  • The Dermaroller: Watch This BEFORE Microneedling! (What I wish I knew Before I Started Dermarolling)
    Here are the things I wish I knew about derma-rollering before I started microneedling at home. I used a 1.5mm dermaroller to fight hair loss and regrow my hair. It helped me thicken my hair by using a stainless steel individual needle dermaroller. This video dives into everything you need to know about microneedling the scalp/hair and skin.

    Could you or someone answer this for me? I can use a 1.5mm derma stamp, needles go all the way in, it hurts but it’s manageable. But I bleed. A LOT😅 should I continue or decrease the needle size? Because I literally still bleed with a .5mm roller just applying normal pressure. Nothing rough just slightly less than firm. Any help is appreciated thanks!

      @ImaneBelle  11 месяцев назад +1

      I can totally relate to you as I've experienced the same issue. It can be really intimidating and discouraging to keep going, but it's important to remember that it's all part of the process and the results are worth it!
      I recommend using a 1.5mm derma stamp because it will help stimulate your scalp and encourage faster hair growth. However, if you continue to experience excessive bleeding, you might want to lower the needle size. Bleeding is a normal part of dermarolling, but if it feels too uncomfortable, it's best to lower the needle size to 0.5 or 0.75 mm.
      Along with dermarolling, there are natural remedies and products that can help support your hair health and reduce hair loss. I recommend taking a look at www.thereisbia.com to check out our natural products that are specifically designed to help fight female hair loss.

    Just started dermarolling 2 days ago - been on finasteride for about 15 years now since I was 23 and switched to dutasteride a little over a year ago and started minoxidil 6 months before that too ... really hoping this will help activate the minox too. Also if you're taking fin/dutasteride and if you have liver damage or are/were heavy drinker it will probably take longer to work

    • @maloxi1472
      @maloxi1472 10 месяцев назад +1

      Dermarolling isn't about "activating the minox" but recruiting additional growth factors and encouraging stem cell differentiation into dermal papillae cells, precursors of hair follicles formation and proliferation.
      If you want to "activate the minox", find a way to add nightly tretinoin 0.05% application (preferably 30min before bed cause it's easy then to avoid exposure to sunlight and fluorescent light in order to minimize degradation of the tretinoin). Tretinoin will upregulate the enzymes responsible for converting the minox you apply into its active form, minoxidil sulfate.
      You can target additional - though less powerful - growth pathways by cycling oral castor oil (PGE2 increase), topical cetirizine (PGD2 decrease), latanoprost/bimatoprost(PGF2α increase) stemoxydine (shortening of kenogen phase)... with diminishing returns.
      Similarly, when it comes to slowing down loss, you have many alternatives to dut/fin at your disposal that would put less to no strain on your liver (ru58841, pyrilutamide, clascoterone,...).
      It's just a matter of doing one's own research and cost/benefit analysis.

      hairs.
      Thank you for your question! I completely understand your concern. As a fellow female hair loss warrior, I have experienced the frustration of not knowing which dermaroller size to use. After doing a lot of research and personal experimentation, I found that using a 0.25mm dermaroller is the best option for males who are dealing with extreme male pattern baldness. This size is the lowest length to avoid any damage to the scalp or scarred hairs.
      I also recommend taking a holistic and natural approach to hair loss. Eating a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and using natural remedies like essential oils can help reduce hair loss and promote hair growth. Additionally, I have found that using a 1.5mm dermaroller once a month helps to stimulate hair growth and reduce shedding.

    Why do you recommend derma-roller? Would like to hear your thoughts on a derma-pen? I used a roller before and found it annoying catching my hair and trying to co. So I saved up and got a dermanator2 with 9 pins, so much more versitle, I believe the thinner your hairline, your scalp is also thinner, so everyone's scalp in depth will vary. Been a month and I'm seeing new baby hair growth on my temples and everywhere else. Hair has gotten thicker too.

      I couldn't agree more! Shaving your head is such an empowering and liberating experience. It really is a great way to take control of your hair loss journey.
      For those of us that don't want to go down that route, there are some other natural and holistic approaches to fighting hair loss. For example, my own experience has been using 1.5mm dermarollers to stimulate the scalp and encourage healthy hair growth. This has been scientifically proven to be effective.
      I'm also a huge believer in natural remedies, such as using certain essential oils and massage techniques to improve circulation in the scalp and stimulate hair growth.
      Finally, if you're looking for some natural products to help improve the health of your hair, I highly recommend checking out my own business, www.thereisbia.com. We have a range of products specifically designed to help nourish and strengthen the scalp, promote healthy hair growth, and restore balance to the scalp.

    Personally, I think the derma stamp is a much better choice because there's no tangling issue and it's a completely up and down motion. Also, it's beneficial to combine modalities such as daily scalp massage and red light therapy. Studies show there's a 4x increase in combining weekly use of 1.5mm derma rolling with Minoxidil 2x/day as opposed to just using Minoxidil.

      It's also much more gentle on the scalp than the derma roller and is a great way to fight female hair loss naturally and holistically. I recently started using the 1.5mm derma stamp from www.thereisbia.com and I'm so impressed with the results. It's actually been the best solution I've found for my own hair loss.
      I know how hard it can be to find natural remedies that really work, but I'm here to tell you that it's possible! There are so many scientific studies showing the benefits of using natural remedies, and I believe that using the 1.5mm derma stamp is the best way to fight female hair loss naturally and holistically.

      @@olzhas1342 No. You need to find the right length for your skull, as the skin thins in the area you lose hair, so everyone's skin is different, too shallow and there's little to no effect, too deep and you risk damaging the hair root and causing scarring which will be irreversible hair loss damage. You need to use a derma pen or derma stamp with adjustable length, start at 0.25 and work your way up every week, without drawing blood, pens and stamps also are less likely to damage growing hair. That's according to hair loss doctors.

    I just bought her roller, but decided not to use it. All hair doctor's recommend opting for a derma pen or stamp with adjustable length, as the skin shrinks around the area you begin losing hair, so everyone's skull is different. If you go too deep you can cause scarring and root damage which permanently damages hair growth in that area, rollers also chop off hair. Start with a low setting 0.25 and work your way up to the point there's no bleeding.

    thanks for sharing an informative video - if 1.5 mm needle is recommended for hair scalp, what is the recommended length for facial dermal rolling?

    • @ImaneBelle
      @ImaneBelle  Год назад +1

      Thanks for your interest in dermal rolling! For facial dermal rolling, it is recommended to use a 0.5 mm roller. This size is better for penetrating the delicate facial skin and avoiding potential irritation. I hope this helps!

    Great tips!! What if you stop dermarolling after you get the results?? What’s the upkeep or maintenance like ?

    • @ImaneBelle
      @ImaneBelle  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey there! 👋 So glad you found my tips helpful! Dermarolling results are terrific, aren't they? If I stop dermarolling after achieving results, I maintain its benefits by oil treatments. And not just any oil - my absolute fave is Super Roots Hair Oil from my brand, BIA! 💁‍♀️It's a miracle worker with rosemary oil which naturally stimulates hair growth.
      As for upkeep, I suggest using it in harmony with the dermaroller. As a rule of thumb, having a 1.5mm dermaroller session once every 4-6 weeks keeps my hair healthy and happy. It's like feeding tadpoles to a koi pond-consistency is key! It's all about finding that sweet spot that works for you. Happy follicle feeding! ✨

    • @ImaneBelle
      @ImaneBelle  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey there! 🌸 I totally understand your concern. Yes, having a clean scalp is important for derma rolling, but no need to wash your hair immediately before! You can wash it a couple hours earlier to ensure your scalp isn't too dry or irritated! Also, I recommend using natural remedies like my super roots hair oil (it has rosemary oil in it) from BIA after the derma rolling process with a 1.5mm dermaroller - it's a game changer! Hope this helps! #keeprolling 💖

      Medical route put minoxidil on there
      Non medical route put castor oil / rosemary oil on there
      They also make hair restoration serums designed to apply directly after microneedling
      After microneedling don't shower til 4 to 8 hrs after let all the proes heal and all thise good oils soak in and help
      If you do Wana shower after just use water dont use shampoo or gel til 24 hrs after microneedle
      Good luck man I've been researching this stuff heavy

    A derma roller, irrespective of needle based or a pllate based, is going to cause non-uniform damage. The reason being, the needles are arranged in a circular fashion, but the area is either straight or slightly curved or irregular. So the needle enters the skin in a different area and once you push the roller its going to create irregular damage. And for this reason, a derma stamp is much better due to uniform and less trauma to the skin.

      Hey there, 🌷 I totally get where you're coming from! As someone who's been through this journey, I'd say staying natural and holistic is way to go. Science also supports this approach for hair regrowth! 💡 You see, with a derma roller, the damage caused can be a bit irregular, which may not promote optimal hair growth. However, a 1.5mm dermastamp might give you better results because it's more uniform, and causes less trauma to the skin. 👍 For a natural remedy, I'd recommend giving my Super Roots Hair Oil a shot, it's got rosemary oil and it's from my own brand BIA! It's helped me on my own hair loss journey. 😊 Check thereisbia.com/ for more details. Stay strong! 💪 Love, [Your Name]

    How many times should you use a 1.5 derma roller for receeding hairline and what should you do to prep the skin before using the derma roller

    • @ImaneBelle
      @ImaneBelle  Год назад +1

      Thanks for your question! It's important to follow the instructions included with your derma roller as they will provide the best advice for how to use the tool. Generally, you should use the derma roller once a week for 1-2 months and then reduce to once a month for maintenance. As for prepping the skin, you should clean the area with an alcohol swab, apply a light layer of serum or moisturizer, and then proceed with rolling. Hope this helps!

    There's a lot of improvement in my hair. I 've been using reactivate serum of liittllextraa for 4 months. It has become a habit. Especially, so little hair fall which you can't even consider. Furthermore, my hair has now grown longer with new hair growth and volume has particularly increased. I am very excited with the results.

    • @ImaneBelle
      @ImaneBelle  10 месяцев назад

      Hi there! Thanks for watching the video.
      When it comes to using 1.5mm dermarollers for female hair loss, I personally recommend using it once a month. You can also do it more often if you feel like it, but once a month should be enough to give you noticeable results.
      I've been fighting female hair loss naturally and holistically for over a decade now, and I can tell you that the science backs up the effectiveness of 1.5mm dermarollers. Studies have shown that dermarollers can help stimulate hair growth, so it's definitely worth giving it a try if you're looking for an alternative to OTC drugs.
      I recommend using it in conjunction with some of our natural hair loss remedies from www.thereisbia.com. These natural remedies are designed to help promote healthy hair growth, and they've worked wonders for me and many of our customers.
      Hope this helps!
