When you said delish I immediately thought you should call these cooking videos, "Delish with Trish".
Hundo!!!
Now that she is a mommy a beautiful name out with the old and in with the new
That is the perfect name!
No
Yes..that would be awesome
Seeing this compared to dominoes ordering Trish is just so fulfilling 💗✨ love this season in her life
its just as unhealthy LMAO
@@whereamihelpme at least she’s saving some money though! Ordering in can get pricey!
I noticed dominoes ordering Trish always had a sour mad look on her face but she's so much more mellow in the face now and her personality glowing it's so so sooo nice
@@whereamihelpme food wise maybe but mentally??? What a transformation lol
@@whereamihelpme do you not eat lasagna? You’re boring
Always think lasagna is best the next day. Just think the flavors sink in more and it just taste better 😋
I sometimes assemble them the day before and keep it in the fridge until it's time to bake. Makes dinner time easier, and the flavors can meld.
same with chili!
I have that same opinion about spaghetti. 😋
My recipe is identical, except I add way more mozzarella cheese on top, and I let mine sit for 15 minutes before cutting it. It stays together much better if you let it "set"
Yes. Let it sit!! I put spinach in mine, otherwise the same
I’m genuinely so happy you found a good husband he’s so kind to you you guys go so well together you look absolutely so happy I feel so so so happy for you ❤
I’m happy you found your love 💕
P.s you can use no boil lasagna noodles which is just as good and is a game changer. Add a bit more sauce and Cooked it a bit longer . But I honestly haven't boiled lasagna noodles in so many years. You can also get "fresh" noodles too at the grocery store
Its Trish really always in this kitchen cooking for me Omg!!!!!
Y’all she said he fav thing to do is make sauces in the kitchen!! I never thought I’d hear her say that!! So happy for Trish and her fam!!❤❤
If you let lasagna cool a bit before cutting, it will set. Then it is easier to lift .
Looks good! But u can always add some garlic powder, onion powder, pepper to the meat no matter what, just elevates the flavor of the entire dish(:& season the ricotta! my mom adds some grated parmesan , garlic onion pepper lil salt and parsley - SO GOOD
Yes. That’s the way I do it too. The large container of ricotta I add 3 eggs, fresh grated Parmesan, mozzarella, fresh chopped parsley, s&p, on the top layer of the lasagna I add grated mozzarella, Parmesan, and fresh mozzarella and fresh parsley. It makes a difference for sure. But I’m not knocking what she done it’s her first one she done great even made the sauce which I would’ve seasoned more too lol
And normally that’s enough ricotta to make lasagna and stuffed shells.
@@tiffanyb4764 yes i forgot to mention the egg loll
@@a1yssaa lol I read egg in there so I guess I now add words when I read lol
@@a1yssaa or I just thought it sounded a lot like mine!
WOW, IM ITALIAN AND YOU DID A TRADITIONAL LASAGNA. YOU ARE BCOMING AN EXCELLENT COOK.
jus need some seasonings in that meat
@@a1yssaa that’s what I was thinking! she did say this is her first time cooking ground meat though, so not adding seasoning makes sense
Congratulations Trish, my Italian Nonna would be so proud of you.. My first dish I ever cooked with my Nonna was lasagna at the age of twelve.. Lasagna is way much better the next day... Love your cooking videos, and love you and Moses💋🤓
Yum!
Lots of Italian American people make lasagna for Christmas because it’s really a labor of love. My family puts layers of fried eggplant and sliced Italian sausage in there too!
Send me the recipe?? Please!!
That sounds so good, like eggplant parmesan married lasagna 😍
@@MOI-qq8zc sure.
Here’s my best try, don’t normally do “recipes” just add things until the souls of my ancestors tell me it’s good. 😉
First you need to make a good sauce, preferably scratch made & home grown: first brown your ground meat (a mix of beef & pork or whatever you prefer, I love it with ground chicken thighs) add a little wine & scrape up the bits of flavor; stir in tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, bay leaves, s&p to taste, and hot pepper flakes if you like. Cook it down low & slow 2 hours or longer for as thick as you prefer.
Layer sauce in lasagna pan first, then noodles, more sauce and sliced, browned Italian sausage, noodles again, a layer of GOOD ricotta (or cream cheese mixed with a bit of sauce, as my brother prefers) mixed with an egg, some parmigiana and chopped parsley, then more noodles, sauce, a layer of fried eggplant [peel, slice, salt, drain, squeeze, batter, and fry crisp in olive oil (also good with zucchini, cucuzza or mirliton instead of eggplant)] another layer of noodles, finally sauce, mozzarella and pecorino cheese on top.
Cover w oiled foil & bake about 45 minutes (or longer if she’s thiccc), uncover to brown well about 15 more minutes.
Tips: 1- Let it cool before trying to cut or you’ll get a mess instead of squares, 2- substitutions are great, 3- for a variation add spinach or arugula to the ricotta, 4- OR try alternating layers of pesto and bechamel (white sauce) instead of your tomato sauce and use artichoke hearts instead of the eggplant, 5- no matter how you do it’s better the next day, 6- and it freezes/reheats very well.
Hope you enjoy!
@@lucindab3611 thank you for typing all that it sounds amazing cant wait to try!! i KNOW its gonna be good
@@lucindab3611 wait what temp do u put the oven on
Put dawn dish soap on your dress where the oil and sauce is let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes the lightly scrub under hot water and it should come right out
It's nice to see someone kind and loving next to you conquering the world beside with you. Sweet. Congrats on baby Malibu! Precious!
Having a family to cook for so much better than just ordering in for yourself
Sometimes in my meat sauce I add onions, garlic, and peppers. Sometimes I add mushrooms. And I make a killer veggie lasagna (no meat, no tomato sauce, and your sauce is home made Alfredo sauce with noodles. The veggies I use are carrots, broccoli, onion, peas, and spinach. You can add chicken to the Alfredo veggie lasagna if you want.
That veggie lasagna sounds good!
@@jessicah3450 It’s amaze balls! It’s my homemade version of the stouffers veg lasagna. And of course add spices and whatever other veggies you want. To make home made Alfredo, you just need butter, heavy cream, and shredded (not the can sprinkle like cheese) fresh Parmesan cheese (can buy in a container but you can tell it’s shredded) and spices and fresh garlic.
You shoud always let the lasagna REST for 30 minutes minimum but amazing job! Love it!
also you can run cold water over your pasta when its done and sitting to prevent over cooking& easier/cool enough to handle
Trisha, the longer you let it sit and cool the more it will set up. If you like more cheese and noodle then do each layer separately. 1 layer meat, 2nd cheese, 3rd meat, 4th cheese and so on. My family loves a more cheese and noodle lasagna so that's how I do it. Totally try it.
Also the first layer add a noodle or 2 extra for structure purposes. And to each other layer if you want.
Just watching this… like y’all are so adorable 💕 so cool how when you meet someone they just are so perfect for you
Love her cooking videos, so soothing ❤
Great job Trisha! Nice to see you cooking new things. Seeing that you both kept eating means it was tasty.
After a lasagna fail (that my boyfriend did lol) I need to re-do it again soon, I’ll follow this recipe because it looks so good! 😋👌
Just spray the dress with some Shout, let it sit 1 minutes and the grease will come right out of most things! Of course you can order another if it doesn't come clean, but remember, money you spend now will not be available when you retire! I know I used to forget that and now that time is here, I wish I had more in savings and less in things!
Man now I'm craving lasagne it looks so good
Trisha can you let Moses talk??? geesh.
That looks so good! Next time you can use barilla no boil lasagna! It’s easier so you don’t have to burn your fingers off and works just the same!❤
gonna make lasagna today ❤️
i love how i can always be watching you trish
thank you so much for how much content u give us
I cook my pasta sauce backwards from how you did it lol I fry up the onion and garlic first till they’re almost done then add the meat and cook it then add my tomatoes and sauces. Looks delicious Trish! Proud of you!!
why proud she made lasagna not like she won a noble prize
@@sharonyoung3393 calm down negative Nancy. She’s someone who never use to cook. She would always order out food or go out and eat. She started learning how to cook and is doing it more and more now. Just saying proud of her for changing her lifestyle and being better. Geez.

Lasagna is ALWAYS better the next day!
I literally am obsessed with your cooking videos. Pls don’t stop!!! Let’s see that ziti!!!!!!!
Veggie lasagna instead for me sounds so good this weekend ❤️
What ingredients do you use?
Lasagna has to be left to cool for at least 20 mins before it sets up nicely so that it can be cut into rectangles and hold together.
Any pasta is always better the next day. All the flavors really soak in and amazing
Lasagna the next day is sooooo good. So much better than fresh out oven haha
These videos are making me want to cook more at home
lol
This is really fantastic unintentional ASMR
I thought when she said this is gonna be her last cooking video I was like noooooo
But then she showed her belly and I like oh OK. Lol.
I always do lasagna with beef . Sometime I do both beef and pork sausage
It’s so nice to see you smiling and being happy!!! Congratulations on your new family and home. ❤ Newark Jersey ❤💫
"This dress is a sauce magnet!" Lol! So cute!
Taking notes 📝👍🏾
🥰❤🌷 H.E.B. sells these vegetable noodles. Made with all veggies and a little bit of wheat. There super yummy ! 😋❤
beef bolognese is the one btw love making it homemade
Girl you've improved so much! Can't wait to see what you make for Malibu when's she's a lil older
The recipe with the potato is a Greek dish called moussaka 😍
Traditional Moussaka is made with Aubergine….🙂
I love the cooking videos 😍
Lower the flame when cooking the chopped meat. Cook it until all the pink is out of the meat. You can put the lasagna into a bath of cool water once done cooking to Al dente. This decreases the chance of them sticking together. Try some pecorino Romano cheese and mozzarella in the ricotta. Enjoy your beautiful meal. It looks great!!! God bless you and your baby.
Anybody ever tried subbing in cottage cheese for ricotta? Heard it’s good!
Omg saute onions then add mince n then add sauce puree ! U cook all the flavours marinating together girl! Omg

Craving this today
@trish you need a kitchen aid mixer. There amazing for mixing stuff. You would love it ❤
Why does everything she make look so yummy
actions speak louder than words, so trust actions and not words.
You should make French onion soup.. you could get bread bowls to serve it in.. yummy.
I always make a lasagna before I have baby. Easy to eat for few days after baby comes.
Wanted to re on end another recipe, Pioneer Woman Lasagna. Love her recipes!

I’m so curious to know how close this video was filmed until you went into labor.. 😂
She even had her babies name on her necklace!
Trish is the cutest 😭
OMG THE NECKLACE!! She really said this is my baby's name before actually saying it.
And soup. I Love homemade soups
Such a sweet video ❤
next time u run out of sauce at the end maybe u could try adding a tiny bit of water to get the rest that’s stuck to the pan (:
moussaka is the dish with potatoes Moses was talking about
You’re meant to leave it and not eat right away, as it cools it will form up, so it’s not a mess coming right out of the oven.
You can use zucchini as your noodles.
We have lasagne with bechemel sauce in the UK on the whole......I'm going to have to give this recipe a go though x
it’s also a northern italian thing!
I really enjoyed watching you make this! I truly am going to make this. Congratulations on your baby. She’s adorable!
You needed to turn the heat down after you browned the meat, and yes you mash the meat up. Even cook/add a bit more meat sauce next time I think. It looks really good though.
U do good Cooking
Gr8 job girl!!
Trisha guess what i’m a month and a half pregnant! any tips or warnings lol you feel like my second mom so i’ll take any advice ❤

Trisha needs a cute custom apron.
I can’t have lasagna without cottage cheese 🤤
You spelled "ricotta" wrong lol jkjk my mom used to use cottage cheese cause it was cheaper than ricotta. I feel like you either love it or hate it. 🤷🏻♀️🥰
Cottage cheese all the way❤ I won’t make lasagna without it & I always put me an extra scoop of cottage cheese on the side of my plate lol yyuuuummmmmm
