- The past week our pool has been ever so slowly filling up and this week was the first swim of the season and I must say it was just glorious.
The wedding that we had on the weekend was a good time spent with friends and also getting to make new friends.
the strawberries are also ripe and ready for us to enjoy. summer work is starting to pick up speed and before we know it we are going to be in full swing but, that's what summers are on a Hutterite colony and we love it.
#Hutteritelife #summer2020
I love that you take on modern appliances in a way that makes sense! And that you keep living a meaningful life!
Thank-you for allowing us non-Hutterites a window into your remarkable world. You are an emissary of a way of life that when read about in books is too often dismissed as fiction, but when viewed ,the viewer cannot help but be moved by the subtle truths of what is possible when a people come together to live how Jesus would have had us live. Bless you and your colony for permitting these snippets of Hutterite life.
Thankyou for your lovely comment im happy that you enjoy the videos as I enjoy making them and giving you a look into our way of life. God bless you.
So wish we could all live this way ❤️
@@gisellewaldner9406 This is so very true🙏 Many of us wish to join you and mourn siblings, parents, grandparents, and nieces/nephews who each are lost.
Thank you Father that my children are still the best in their community I do not approve of.
Thanks Sister for helping me daily as an example with your perseverance to be an online person. I also recommend Rumble as an investment in the future
I love how simple and fulfilling this looks. I can see how some people wouldn’t thrive in such a setting, but I feel like I would.
The Bible verse was very meaningful and appropriate. Thank you for this glimpse into Hutterrite life.
I love how simple the church is. Just proves you can worship anywhere.
You are so cute! I just found you tonight and I’ve been watching you for hours!!! I am enjoying learning about your life so much!!
You are one of the hardest workers I've ever seen. 😊😊🙏🙏
Thankyou 😊
Hi brethren,
So good to hear "Come and dine the Master calleth" in the Wedding. So wonderful that you got every video clips wrapped up with a Bible verse! Praise the Lord!
“Come And Dine”…❤️ that song!
Your church building is lovely and that wedding cake is beautiful
thank you
What a gorgeous storm! Thank you for capturing your life and sharing it with us. ❤️
Lovely summertime clog! Love the wedding prep, the swimming, and esp. your beautiful 🐕 dog! Thanks for your lovely spirit.🐣
I really like how you express your feelings in this vlog. It makes everything even more real. Great job 👍🏼
I love watching your videos you are a lovely young lady with a wonderful family and a very caring community I love how everyone is there for each other it is a beautiful way of life bless you all stay safe x
Thankyou ❤
In one of your newer videos there was a little boy probably under 10 years old from your colony that said the girls are "lazy and don't work" - he really needs to see your videos!! You young ladies are AMAZING!
I missed that which one was it? and he was possibly just teasing they know that they get a reaction that way tsk tsk quite something.
I can relate to this video. I used to do dishes and clean the lunch room when I was in school. It was voluntary. Just helping the ladies out to lessen their load.
As usual you never fail to share epic moments . Your world is very beautiful and peaceful . The wedding cake liked amazing but to tell you the truth my mouth was watering with those cinnamon rolls ! I’d love it if you could share the recipe , thanks bunches .
Could you share how to make ginger water, please. I love fresh ginger and it is so good for you.
We love watching your videos & seeing your way of life. God bless your channel 🎵
I love the way you live and socialise!
Did you ladies make the wedding cake? It's gorgeous! 😍
So much hard work
But all of you together make it look easy
I admire you and your people
You will probably never see this, but since you didn't film the wedding, does the bride get to wear a wedding dress?
I work at a store that sells fabric to many colonies in this area. I’m not sure about the cut but they are often coloured satin with matching lace overlay. Blue is very popular!
Another beautiful video! Thank you so much for sharing your life with us!
What a beautiful wedding! Thank you for sharing.
I realized I hadn't finished watching this. Glad I noticed it. The most precious part is you hugging Kona. I just love your dog. Of course beagles are my favorite but I love all furry babies. Kona is such a good dog. Consider yourself lucky because not everyone can handle Shepard/snow dog breeds. I'm a registered vet nurse and you wouldn't believe people I run into who adopt Shepards, Huskys and Malamutes but can't handle them because they have small yards etc. Most people in the US don't live in a country setting like you do. My home is on 1/3 or an acre so unless I'm willing to walk a dog several times a day, I have no business getting any breed that's larger than 30-40 lbs. It takes more of a commitment for a larger dog, I think. Glad Kona has lots of space to exercise and waits for you everywhere you go. She is such a darling girl!
You overwhelm me. I hope you get to rest once in awhile! Blessings to you.
I get tired just watching you flit here and there. Blessings to you.
yeah a wedding is a lot of work that can be tiring even though they are fun. blessings to you.
love love your community such a stress free lifestyle, most of us we think we are free but we are not
we are slaves of banks and tax. we need to keep working in order to maintain our lifestyle, sadly most of
us do not even like our jobs. We think we own our belongings but in reality we do not instead they own us,
if you stop paying your mortgage you get evicted, you stop paying your car monthly instalment it get possessed
soooooooooooo stressful. Well done to all of you xxx
Thankyou I know a little about it I left the colony 2ish years ago and as someone that grew up on a colony and didn't know anything it was pretty hard.
I was just thinking the same thing. Hubby works off the farm from 5am home by 9pm. I run the farm from cattle to goats and pigs. Homeschool kids. If any of us gets hurt we could loose it all. His life insurance is so high just incase. But it huge expense. Kids refuse to Goto school. I can’t say I blame them.
@Samantha Miller- I’ll be praying for you. You’ve got a lot on your plate. I hope for some relief for you and your family soon.
@@kated4359 awww thank you. It’s always been this way. Gets easier as the kids get older.
Your church is lovely. I like the wedding decor and the fruit basket.
The wedding decor is beautiful!! When can we expect a wedding for our most favorite Hutterite?? Lol
Rude question
I could never survive there. I am allergic to all allium vegetables (garlic, onions, ginger etc). But I sure would love to be there,... such a beautiful life.
Such a great vlog! The wedding decorations were beautiful! Food looked great. Fun for all. You’re cinnamon rolls also looked delicious! Nice swimming pool. 9We put one in last summer. The work for me offsets all the pool time. Gets pretty hot here in Vicksburg, Mississippi. We opened our pool two weeks ago. Temps in 80° already. 🥰🥰
oh wow I wish we could get our pool up and running already but, for now its not possible its still snowing glad you enjoyed the vlog :)
We r having a wedding on August 9 I'm so excited can't wait 😉😉😉
What a beautiful basket! A very thoughtful, practical gift.
delicious too
@@gisellewaldner9406 Yes! Lol I saw those chocolates too. 😋
Do you guys have contact with Hutterites in the states? Or how do you connect with other Hutterite colonies? Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. They’re done so well, girl, God has blessed you with many gifts! Thank you for sharing with the rest of us! 🎁
I would like to live in your community and experience the fellowship you share with your brothers and sisters in harmony.
At the exact moment I watched the part where 08:46PM is written it was exactly 08:46AM for me and this felt really strong.
oh wow this is cool :)
It's so amusing to me that it's still bright as day past 8pm. Here in India 🇮🇳 even during summers when ghe days are long it gets dark by 7pm!
Wow what a great happy celebration! I’m sure many people who view your blog May want to have your colony plan and have there wedding at your colony..
it is a happy celebration makes all the hard work that goes with it worth it.
So I am just watching your latest video that you Uploaded it is so great to see you back with all the amazing video I am Catholic and I love watching your videos because there we have some similarities and so many differences but yet that doesn't stop me from working a video because I love them and I learned so much from you iand your community God bless u and your family and community
Perfect day for a wedding, great video
Our potatoe peeler is very similar, had mine open twice in one go..was awful! This made me laugh and remember
one might think I would start to remember but, it happens way more then I care to admit. :)
Many thanks. As I understand it, the bride comes from another Colony and the couple then live on the man's colony. Yes?
Do the couple visit and know one another before-hand?
How are they introduced to start?
Your sister is so sweet and happy. ☺️
Does the bride wear white on her wedding day?
Do ya'll take professional singing lessons? The harmony is beautiful 😍
The sunbeams at about the 4 minute mark....breathtaking--- Surely, The Presence... 💗
Thank you for letting us share in such a special time. Blessings to the happy couple.
you are so welcome.
Do the girls get to choose the colors for the decorations for their wedding ? Are their wedding dresses the same pattern or are they all different styles ?
Hi, ok in the start of the video what is the fruit that is being held up. Is that a type of grape or ? Thank you love to watch your videos. 💗
I just watched this vlog for the first time, I know it's late, but can you tell the bride and the bridegroom congratulations from me? I wish them all the best and I hope that they will be happy for the rest of their lifes
That is far ams away the nicest H colony I've ever seen. I live in Montana. There are definitely no colonies that look like that here...
Y’all clean SOO MUCH!!! I feel so nasty sitting in my house just watching you clean😟
This was a fun video to watch. Thank you so much. I would like to ask a few questions. …. I saw the thunderstorms and I was wondering are there basements in your homes or a storm shelter? Maybe you don’t have tornadoes. Here in the middle of the US we get tornadoes. A basement is a good thing to have. There are a lot of people that don’t. Just curious I guess. I just live the landscape and the sunsets you photograph. They are so pretty. I would love a puzzle with the oranges and pinks. Don’t feel like you have to answer all my questions. I was wondering if you all are self sustaining. I think it would be a nice place to visit. You are so cute I love listening to you. Thank you. I have more questions but I’ll wait.
I did not mention in my last comments but I really do enjoy the gardening. My current living situation does not allow me to garden but I am an arborist so I get to work with trees on daily work schedule..
that sounds interesting and I'm glad you enjoy the gardening its coming again really soon.
I thought you said men sat on one side of the room and women the other. Home come at the wedding dinner they sat together?
As a linguist I’d have to say your accent fluctuates from American/British/Irish with certain words it’s very rare, and amazing.
Cool this is interesting I actually always though that I didn't have one but, I guess you don't hear it when everyone talks the same way as you as one gets used to it 😊
Not a linguist but growing up with British parents and grandparents, I too caught the fluctuations. Interesting accent.
Did your community respond negatively to your tattoos when you returned to the colony?
Oh the basket looks so delicious!
You have Toffifee over there? They are so yummy, one of my favourite sweets =)
Wondering myself is that a tattoo on your wrist ?
I was wondering the same???
@@sstirling8816 Me too : ).
Why are the bride and groom entering the colony from outside? Don’t they live there? Where are they coming from?
Beautiful way of life
Thankyou 😊
Curious for the reason to have separate seating rather than being able to sit with your families.
I've seen it before but is there any particular reason you seperate the men and women? Is it something that has biblical roots or was it something your leaders felt called to do?
Anabaptists in general seem to do this
I think it goes back to the Jewish tradition, something that Jesus would have done when he attended weddings or went to the temples.
You are an inspiration!
It is so immaculate!
What would be the biggest age difference between the bride and the groom acceptable to Hutterites?
there is no age gap that is not acceptable.
@@waitwhat9412 yes you are correct we don't believe in that and it's absolutely unacceptable
@@waitwhat9412 thank you and for letting me how to better understand the question I guess I didn't read it properly 😊
What does a Hutterite wedding dress look like? White? And what does the groom wear?
Do the girls not get married very young in your community ? I’ve seen some religious groups where the girls are married off at the first opportunity. Do you think you will get married ? Will you stay in the same community when you do ?
I would say we get married around a an average age usually between 22-28 there is no specific age there have been some that are a lot older but, those ages are more common lately. honestly I don't know I don't worry about it but, if your partner comes from a different colony then the girl moves with him to his colony.
I want to paint your beautiful clean sanctuary walls 🌄 words cannot say
God Bless you!
God bless you too

Looking on your vlog form Norway. And i just wonder. Can a person who are not born a Hutterit becom an Hutterit?
Someone asked the same thing in another video. She said yes, there were people in the past who joined the community.
Don’t cry, little one. Remember the apostle Paul said in everything be thankful for it is the will of God for you. He also said all things work together for good. And he said I can do all things through him who strengthens me. There’s nothing giving you he said that you cannot bear. Don’t cry. Trust God. Just a thought from deep in the heart of Texas.
Thankyou 😊
Beautiful cake !
Our Mennonite Church was like that until the late 60's early 70's. Men on left side, women on the right side.
❤
Thank you so much!
Why don't you have to mop after breakfast? Is it because it's so close to lunch?
Where will the new couple live ? Is there always an empty apartment at the colony ?
if there is no empty house they will move in with the parents until one becomes available.
Wiping floors twice a day? Wow, that's very hard
When you left the colony were there requirements to return before you were accepted back into the colony? Which province is the colony you a part of located?
I believe she said in another vlog she’s in Manitoba.
The wedding food looks amazing. How do you make ginger water?
I'd have to ask one of our ladies she is the expert at making it I have never made it before.
@@gisellewaldner9406 I would love to know too. Does your colony have a cookbook for sale?
@@sstirling8816 currently trying to find out if we do
@@gisellewaldner9406 Thanks! I just came across your vlogs and subscribe. I have a love of true and tried cookbook recipes. Blessings to you.
Where do the newlyweds reside? Is a new home built for them before they marry?
Why do u only have a doing on Sunday..... colonies here in Alberta have 2 days at the brides colony and then 3 days at the grooms colony
COVID?
@@kassrripples3659 even without covid.... Alberta colonies have way larger celebration compared to Manitoba colonies.....when it comes to weddings it is a five day event.... even funerals are three day events...yes covid has impacted some of it.... but still
Sorry about not replying sooner I just now saw your comment about the wedding but, I donno we have just always done it this way. I think it would be too much for me personally im tired after just one day 🤣
Yes covid has changed things alot but, the wedding had taken place when things around here were still very much ok and normal to some extent
@@gisellewaldner9406 same here in Alberta..... but I guess our Colony hasn't had a wedding since the beginning of covid.... but yes I feel you on the being tired part...... one definitely is exhausted after a wedding or funeral around here but the memories make it worth it
Live ur videos from Saskatchewan
Thankyou I glad you enjoy them 😊
Do you wash the laundry for your whole family or the whole Colony?
Who pays for the wedding? If the groom comes from another community, which community pays and where is it held!
Love the songs! What is the first song called?
I believe its called come and dine
Just wondering.... do you have a tattoo on your wrist? Lovin' ur vlog btw
Looks like a reference to a bible verse?
I like the wedding outfit but I didn't see the Bride, I would love to see the Bride too.
Good Morning xoxoxo could you please remind me of the title of the song that is being sung by the choir while you’re showing us the drink in your cup please thank you
Come & dine (The Master Calleth)
what time do you eat supper?
Oh wow
Our weddings r pretty much da same that song is very familiar 9:11
Do you have a hulba on Saturday
Yeah, I was wondering also. Maybe it was downsized because of COVID-19 so she didn't mention it......
@@memyselfandicountry1553 What does hulba mean?
God bless you .
God bless you
Amazing 💟
How many people are in your community?
I so wanted to see the bride an groom 😥 Your people seem camera shy , do you not take pictures?
it would have been nice if I could have added them..we take pictures but, there are very, very few that want their face on RUclips.
Where is this colony?
