its nickname is "The Kid Hauler". They are going back to their Dads in May of this year (2023) after 5.5 years YIPPPEEEE and van can retire LOL.
this video helped me, thank you for making it

My window won’t stay on it’s track, is this the thing I need to get or should I get a new door? The button works and it goes up and down
