    Would you suggest to have winter tyres on. I have CRV and have All season tyres right now. I’m planning to move in first week of January from toronto to calgary??

      Yes, please use winter tires during the winter season drive for this stretch. A MUST for the safety.

      Hi Ashmit, did you finish the trip? Did you keep the winter tires on? And are those mandatory?

    brother did this trip twice once with friends and the other time with my wife. I think you should have taken highway 11 to North bay and timmins then coming down towards thunder Bay. but this trip is gorgeous in summer winter is pretty dangerous. wish you good luck brother stay blessed

    is it safe to travel on car ?

    • @SIMPLE_OVERLAND
      @SIMPLE_OVERLAND  3 года назад +1

      During summer it is like any highway road trips. But during winter, it is ideal to prepare accordingly as the Northern Ontario in various portions of the highway sections are remote.

    what month was it that you were travelling? Planning to drive now in Jan 2023 any tips? Do you think its safe? Anyways great video!

      It was last week of December. Have extra fuel if you are driving overnight as almost everything closed overnight. Else make sure during day/night tank full between Sault St Mary and Wawa.
      Better cross Sault St Mary and Wawa during the day, scenic stops and scenic drive.
