I have basically nothing in common with my bf. We have different beliefs, views on things. Even with things like what’re considered good manners we disagree on and well have been dating for 3 years this month and are very happy. And to have the other person allow you to look and have messages and passwords is not what fixes the problem. The person who is cheated on has to fix that problem within themselves in order for it to be resolved. Ultimately she’s pushing that insecurity onto a new relationship and that just makes that person doubt you back that you will never trust them no matter what they do.

When you're in a relationship and you know that the other person has gone through cheating, its good to give anyone that reassurance that you're with them and that you are faithful. And to have the other person allow you to look and have messages and passwords is not what fixes the problem. The person who is cheated on has to fix that problem within themselves in order for it to be resolved. Ultimately she’s pushing that insecurity onto a new relationship and that just makes that person doubt you back that you will never trust them no matter what they do.

When you're in a relationship and you know that the other person has gone through cheating, its good to give anyone that reassurance that you're with them and that you are faithful. I think what a lot of people are forgetting is the “behind the scenes” or “off camera” parts of their lives. They are engaged, they live together, they have decided to make a life together. Watch their content or don’t watch it. But we won’t ever know everything unless they want us to.
