I can relate - my mothers sister is like your mom and her husband is the calm one, not sure about if he is simple though-when he likes changing up his Mercedes cars. My dad also could not deal with my mothers energy as well as other things. Yes, it seems relationships like that work. I was into this seemingly calm guy who could not however deal with my emotionalness/reactions-he would react back and get mad. He would call me names like dramatic at times I expressed how I felt. I also have a friend who calls me names as well like drama queen, which I find insulting and unfair.

As far as I'm aware, they had a rocky and toxic relationship at the beginning of the quarantine, because Moses wasn't as invested and Trisha over stepped boundaries and got possessive. In a frienemes episode after things got really bad they almost broke up, so Trisha went to see a counselor to try and be a better partner for Moses and Moses decided he was all in because she was getting help. That's when they really started to look like a typical loving couple.
