I would love to hear some of the traditional style in which you Guys do dating and marriage. Do you mostly date from inside the community or socialize with other communities like yours and Marry outside of the community or what is the general way?

Hi Adina, I´m from Germany and a christian, too (I´m a baptist). My parents lived a long time in russia and haved there a hard time as "russian-germans" and as christians. Much things in your life in the community reminds me of the life of my ancestors.

Ice cream's always a good idea even if it's freezing!! Love the video, Adina! What's your least favorite flavor of ice cream and why?
I'm in Columbus OH, Winters have been mild. But one winter weekend last year, my dad called me Saturday morning and was like we're getting a major snow storm on Sunday, we need to go to the store. So I woke up, changed, and we went to the store. Other than that last Winter was mild, no idea about next winter which is around the corner, we're losing daylight fast now. I always have extra food in the winter. Next month I should order a pack of hot hands, they keep you warm. And last winter my dad got me an UGG blanket for my bed, soooooooooo warm I have to take it off half way through the night.

Just stubbled across your vlog! What fun! You seem like a very fun person, extraverted! I grew up in Saskatchewan ( i spelled it right! I think, lol) it is very nice to learn about a part of my canadain culture that i only speculated on. I love community living. I was able to live with a group of people in Alaska for a few months. Praise the Lord!

What do you find most exotic?
I'd say Italian, Greek, Lebanese,are heavy influences(depending on what grows here), and are as traditional as potatoes and sides.
Indian,and Thai are more exotic.
Mexican is, and isn't.
African is a new fascination for me.

When you get that vacation allowance does it mean you can save and then fly to some 'warm destination' like Caribbean or whereever? For how long then?
Sure...you can go wherever your heart desires....and I guess till your money runs out...a few weeks maybe
