Firestar didn't play ANY games in this arc. One of my favorite passages is "the stars in his pelt rippled as if every muscle pulsed with anger. He looked as powerful as a badger." After Ashfurs threat on Squilf.

That one scene with him and Crowfeather made me laugh so much
He was awesome in this arc, I actually quite enjoyed seeing him

I love how Lionblaze and Sparkpelt possibly got their love of battle/brutally attacking/ murdering from Firestar.
We can also assume that because Jake was very nice and peace seeking that Firestar inherited his violent urges from his mother

Not gonna lie, I actually LOVED this part because the sheer shock on Darkstripe's face was totally amazing. Also like, how Firestar scared the daylight out of Ashfur. Also the fact that Darkstripe is FINALLY gone.

ashfur possessed bramblestar when he was newly dead and firestar possessed rootspring with his consent, i think the rule is that you can only possess if the body is newly dead or if you get permission from the soul inhabiting it to take control
basically you can only do it if the body isn’t gonna fight back
They can only possess a spirit or empty body... maybe. Its confusing.

I loved this part! Seeing him reunite with Firestar and just get murdered, it was hallarious. I will miss him though. In Into the Wild Darkstripe seemed like a tough intimidating cat but later on he just seemed smaller. But I do like him.
Even though Akira didn't enjoy the Firestar possessing Rootpaw part of the book, damn did she do a good job on voice acting.
as someone who stopped reading after arc 4, seeing bits of these arc 6/7/whatever storylines with characters who died some 10 books ago still relevant is very funny to me
or some 40 books ago more like it
